Not a question so much as an update to your notes. On the installation instructions it shows Ignition 2 as Pin 9 Black 24 Pin plug as a Pink wire. Vehicle I had it is not a Pink Wire it is Brown but when tested goes + when PTS is hit for ACC or IGN.

Do I need to use an evo all for a 2014 Kia Forte key ignition

Just looking for an answer than can save me some time for the next weekend, I have a 2014 Kia Forte key ignition to do on saturday and I want to know if anyone knows if the key has a chip in it. Ive done many kia's without chipped keys and all they needed was a regular remote start installed, I hope that this will be the case for me. I know if the PATS wire is absent than there is no need to really need a module because thats the wire that would councide with a chipped key and I know i would have to hardwire the required connections. So basically, can anyone verfy whether this car will have a chip key or not, thank you.

are these remote starters "Pitstop" compatible?

I have installed several other remote starters in the past but I ran into your brand for one of my family members which they love the starter, but I am currious. The other brands usually have a feature typically called pit stop mode where if you where to say drive to the store and would like to leave the engine running without the keys in the inigition so that you can lock your doors. Does this brand do that and if so how do you activate it?

2006 Buick Rendezvous remote starter - Where do all of these ignition wires go?

I am installing a Compustar CS800s with a Fortin INT-SL+ in my '06 Rendezvous.

The Compustar has a green igniton wire that I currently have hooked up to the green ignition wire on the car. The compustar also has a blue wire that you can decide it's function with a jumper. Default is Ignition 2. I have not connected this anywhere. Do I need this on my car? If so, where does it connect and do I need to move the jumper?

The Fortin unit has a pink ignition wire which I thought would go to the pink ignition wire in the ignition harness of my car, but I see 3 pink wires in the harness. Which one is it? Is there a way for me to test the wires to see which it is?

Sometimes doesn't start on first crank!

So, this is driving me nuts for days and I cannot figure it out. Please.......I can pay whoever solves this!

Details:

- 2007 Honda Accord (Standard key)

- Manual: https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/27111/evo-all_ig_reg_bi_hon_m_27111.pdf

- Everything wired up per diagram 1.

- Evo-ALL with latest firmware and proper car flashed.

- Viper 4104V remote starter

- Connected in D2D mode to remote starter

- Viper status output (blue) is hardwired to the Evo-All GWR input (dark blue).

- Locking, unlocking, trunk all work excellent 100% of the time.

- Viper is wired to the cars: 12v constant, ground, ignition (heavy gauge), starter, accessory 1, accessory 2

Basically I am having VERY inconsistant crank, but no start issues that make zero sense. About 5 out of 10 times, it will start on the first crank. However, other times it will just crank for 4 seconds, then retry and fire on the second crank.... Also if it fails on the first, crank, I'm able press the remote start button to cancel the start.....then when I press the remote start button again, it will fire on the first crank....weird.

Any ideas?

Why does the ignition wire from the Evo-All go to the 7 pin ignition barrel harness and not the heavy gauge ignition 1 wire on the other car harness?

Am I supposed to connect the Evo-All ignition wire to the remote starter ignition wire too?

Which Start wire to use on Forester 2009 ?

I recently acquired a 2009 Forester. Using a Fortin Evo-All and a Crime Stopper RS2-G3 remote starter I cannot figure out which Start wire to use. 1) Your installation guide suggest the use of Start wires Ter 1 (White/Black) and 2 (White/Red) while the RS2-G3 connector only has one Start wire (Brown). How should I make the proper connection(s) ? 2) As well, the remote starter has two (2) Constant 12V (+) Input Red wires on its 6 pin power harness. Should both of them be connected to the RS2 (+) 12V white wire of the Forester Ignition harness ? PS. I see that on the Evo One installation you use a relay on the Start Ter 2 wire.

2016 Chrysler 200 3 Flashes - No Tach Detected - Ignition on but no crank

2016 Chrysler 200 3 Flashes - No Tach Detected - Ignition on but no crank: I have walked through the troubleshooting guide and checked all of the programming/wire issues that could occur. Any other items to test or check to get the car to remote start? The car attempts to start twice before failing and providing the diagnostic codes.

wont start anymore

Hi i tried to install a revo 1.1 rf kit  today and I can't get it to work. When I program the remotes all they do now is lock the vehicle repeatedly. Also now the fortin remote start does not work on my factory keys fob anymore to start the vehicle. When I hit lock 3 time it doesn't start and when I try to unlock the Jeep it relocks it self.  Any idea what the problem maybe

2010 fusion won't start with oem key anymore

I have successfully* installed an evo fort1 about a week ago and have not drove it since then. It did crank with the key initially but now the car doesn't do anything with the key, won't enable accessory power, crank, toggle lights, or even door chime. Where do I go from here? The only way to start the car is with the remote now and won't even drive once I step on the brake.

Ignition and steering lock on 2013 ES300h

The installation instructions show a black connector in the steering column that has a few thick wires, including a sequence of black/green/black/pink.  However, I removed the steering column cover and this connector doesn't exist.  I found a couple of pink wires in other connectors but none seem to be steering locks, and the green wires don't seem to be ignition when I test with a tester.

Any idea which connector I should pick up the steering lock and ignition wires from?  Thanks!

Toyota Corolla 2005 - Ignition Not Lighting Up

I think I have everything hooked up. and have triple-checked ignition wire connection. The car only turns the engine but never ignites to actually start the car. Any ideas? I now have the wirecolor wire chart, so hopefully that helps. I was using what came with the crimestopper remote start kit. Thanks Ryan

Audi A3 Yellow Ignition + Airbag

Hello, following the instructions through the Fortin & wire-colour sites, the yellow ignition wire connection is under the steering column. The picture on wire-colour shows the airbag controller dissasembled. The airbag module on the A3 is sealed with a caution sticker suggesting that the airbag must be disabled before disasembling - I can't find instructions on your site or wire-colour for disabling the airbag, and neither site specify that work is required around the airbag controller. I'm aware that airbag capacitors carry a charge even after the battery is disconnected, and I attempted to disconnect the ingition harnes and gain access to the yellow wire without messing with the airbag controller, but since the ignition wires pass through behind it, it seems impossible to access the wire and make that connection without dissasembling the airbag controller - I abandoned installation at this point as I could not find a safe way to proceed. Even without disassembling the airbag controller, the air bag warning is now lit in the dash and will need to be cleared - it must have sensed that I was poking around. Since airbags are both expensive and critical for safety, can you provide more detail on steps to access the yellow ignition wire, and how to disable the airbag without risking firing it, or accidentaly breaking it/permanently disabling it? Thanks, Rob
