Fortin Evo One + Honda 7 harness for 2020 Civic Type R

Hello, I'm currently having issues starting the car up currently. I have tried to reseat all the connections and double checking but after following the directions and updating my Evo One unit, my car will not detect my key fob at all. So I cannot start my car at all even with the key fob right next to the ignition start button. I can't remote start the car either, the key fob buttons do work though. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated, thank you! 2020 Honda Civic Type R (Manual transmission) Evo one + Hon7

R Link module connection

I have download the the instructions for the EVO-VWT1 with T-harness. I have updated both the flash link updater and EVO as a standalone. Looking at the instructions, I don't see where the hi and low can bus wires are used. It also does not say how to connect and program the R-Link module. The instructions said need the following connections: yellow (power), yellow/red (brake) and the two wrap wires ((white/red and white/blue. Am I missing anything else?

2008 Ford Focus Crimestopper/Evo-All

I have tripple checked all of the wiring between the two units and they all match the TIP sheet i got from MPC. the Evo-All seems to go trough all of the programming steps i bring it in and do the dycriptor and it says everything is good and happy. also all of the recommended setting are set up and saved to the Evo-All. I take it back to the car plug it back in and hit the lock button three times and the cluster comes on but the security light flashes like crazy. ive treid talking with tech support on the MPC side and they are swamped and getting a responce sucks. im going to keep digging through all of these questions from everyone else and see if i can find something but this has been a huge headache. thank you. EDIT: After i plug everything back in after dycripting the key and i try to start the car from the OEM fob the yellow light on the Evo-All stays on. it does the same if i start the car with the key. BUT if i start the car with the key and hit the lock button 3 times i can here the two modules kick on and i can pull the key out of the ignition and the car will stay running then i can hit the lock button three more times and everything will shut off.

Clutch Bypass 2018 Civic Type R

Hello, I am using an EVO ONE with the HON 7 T-Harness. I have wired everything and cannot seem to get the vehicle to remote start. I read that the clutch pedal stroke sensor needs to be open, by open does that mean I need to simply cut the red wire and leave it loose? Should it be connected to something else? Thank you for your time.

Need Another Harness for EVO ONE since Frist One was Destroyed

I have the EVO ONE installed, SN: 002B04 010831. I also installed the EV0 9 2-Way RF Kit. Today I went to move the RF antenna and wire to mount it on the windshield. When I moved the EVO One module under my dash, two wires in the EVO One harness must have shorted (12 V and Gnd most likely) and caused some of the wires to melt and get destroyed. I dont think the module is damaged. I was able to hook up the FORTIN programmer and read memory and even update the firmware to 1.25. But I need a new EVO One harness. I think I can reinstall everything back to normal with a new harness. Can you supply one and what would be the cost? Thanks, Tom Miller

2014 Transit Connect No Key

I have a different problem than the other NO KEY DETECTED questions in the forum. 1. I have a flash updater ( most current flash) 2. I checked all the wiring and voltages 3. Using the Fort1 on 2014 Transit Connect XL with no existing remote start After programming with the 2 key method, the read out says NO KEY DETECTED and the car does not start, but the car goes into run mode. After reinsterting the key, the car still will not start with the key, until the EVO is unplugged. After programming with the Dcrytor method, the Fortin Updater says there is no key data.

Request for updated install instructions - US 2015-2019 Ford Transit 150, 250, 350

There is a 3rd party selling a prewired 3x factory remote start based on the Evo-All so it would seem that the Evo-All can be wired as a stand alone (can-bus) remote start but there are no instructions for this application / US version of the Ford Transit.

See link:

https://www.amazon.com/Start-X-Remote-Starter-2015-2019-Transit/dp/B07PM8ZVNJ

Install Video:

https://d2y5sgsy8bbmb8.cloudfront.net/f71daf72-8800-4c9c-8e09-2963fdbb1b99/default.jobtemplate.mp4.480.mp4

In the installation video (2m37s) the Evo green wire (door status?) is connected to the vehicle Purple/Green described as the vehicle lock wire.  Can this connection be explained?

Also, if this is workable what would be the external trigger wire (ground to start/stop)?

For the Evo-All and Thar-For1 T harness would the following be correct?:

Yellow/Black from T harness to [A1] Yellow  on 20 Pin connector
Connect [C4] Can Low Grey/Black to Can Low on OBD II
Connect [C3] Can High Grey to Can High on OBD II
Ground Black from T harness

Looking for instructions on any other connection needed ie. lock wire (&diode) and external trigger

2019 Civic PTS Security Bypass Not Working and Incorrect clutch bypass

Issue 1: The remote starting fails to successfully start the vehicle.

During cranking the dash security indicator continously flashes, this indicator is normally only flashing when the vehicle has been locked.  The dash security indicator begins to flash after the vehicle is shut down by the remote starter (from Ready Mode) and continues to flash until the vehicle is unlocked with the remote.

Parking light flashes four times after each failed cranking attempt.

Ready mode is operating as indicated, pressing brake while engaging the parking brake, then lifting off.  One parking light flash is indicated, the Red and Ylw leds on the EVO are on, and the motor continues to run until the driver door is open then closed.  Once the vehicle is shut down the dash security indicator begins flashing.

Blue Led flashes with each Lock Key signal from the OEM fob.  After three lock signals the Red and Ylw LEDs on the evo turn on and the start sequence begins.  The dash indicators come on and the dash security indicator led remains flashing. The starter is being actuated and the engine is cranking but the car does not successfully start.

Issue 2: Opening Red Wire on 4P clutch conenctor causing VSA and parking brake errors

In addition to the HON7 t-harness, Cut3, tap on Ylw line of Clutch Position sensor, and open of Red line on Clutch Stroke sensor (type R only) has been performed.

Without the opening of the Red line on the Clutch Stroke sensor the car will not activate the starter motor during remote starting unless I manually press the clutch pedal.  Once the Red line is opened as instructed, the remote start does actuate the starter motor, but now during normal operation there are now CONSTANT VSA and PARKING BRAKE ERRORS indicators on the dash. The vehicle does run and drive but with errors.

I posted this link in my earlier question, but it appears that opening the Red line causes the VSA system to malfunction and putting a relay on the Ylw line of the Clutch Stroke sensor maybe an alternate method? I am not sure how to do this with the EVO configuration.

https://github.com/JW0914/Wikis/blob/master/Automotive/FK8%20CTR/Compustar/Alarm%20%26%20Remote%20Start%20Install.pdf

Please advise on updates or alternate configuration. My setup specifics are listed below:

Vehicle: 2019 Civic Type R PTS Manual

Bypass HW: 4 FW :3.32

Remote Starter HW:7 FW 1.24

T-harness: HON7

All reccomended options were loaded for both Bypass and Remote Start, only the Ready Mode Option was modified from 33.1 to 33.2.

The decryptor programming was performed twice with nominal LED and Flah Link Updater feedback

2019 Civic Type R Red Wire Clutch Switch Location

The EVO wiring instructions specify that the 2019 Civic Type R (Push-to start) has an addtional red wire on a four pin Clutch Switch; this wire need to be cut. I could not locate this Clutch Switch connector with a red wire in a 2019 Civic Type R (USDM) and could not find any pictures or other references to this connector location in the instructions. The only connector near the clutch assembly is the a four postion 2 wire connector that matches the docutmentation, this connector has only the yellow and black lines. Where can I find this additional red clutch wire? Thanks, Bryan
