Tach sensor 2009 Kia Spectra

2009 Kia Spectra. THAR-ONE-KHY1. I need to know which wire to connect the tach signal to. Yes, in the Wire Colour diagram it does tell me which wire on the ECM, but no-where can I find which wire on the EVO-one it must be connected to. I have by-passed it currently using programmable option 20.2, but the start quality is pathetic; in cold temperatures it requires more crank time, causing excessive starter drag in warmer conditions. Adjust for warm temperatures and the crank is in-sufficient for the cold mornings. Advice for me?

2001 Toyota Highlander tach signal problem

I just installed an evo one in a 2001 Highlander. Vehicle runs for about 8 seconds then shuts down and flashes the parking lights four times which means no tach signal. I have programmed the module to tachless. I set tachless sensitivity -3 because starter did grind with default setting. I have reflashed the module a couple of times and double triple checked all my wiring what am i missing. Why would it flash no tach signal if I have it set to tachless mode option 20 selection 2. Please help I have no idea where to go from here Toyota Highlander MFG date: 01/01 Evo one SN: 002B04 321003

weak tach

I have installed an evo one 411 in a 2008 Mazda 3 auto trans and I seem to have a weak tach signal. It does work but I do notice the starer seems to stay engaged a bit after the engine has started.Sometimes it starts and runs for about 15 seconds then quits and the lights flash 4 times. Also a couple times when testing it the starter stayed engaged for about 5-10 seconds.

2018 Ford Edge will not crank.

Installed Evo-All with Thar-3 into a 2018 Ford Edge push to start, using guide 68921. Module # 001A07 017412, no RF kit installed. Using the OE remote on the lock-unlock-lock, the dash will power up and park lamps will turn on like it wants to start. Unit will not crank, after the second attempt, the lights will flash 3 times indicating. Changed setting D4 to hybrid on/tachless mode, and the vehicle will act like it turns on and park lights will stay illuminated. Still does not crank. Have the black 4 pin, white 20 pin, white 5 pin, red 6 pin connecters all attached. I believe I have all the required wiring connected. Installation shows one end of the black 4 pin going to a remote starter with AVEC Data-Link? Does this need to be connected to something? Tried to tie it into the diag connector temporarily as shown without data-link with no change. Will this Evo-All not act as a remote starter? What am I missing?

2011 Ford F150 ignition turns on but does not crank. EVO-ALL flashes red 3 times.

Module flashed and programming work as expected. The ignition turns on but it won't crank. Unit flashes red 3 times. The remote start works immediately after programming, touching the brake shuts off the engine. However as soon as I use the key in the ignition the pressing lock 3x no longer works.

Evo all flashes red 3x. No tach. Ignition turns on but no crank.

Try to remote start with Evo all installed in 2017 ram 1500. Installed and programed as directions said. Used t-harness

Re-program tach?

I wired up an Evo-all to my '05 Lexus GX470 with a Viper alarm/remote start system. It had been working perfectly find for the past few months until I tried remote starting and the remote FOB ran out of battery right when I pressed the remote start button. Now when I try to remote start, the vehicle will start for 1-2 seconds, shuts off, and attempt to keep restarting over and over again. I spoke with Fortin tech support and they told me to re-program the tach. I asked if it was the same as re-programming it all over again from the start but the tech support just kept repeating "re-program the tach." Based on the install manual I used from your website, the only "programming" I needed to do was the bypass. How do I just program the tach?

Golf R 2017 activation via handbrake

VW Golf R 2017 Manual transmission with evo-one 78.35/1.24. is it possible to do option 33.2 (activation via brake/handbrake) when 20.6 (tach data-link only) or do I have to wire the tach?

Where is the Tach wire on the EVO-ONE

2014 Wrangler manual transmission I have no remotes for this unit and plan on using the OEM remote. The unit will not remote start. The flash tool says that the tach wire needs to be hooked up, not to use the tachless mode. So, Which wire is it? I will need the PIN number too since the extra wires have been removed to reduce the wires in the install.

2012 KIA Optima shuts down after 5 minutes then restarts.

I did an install on a 2012 Kia Optima (standard key) with a Avital and EVO-ALL. It starts fine, but then it runs for 5-6 minutes then shuts off and restarts again. It doesn't do it every time, but when it does, it will do it over and over unless you shut it off with either the remote or the brake. When it shuts down, there are no parking light flashes, it just shuts off and a second later starts up again. The customer did not even notice until he was outside one if the times it restarted. I made sure that avital was set to standard tach and not virtual tach. What could be causing this issue? Is it possible the tach signal is being interrupted? If it is most likely the tach, would switching to virtual tach fix the issue? Customer lives an hour away, so I dont't want to have him keep driving back and forth over and over again trying to diagnose the issue.

EVO-All No Tach Output to Soundstream ARS.2 Remote Starter- Tach Lock Out

Vehicle- 2014 Subaru Impreza Bypass- EVO- All Remote Starter- Soundstream ARS.2 Programming/ Decryptor went ok after updating firmware on bypass and FlashLink. Following install guide, Options C1 and D5 were enabled as well as defaults A1-A11. Options B1 (Convenience) and B2 for the Aftermarket RS Kit All wiring done and verified per Install Guide 35011 Rev.- 21061209 The problem I am having is that the vehicle will key start but not Remote Start. The onboard Diagnostics of the Soundstream states that it is in Tach Lock Out due to not having a Tach signal. Is this a Fortin problem (wiring or programming) or is this a Soundstream problem? UPDATE 1 I realized after submitting this question that I never actually flashed the settings into the EVO-All. After completing this step, I was able to get it to attempt to start but then the 2 way transmitter output the Tach Lock Out error again. I went through the Troubleshooter Guide and saw a bit about Starter 1 & Starter 2 and Ignition 1 & Ignition 2 being required. Here is where I run into another issue. The Remote Starter has Starter 1 and Ignition 1 but has a Selectable Output for either Igniton 2 or Starter 2. It is currently wired up and set as Ignition 2. Could this be my issue? Do I need to rewire and set this output as Starter 2? When attempting to remote start, I do have 12 Volts coming out of the RS Module and going into the Black/ White Starter Activation circuit but it does not crank. UPDATE 2: My issues seems to be coming from a lack of a Tachometer signal. When the RS is programmed in Tachless Mode or Hybrid 2 Mode, it will go through the motions of starting without actually cranking. No faults will output as the Fortin and RS think the vehicle started and is running without problem. Now my question is this- Why does the Installation Guide tell me to hook up the Evo All Tach Output wire to the RS Tach Input wire if no signal is being sent? I am going to W2W the Tach Input wire from the RS to an ignition coil or fuel injector tomorrow. I will make sure to post the results and/ or the fix as soon as I figure out what the problem is. I am only hoping that I can help any customers there were left hanging when requesting Tech Support and not getting a response.

Crank but wont start

This is 2013 Toyota Camry G Key. Bypass Version 79.37 and Remote Starter version 1.19.

Bypass version a1 to a11 is on. Rest all are off.

When i try to start the car using Remote, Vehicle crank but wont start. Parking light flashes 4 times. This means Tach signal is not obtained properly from Can bus.

I see sometimes, car Starts and since Tach signal is not obtained properly the starter disengages slowly.

Sometimes it crank and it wont start.  Please advise how to solve the problem. I am using fortin RF642W

remote and the remote are configured with no issues.

I have verified Can high, Can Low and IMMO data from where i tapped to the wiring harness of EVo one, i see good continuity.

Issue 2: My OEM remote is not working. I enabled 3 times lock on remote and bypass but still not working. Not a major issue. but dont know why it is not working. PLEASE NOTE i have enabled 3xlock on remote start and oem remote monitoring on bypass, but still it doesnt work.

Issue 3: After i remote start the car(when it work sometime) if i open the door(getting my hand inside the door and opening the door from inside), there is no alarm. I am thinking that if i lock the car with remote, and when car is remote started, then if i try to open from inside of the car, i expect car alarm to come on but notihing happend. Issue 2 and 3 are not high priority. but for sure issue 1 have to be addressed. I am happy to wire tach (hard wire). but dont know what to connect from where..

i have cross verified my

here is my option for remote starter version 1.19.

07 F150.EVO-ALL. remote start starts vehicle but nothing works through the D2D

I installed the evo-all hooked up so everything would work throught the D2D. I hooked the lock, unlock, brake and tach from the remote start to the evo-all but the functions do not work. in the manual for the CAN network wires are different in the truck compared to the manual. its pins 6 and 14 not 3 and 11. Is there something I missed or does the CAN hook up feature not supported on the f150?

TACH source output from EVO-ALL in 2014 Ford Focus

Is there a TACH or engine RPM signal source with at least 3 volts (AC) and 20 Hz or faster signal when engine is at the idle speed as an output from EVO-ALL?

can't get evo-one on tach programming

Hello, I'm installing evo-one remote starter for my Hyundai Tucson 2011 ( Diesel ) but I can't get to the tach programming, After the blue light flashes 10x , yellow and red light goes solid. I can do the 3x remote start but starter is grinding ( still cranking even when the engine is already running and stops after 1-2 secs. ). I tried hybrid mode to no avail as instructed from another thread. I tried -3 on tachless sensitivity but with the same result.   sequence when I did the programming:   held down programming button while connecting the power with the ff light sequence: Blue -> Red ->  Yellow -> Blue & Red -> Blue -> Red -> Yellow ( this is where I let go of the button ), connected data cables then Ign to ON/Run position, blue light blinked 10x then Yellow and Red light goes solid.   pls help.

Still not working

I have tried every option you have given me. Nothing worked. I ended up putting a brand new EVO ALL module in with the news software available and programmed right away and worked a few times. However customer called later on and says that now it only works every other time. First it cranks for about 10 seconds and stops then on the customer restarts and it works. We programmed the tach wire since it's a diesel. Any ideas?

Evo All problems with 2014 Ford Escape - missing outputs

I have installed a python 1406 with an EVO ALL without the ford harness in a 2014 escape. I am using wire to wire connections and running firmware 4.18. The programming goes as expected as far as the leds on the fortin are concerned. Step by step, after programming the blue led portion, I am able to remote start the car and learn the tach signal. After programming the bypass, I am able to remote start without a key but the remote start shuts down due to no tach signal. At any given point, the car will unlock but not lock. I have verified that the negative lock signal is making to the fortin unit. I also do not have a hood pin signal coming from the fortin. I did not have a door pin signal either so i was forced to run a wire directly to the dome light, which I would prefer not to have. I have programmed the bypass with and without the dcryptor method with the same results. I have verified connections so I am thinking it is something in the evo-all unit itself. Please help.
