2017 ford escape starts when I turn ignition to RUN position and will shut down once I press the gear shift release.

Hi Guys,

need some help figuring out how to fix this problem.
My 2017 will start when I turn the ignition to run position. Then when I press the Shift gear release, the vehicle will turn off. Once I release the shift gear, the vehicle will turn on again.

I had the Fortin remote starter since 2019 and was working well. I added the rf kit and programmed fortin evo-all and was working.
I did some changes to the setting on the fortin evo all with the flashlink manager. after that, car won't start anymore with the remote start.
I reflashed the unit to see if it can work. but no dice. I was trying to do the 2 key programming but didnt work. turned the vehicle off.
Now the evo all wont go into program mode when attached to the vehicle and the car won't start. It wont even turn on when the unit is connected.

I removed the unit and that's when it will start when I turn the ignition to run. and shut off when I press the shift gear release. Then once I let go if the shift gear, it will start again.
It looks like its stuck into the remote stat system.
I removed all the t-harness wiring of the fortin and returned everything back to stock. But it's still doing the same.

I have removed the Negative battery that is attached to the frame and removed the positive terminal as well overnight. I haven't done anything yet today and will wait until I get back home to try and see if it would reset the ecu and go back to normal.

Question as well, can I short the Positive wire (Disconnected from the battery) and the Negative wire (Still connected to the battery) to reset the electronics or should I remove the negative battery terminal to do it? Its really hard to remove the negative terminal and easier to remove the one that is attached to the frame.
Or leaving the battery disconnected for 10+hrs is enough?

How to make this work on my 2.2d Infiniti Q50?

Hello, I have tried multiple times on both the standard Q50 and 2.0t models settings with diesel mode enabled but it will not work with my 2.2d model. When I go to remote start, the battery turns on, which is then followed by the dash being lit up with all sorts of malfunctions, faults, check engine light, etc and refuses to turn the engine over. However when I unplug the unit the vehicle works as normal even with all the piggy backs in so I don't think it's a case of loose wiring. Not sure if it matters but I purchased the kit through MyPushCart, who doesn't seem to be able to help me. If possible could I be told what vehicle and settings I should select in which to make it work? Would greatly appreciate that as I keep hitting the DCryptor limit trying different settings. Also do I still need to use the OBD II piggy back or is it not necessary? Thanks.

EVO-ONE after 1,5 years stopped

After just over a year and half, and just less than a week ago it was working fine, my remote start no longer works. It acts like the vehicle battery is dead. I have checked the module, red led comes on, then yellow, then everything off like dead battery. If I pop the hood, it says not ready. Door open, not ready. So it tries but fails. Vehicle battery is fine, and vehicle starts fine with the key. Do I need to reflash the module? Defective module? Vehicle battery to low? 2004 Chevy Suburban 2LT Standard Key. Evo ONE with CARLINK ASCL6 and T harness in a 2022 tundra locks not working via app

Everything programmed and working minus the locks via the CARLINK app. The parking lights flash and mirrors start to fold in during lock but nothing from the lock. Several ofthers are having the same exact issue Any help would be awesome. Thanks -B

How do I increase my remote start run time?

Hello. I have a Mazda CX-9 2023 using Evo-One to remote start. The serial number is 002B04 215450. It's installed using THAR-ONE-MAZ3 - T-HARNESS. I would like to increase the run time to the maximum after I remote start the vehicle. How can I do that please? If the decryptor needs to be used, please reset it for me please. I may have reached the limit. Thanks

when i activate the remote start it flashes blue 5 times.

i just bought a mitsubishi lancer and it has the fortin ftx84 remote start put into it, when i activate the command start it flashes blue 5 times, i have read that this is the hood latch. how can i fix or figure out what the issue is with the hood latch?

Remote start for Aston Martin Rapid 2012

I want to install remote starter to my Aston Martin Rapide 2012. Back on the days Aston Martin used lots of Ford parts on the engine and Volvo parts on the cabin, such as the trunk release system, navigation, audio system and fob remote control. Original electronics of the remote control is a Volvo one. My car has already a push to start button. I want to be able to start the car remotely.
