How to reprogram Fortin RF 411 to new EVO-ALL

Hello, I started having an issue 2 year after installing the evo-all unit where it would not respond using the oem remote or the Fortin 411 remote. The unit work perfectly for 2 years before this and what i noticed is that i could remove the fuse in the T-Harness and put it back in and the unit would work fine for a few days and then would stop responding again. I had a spare EVO-ALL unit laying around, so i flashed it to the vehicle, programmed it to the vehicle and then tried reprograming the previously installed Fortin 411 RF KIT to the new EVO-ALL unit and i can get the module into program mode and the light on the antenna will flash rapidly but the remotes will not re-pair to the antenna. The light on the remotes flash as normal, the lights on the antenna continue to flash and the lights on the module continue to flash waiting for the remotes to be paired. Is there any way around this or am i stuck having to get new remotes and/or RF kit? Vehicle: 2014 Chrysler 200 Fortin EVO-All SN: 001A07 471052 Fortin 411 RF KIT Using T-Harness

Key fobs wont program

I have a 2006 Chev silverado 2500HD and i have installed the fortin EVO ONE. I can get the module to program once all the wires were hooked up under the dash but i cannot get the RF942 antenna to light up when trying to program the key fobs. is like it is not detecting it. i have tried both methods with the valet switch and cycling the key and foot brake 4 times. The only time i get a flicker from the antenna is just when you plug it in. This was pre programmed from the shop i bought it from and they dont have uch insight for me. Is it possibly a programming issue? I have gone through all my connections several times and they are all good on that end. Thanks

RFK 942 antenna not recognized by Flashlink 4 and Intermittent key fob operation

I've just installed a Evo All and RFK 942 on my 2015 GMC Sierra. No issues at all during install or programming and the system is working (sort of). The problem I'm having is this: intermittently the unit does not seem to receive commands from the remotes and/or no confirmation is sent back to the remotes. About 1/2 the time when pressing a button on the remote, I get the multiple blue LED flashes followed by the red LED and the beep indicating out of range. Or the vehicle responds but the key fob does not confirm it (no beeps or LED flashes on the key fob). It happens with both key fobs and distance from the vehicle does not matter. I can be 6 feet from the truck or 200 feet - same result (I haven't tried from any further away yet). I was thinking maybe there's an issue with the antenna and then I realized that the antenna firmware can be updated. I connected the antenna to the Flashlink 4 and it does not detect it. Does this confirm that the antenna is bad? Or am I doing something wrong? Just for context, I'm a professional Automotive Technician at a GM dealership and have some experience installing remote start systems. This is the first Fortin system that I've worked with. Edit: I tried again and managed to connect the Flashlink to the antenna. The antenna firmware is already up to date.

Will any other fobs work with fortin systems?

I'm getting an Evo one setup for my car. I was curious as to if any other RF system will work with Fortin modules. Because there are some viper systems that go up to 5 mi. While the Fortin system only does 1.1. but the Fortin systems are direct integration while the viper systems throw a whole bunch of codes.

Which fortin remotes will work together? i.e. rf642 and rf442 or do they only work with the series number? I.e. rf642 and Rf641 will work together and rf442 and rf441 will work together? Is there a guide to which ones work together? thanks jay

How do you connect a nonbranded transmitter to the evo-one? What antenna is used?

I see that the evo-one is compatible with non branded transmitters, but how does it connect to the evo-one module if it doesnt come with an antenna. The unbranded remotes, when purchased, do not come with antenna or cable to attach to module. So if I wanted to connect an Omega transmitter to my evo-one, will I have to buy a fortin antenna and cable separately or use an omega one?

I bought Fortins Rf Kit (rfk 411) after being able to program the fobs to the antina i was able to start my vehicle but only start it i wasn't able to unlock the car or lock the car with the fobs having this issue i decided to factory reset my evo and start from scratch and being able to reprogram the keys in order to reslove this issue. Adding the 7756V Remote

I undertand that if I wanted to use the Directed 7756V remote I will need to add the XL XL202 RF to Data converter to my EVO ALL.  My question is which antenna will I need to purchase in order for the 7756V remote to work.

Antenna cable RFK942

Is the antenna cable the same for all rf kits? I want to avoid ripping out my panels and just replace the antenna on the windshield using the same cable. The one I have currently there is for the RF751W or FTX-75. The cable for the RFK942 looks the same four pins connector on the web. Just want to be sure before jumping in! Thank-you!

1 of 2 RFK 912 Remote Will Not Pair to Evo-One

The vehicle is a 2017 Mazda CX-9 with EVO One previously installed. I added the RFK912 two way remotes and antenna, but only one remote programs successfully to the antenna. The second remote lights go solid blue-flashing blue five times-solid red briefly with a beep while holding the button. I have confirmed that the antenna LED is flashing blue in learn mode. After programming attempts, the vehicle does not respond to the second remote but the first one works fine. The factory remotes start the vehicle with Lock-Lock-Lock, too. I have already ensured that the EVO-One and antenna are flashed to the latest firmware.

Where to install remote starter antenna? Under rear view mirror/camera?

I have a 2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and I've successfully installed the EVO-ONE and it works perfect.  I'm now adding an RFK912 RF kit.

Where is the best place to install the antenna?

Usually it's placed at the center of the windshield behind the rear view mirror, but the RAV4 has a camera/radar box there.  Can I safely remove the box and install the antenna inside it?  Should I place the antenna outside (and next to) the box?

Also, is it easy to remove the rubber around the door frame to route the antenna wire from the main ECU area (where the remote starter is) up to the rear view mirror area?

Thanks for any help!

RF Kit and Crimestopper Teleconnect at the Same Time?

Hello,

I have the Evo-All installed in my 2011 Ford Fusion, an installation that has been in place since January of 2014.  I recently attempted to add the CRIMESTOPPER RFALL641W FM RF Add-on Kit and the Crimestopper Tele-connect smartphonne control.  I am able to program the Evo-All to "see" the RF kit (if the Tele-connect is disconnected), and I am able to program the Evo-All to "see" the Tele-connect as long as the RF antenna is disconnected.  But I am not able to get the unit to see both add-on devices at the same time.  I have flashed the unit as instructed.  If I have both connected at the same time, the RF kit works, but the Tele-connect does not.

Any ideas?  Your assistance is appreciated.

Looking for a single antenna for the rf 642w kit

I have an evo one in my car, and I plan to install one in my father's car soon as well. If I purchase an rf kit it will come with 2 2 way remotes and a single antenna. I'd like to use 1 remote per car, so I'd need another antenna and I can't find a way to purchase one. Where can I get an antenna?

2008 4Runner Evo One RF Remote/Antenna not working

I have a 2008 Toyota 4runner with an EVO One and RF642W remote. The unit is programmed for use with the RF antenna however its not communicating with the remote. The antenna only blinks one blue light when it is plugged into the evo one. Other than that I get nothing when I am trying to program remotes etc. Also, after I program the evo one, the red led light stays illuminated after it blinks when I insert the key into the ignition.

2008 g35x no longer needs OEM keyfob?

I just installed the EVO-NIST1 standalone with the Fortin RF642W RF Kit on a 2008 Infiniti G35x according to Guide 24031 and have a couple comments & questions after playing around with it:

1) LOCK x3 works with the OEM fob, however it cannot remote stop the car with LOCK x3 again. This is known, so it is not a problem.

2) After remote starting the car and unlocking it (either with door button or with either of the fobs), I can open the door, step on the brake, and I am able drive away. That works as intended, but the problem is I can drive away without having the OEM key fob around. The instrument cluster screen does not say NO KEY like it normally would if the key has left the car. In other words, one would be able to drive off without having any remote on them as long as the car gets remote started followed by an UNLOCK signal. Are remote starts intended to bypass the need to have the OEM Intelligent keyfob for the take-over?

3) While the engine is off, the LOCK signal from either the RF fob or OEM fob will lock the doors and prompt the RF antenna's LED to start flashing (blue) and will not stop unless I press the UNLOCK botton on either remote. What is this flashing for? Can this be disabled? I do not need or want any alarms or extra security features. I am more concerned about it draining the car battery. Please advise.

4) After remote starting, the first press of UNLOCK with the RF fob ONLY turns off the Antenna's flashing. I have to press unlock a second time to unlock the car, however it would unlock all four doors at once. I had configured it through Flash Link (B1 on) to unlock driver door on first press, and lock all on second press but that isn't the case. What exactly happens on the first UNLOCK that stops the antenna's LED flashes? Can I get the unlock button to unlock the doors on first press?

5) How does IDLE mode pertain to push-to-starts where the key does not need to be in the ignition? I'm guessing it is not needed but just want to be sure.

6) I had to use the RL2 connector to get remote starter to work, although the guide says RL1 for G35. This might be the issue with folks who cannot get their '07 - '08's  to remote start.
