2008 Highlander Standard Key wiring

I have a 2008 Toyota Highlander Standard Key (No Immobilizer) that I bought an EVO-ONE and T Harness for. The Install Guide 58481 Rev. 20171221 tells me to use Connection 1 but the connectors are not the same. That guide is for a 2003-2007 so the connectors are different and in different locations. My problem is with the RX TX/ Data wires. I have the Key Sense wire hooked up and it is reading key insertion but I still cannot figure out how to get this to work. I am trying to get 3X Lock to work on this vehicle.

Do you have door lock and unlock interface wiring for Toyota Highlander 2007 ?

My car is Highlander 2007 without immobilizer. I need a wiring diagram for door lock and unlock function. Do I need a relay and diodes to have this work ?

EVO-One or EVO-All for 2017 Highlander? (Non-Hybrid PTS)

Hey guys, just picked up a 2017 Highlander a few days ago and Toyota said there was no remote starter available for the car from Toyota. I was wondering if it's better for me to go with the EVO-All or the EVO-One? I want to be able to use the 3x lock button. The chart on the information page doesn't really make sense to me so yeah. Thanks !

How do you hook up door locks in 2004 Toyota Highlander?

There is the Purple unlock wire, Gray lock wire, and the brown wire. In order to lock the vehicle it says you need to break the brown wire, and in order to unlock the vehicle, you need to send a pulse the brown in addition to the purple. I was looking around and wirecolor says to use a relay. I hooked the relay up to break the brown wire using the door lock to pulse the relay and isolated the brown wire with a 3 amp diode. The unlock works perfect, but in order to lock i need to press it 3 times in order for it to lock. does anyone know the proper way to set this up as I must have something wrong

Regular install vs. stand alone install

Under the EVO-ONE 2016 Highlander PTS options, it lists "regular install without take over" and "stand alone install without take over" Does the stand alone install just add remote start capability using 3X remote lock of the factory fob? Also, since both options are "without take over", I'm assuming there is no way to remote start then unlock/drive without shutting down and restarting with the key, correct?

Evo One Leaves Interior Lights On, Drains Battery

According to my wife, the Fortin Evo One with T Harness that I recently installed in her 2011 Toyota Highlander (non-Hybrid, G Key) is causing the interior lights to remain on, which has drained the battery. Has anyone else seen this happen? Is it a possible programming issue?

EVO-ALL Standalone Remote Start not working on 2014 PTS Highlander

Got a 2014 Toyota Highlander XLE (non-Hybrid) push to start (PTS). I have installed an EVO-ALL (HW version 6), re-flashed to firmware 79.20 (beta). I have installed it exactly as described in guide #23771, rev 20141106 (no-key takeover). I am trying to use EVO-ALL as a stand alone remote starter (options C1 & D1 enabled) but it will not work. For what it's worth, I have also tried the key-take over solution, without any success. The module programmed sucessfully (rapid blue flashes to off after ignition turned off). Manually starting the car yields a solid yellow light. Grounding the yellow/black wire (( -) external start/stop input) results in solid red light on evo-all module along with a couple of blue flashes, then the dash reads "Check Smart Key System" and nothing happens. Pressing Lock button on remote 3X yields no response. I'm at a loss here and checked everything possible that I know to check. Anyone have any suggestions of what to check next?

Highlander 08 V6 - Push to Start

Hi was about to purchase a EVO-ALL Data Module unit from Ebay. The seller claims this unit will allow me to use the factory fob to start the vehicle. Is this correct? Also, will the fob work when the car is remotely started, i.e. unlock the doors and open the trunk? Toyota Highlander 2008 V6 - Push Button Start

2014 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum Remote Start compatable with 2012?

I had purchased a Remote Start for a 2012 Toyota Highlander AWD but had not installed it yet. We have traded for a new 2014 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum FWD. Will the Remote Starter unit I have and instruction match our new 2014? Looks to me that the controls are the same but I am not a technician.

Why does Highlander lock again after I open the door?

I just installed an EVO-ALL on a 2013 Highlander with push-to-start. It works great except one oddity: When I do a remote start and then open the door, the engine turns off (as expected). But then, a few seconds later, the doors lock again which is very annoying and possibly unsafe with kids in the car. Please help - thanks!

Have ignition but wont start?

Installing EVO-ALL in 2010 Toyota Highlander Puch to Start. All wired up correctly! When hitting lock 3X the blue light flashes 3 times then goes out, the red and yellow light come on but the vehicle does not crank. It cycles through this process 2 times then shuts off. Also, when car sits for an extended period, when hitting lock 3X no lights come on on the EVO-ALL. I have to cycle vehicle ignition first??

Evo-All Not Programming in 2013 Toyota Highlander PTS (not Hybrid)

Using EVo-All (hardware 6, FW 4.18 and is correct per install manual) with Ultrastart remote starter via datalink for 2013 Toyota Highlander push-to-start. Programming is fine up to step #5. While blue LED is blinking, when the programming button is pushed 1 time, the LED's never change to blue AND yellow blinking. Only blue continues to blink. Rechecked wiring and confimed proper CAN-H and CAN-L connections. Have not tried to reverse them as wiring is correct. What can be wrong or what needs to be tested?
