2011 Escape used the same install configuration for both hybrid and gas?

I have a customer with a 2011 Escape hybrid. Looking up his vehicle, your website shows the same installatuion docs for both hybrid and gas....not even different flash options settings. Is this correct? #32171

Key Override All allows car to start - then shuts down

Customer has a 2006 Ford 500 and both keys at least appear to be original. At the end of the program sequence, the LED flashed very rapidly - to rapid to count - then goes solid. When remote starting, the car does start but then shuts down after 10 seconds. I thought this would be a tach issue, but if he remote starts the car with the key in the ignition (off position), it starts and runs fine. I always thought that a Ford would not start at all if the KOA was not working. Is this not correct? Any suggestions?

Can a master reset convert satnd alone to remote system?

I have a customer with an EVOGM1 standalone in a 2015 Impala. Because of the keyless entry not working while the vehicle is running, he'd like to add a Crimestopper LC1 remote/receiver. The customer does not have a flash loader, but I'm thinking that if he does a master reset, he will clear out C1/D1, the EVO will default to working via datalink and the system will work fine with the LC1. Is this correct?

EVOALL in 2011 Xterra won't lock immediately.

I have a customer with a 2011 Xterra, EVOALL, and Crimestopper RS4. Every worked fine for a couple weeks, then last week he exited the car, locked the doors, then almost immediately unlocked to go back in and the doors would not lock again - until he waited 2-3 minutes and pressed lock on the RS4 remote a 2nd time. Now the pattern persists. When he goes to lock the doors the parking lights flash but the doors do not lock. If he waits 2-3 minutes and tries again, they do lock. Any ideas?

What are the proper EVO settings for a 2012 Camry PTS Hybrid?

Flashing and EVOALL as a standalone for a 2012 Camry PTS Hybrid. C1, D1, D1.6 D4, D6.... How about D5? Anything else?

What do the lock & unlock wires do in EVOGMT3 standalone?

I'm reviewing the Install C for the EVOGMt3 and see it's calling for lock & unlock wire connections to the BCM for non-OnStar vehicles. If the customer is going to be using his OEM remotes, what do these connections accomplish? The only thing I can think of is that it's a work-around for the OEM keyless system shutting down while the vehicle is running....please advise

Can an EVO-FORT1 be programmed with one key in a 2010 Mustang using Guide 3318, program 6?

I have a customer with a 2010 Mustang, but only one key. I presume that if I use an EVO-FORT1, I can use a Flashlink to program the EVO just like I would in Guide 3318, and that the presence of the T-Harness would nothave any effect on that. Can you confirm?

Does EVOCHRT6 work with 2014 Ram 1500 gas?

The EVOCHRT6 used to be listed as compatible with the 2014 Ram....now nothing as listed past 2012. I have the EVOCHRT6 in stock, and I have a customer with a 2014 w/gas engine. Will it work, or was it taken down because there are issues?

Conflicting info: Docs 12651/12661

I sold quite a few NIST1 based on the compatibility shown in document 12661 and according to that document, the RF kit/remote start is optional - so we sold them as 'stand alones'. We had several problems with customers whose EVOs did not pick up 3x lock and later saw document 12651 which has the same exact list of compatible vehicles. but says that the remote start IS needed. Which document is correct? I have a customer with a 2009 FX50. It is listed on both installation documents. 12651 says he needs the NIST1 AND a remote start.....12551 says he only needs the NIST1. Please clarify

Is EVO-ALL compatible with the 2015 Toyota Avalon Hybrid?

I see that the EVO-ALL compatibility has been expanded to the 2015 Toyota Avalon, but the Avalon Hybrid is not specifically addressed. Is the Hybrid version of the Avalon compatible too?

EVOGMT1 worked...then stopped

I have a customer with a 2012 Equinox. He installed the EVOGMT1, everything worked fine for 1 day. Next day there was no function, no power. Checked all fuses and connections. We flashed a new module and replaced the EVO. Same problem - no power . It does not even power up to program. Suggestions?

Are the 2004 Chevy Malibu and 'Malibu Classic' the same, compatibility-wise?

I have a customer with a 2004 Malibu Classic. ifar.ca does not differentiate between the 2004 Malibu and the Malibu Classic. On the 'regular' 2004 Malibu, the EVOALL does doorlocks, oem disarm, etc. Will that also work on the Classic, or is the Classic the same as an 03 - which does nothing through data?

What do I use for a 2011 Mustang with an SA key?

I have a customer with a 2011 Mustang that has an SA key. All the solutions I see are for 40-bit. My understanding is that SA indicates an 80-but. Is there a different solution for 80-bit Mustangs?

I'm having identical problems with HondaSL3 on two different vehicles

I'm working with a 2003 Pilot and a 2013 CRV. In both vehicles the programming seems to complete normally, but the remote starts behave as if the bypass was not working. We checked all wiring - everything is correct (we do 100's of SL3's) no t-taps. Both vehicles crank, run for a second, then shut down. On the Pilot, the security light comes on after the failed start attempts. Any suggestions?

Does diesel option D1.3 generate any tach data or is it only a start delay?

I have a customer with a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee turbo diesel. We want to use an EVOCHR5 along with a CoolStart LC7 2-way remote start. The LC7 does have a tachless mode which I'm pretty sure will work fine, but is there any way to get tach data from the EVO? It looks like the only EVO setting that has anything to do with the diesel is D1.3, but that is only enabled when using the EVO as a stand alone, so I suspect it's only a start delay. Thanks!

Is there any compatibility info for the 2015 Chevy Exppress yet?

Looking for compatibility info for the Chevy Express, 2015. Also....could someone either give the document # for, or email me the manual for the EVOGMT2. I still have some in stock. sales@mypushcart.com Thanks!

EVOFORT1 is compatible with 2011 Taurus 40-bit.....is there such a thing as an 80-bit?

I have a customer with a 2011 Taurus key start. His keys do not have the normal HA/SA markings - there are no markings. I see the FORT1 is compatible with 40 bit Taurus only. Does that mean: A) There are both 40 & 80 bit, but only the 40 works or B) The 2011 Taurus is only made with 40-bit? Thanks!

Bypass for 2011 Ford Ranger, 80-Bit

I'm working with a customer who has a 2011 Ranger with the 80-bit key. EVO-RIDE only lists 40-bit in the compatibility chart. EVO-ALL sas it's compatible with that vehicle, but makes no mention of either key type in the compatibility chart. So....Which is the right module to use for a 2011 Ranger 80-bit? Thanks!

Please confirm EVO-ALL compatibility with Xterra 2013-2104

The 'select by vehicle' compatibilty tool for 2013 & 2014 Xterra returns EVO-ALL as an option and calls out revision 20140507. However.... 20140507 only shows the Xrerra up to 2012. Can you confirm that it's good for 2013/2014 too?

What exactly does the 'diesel' feature on the EVO-ALL do?

I have a customer with a 2007 Dodge Cummins diesel who wants to use the EVOCHR5 as a stand alone. I see there is a D1.3 option for Diesel Mode and then 3 different run time options. Does selecting D1.3 provide a wait-to-start delay? If so, can the length of the start delay be adjusted? Thanks!

Wire color discrepancy for 2011 Camry PTS, Gas.

I'm working with a customer who has a 2011 Camry, Push Start, non-hybrid.   He's doing an EVO-ALL Stand Alone.

We are using Guide 8551, rev 20130605.  According to the customer, the CAN LOW wire in Pin 14 is grey/white - not white as called out in the doc.   He also has two other discrepancies:

There is no wire on Pin 16.  That itself is not a problem because we're using Data-Link, but it is cause for concern as to whether the general info is accurate or not. He also has a different color iginition wire.

I saw another post from a user who also stated he had wire color discrepanices, but the thread dead-ended.

Are these discrepancies common?

Is it safe for the customer to make that CAN LOW connection at Pin 14 even though the wire color in the vehicle is white & grey?

Thanks-

RE: 2011 Focus SE. I have a customer who states his key only has a letter "H" stamped on it.

RE: 2011 Focus SE. I have a customer who states his key only has a letter "H" stamped on it. Is that a 40-bit that will work with the EVOFORT1 as a stand alone?

Does EVO-ALL work with 2011 Honda Element

In the drop-down search feature on the website, EVO-ALL comes up as the best solution for the 2011 Element. However....the EVO-ALL documentation only shows the Element up to 2010. Which is correct?
