Programing evo-all in 2013 Escape

Trying to install an evo-all with the thor-for1 t harness into a 2013 escape with standardkey start. Just want the remote start feature. Evo module came from my sons infiniti g37x. It has been reflashed with flashlink to be installed in the escape. Concerning that the flask status bar never goes over 25% beofore it "comepletes" the flash. The module will not program to the car. With the standard 2 key programing, when I get to step 8 and press and hold the program button, the vehicel never starts and the bule and red leds come back on solid. If I try the Dcryptor medthod, with either key, the red led never goes out and yellow never comes one durring the key cycle steps. if I just plug the module in w/o holdong the program button, all the leds flask as if the module is not programed. As the thor-for1 did not come with a C plug, I took the ones from the infiniti harness. however I do not have a A plug either, but not sure that is needed...?

2010 ford escape KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL

I'm installling the KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL with a DEI remote start. When I attempted to program prior, I would see the LED start flashing, but programming didn't complete. Now when I attempt to program, the LED on the module stays on and the security light on the dash flashes rapidly. I've confirmed I have 12V on Red, Ground on Black, Ignition on Yellow, and remote start staus on Blue. Is there anything else i should try on this module? The module was purchased new in December and hasn't been installed in another vehicle.

No Power to EvoAll 2008 Ford Escalp with Tharness

Hello, I have an Evo-All with a FordThar1 installed in a 2008 Ford escape for stand alone remote start. The vehicle will start and run with the Key normally, but iim not getting any power to the Evo-All. Ive verified this with a DVOM and use a second EvoAll module. Is my T Harness faulty? or is there something else ive missed?

Ford Escape will not disable RAP (retained accessory power)

I have A17 and A18 spliced into the green/purple wire at driver harness, one side 0V and other side ~11V. When driver door latch manually closed the door side of harness shows 10ohms, when door open shows OL so I know I have correct wire. How should setting be flagged?

2011 Ford Escape red light stays on during programming - SOLVED

Vehicle: 2011 Ford Escape

Evo All #001A07260304 installed with T-harness THAR-FORD4; plug-n-play install, teed connections to ignition switch, immobilizer antenna and OBDII connector; no wires spliced

Can't get the unit to program.  Process: Hold program button, plug in data cable and release on red light.  Insert key and turn on until theft light turns out.  Remove first key and insert second.  Turn on for 3 seconds, theft light goes out, turn off and remove.  Last step says to press and release programming button within 5 seconds (this is where it gets stuck).  Red light should flash 10 times and blue light should flash 10 times and ignition comes on and turns off again.  When I press the button the last time, the red light blinks and just stays on.

I've tried the firmware downgrade listed in https://fortin.ca/en/qa/92073/faq-red-led-stuck-on .  That link says to downgrade to v 0.99 but the lowest version for Ford appears to be 4.01.  I flashed 4.01, power cycled in vehicle, reflashed v 71.52, unlocked settings and reset the unit.  Still same results.

I've also tried testing the data bus.  Hold button, insert data link connector, release button on blue light.  Connected all other connections and turned key on.  Blue light stays solid.  Shouldn't it flash on data?

The yellow wire is not connected as it seems to be part of the T harness, but I've tested it for 12v on ignition and it is getting it.  I don't have the valet switch or hood pin switch connected.  What am I missing?  I'm wearing out the plugs with all these connections/disconnections.

Red light stays on during programming and wont program the keys

I hVE 2008 Ford Escape. I installed the Evo all fort4 with the the t-harness. I have installed all connectors(1,2,3) and connected a relay to the lights as instructed in step 4. I plugged the black connector in while holding the button in and then let it go when the red light came on. I put in each key for 3 seconds each and then pushed the button in. It didn't start the vehicle. Red light stayed on teh whole time. It only blinked when I pushed the button in. What causes this and how can I fix it?

EVO-ALL to Aftermarket Remote Start. What connections should I make?

I have a EVO-ALL & THAR-FOR1 T-Harness along with a Crimestopper RS7-G5 remote-starter. If I make all the (SOLID LINE) connections in the install manual including the Data Link connection, what other dotted line connections do I (have to make) or should I make to get the most of my install? Should I make those connections from the EVO-ALL and vehicle, the remote-starter and vehicle, or the EVO-ALL and remote-starter? Another confusion is the connection to the hood pin. Should i connect it to the EVO-ALL or the remote-starter or both? Thank you.

Fortin EVO-FORT4 with parking light relay throws Brake Lamp Fault

Installed EVO-FORT4 with RG642W remote kit. Added Metro E5000 SPDT relay and (2) 3-amp diodes to have parking lights come on when autostart. Everything works fine, except when using the autostart the right rear taillight is dim and get the brake light fault showing on the information center. Does not do this when just using the key to start. I do have the 12v+ with 10a fused to the relay. And the (2) 3a diodes tied to the purple/green parking lights + going to the relay. And finally the - from the relay to the brown/white to the EVO module. Any idea what is causing the dim/fault message on the display?

Anyone else had their vehicle immobilized during install?

I was installing the fort-1 in my 2011 escape and it went ok until key decryption. I updated firmware, set options and plugged it all in with the T-Harness. The evo-all would flash about 18 times with all 3 lights but then wouldn't go solid green or turn red (unless plugged into the flashlink updater) and the car would still start with the key. I connected the green and white wire to a ground and the car dinged it's standard 3note ding, and now car wouldn't start at all even after I took all the fortin wiring out. All the lights still work, and the fab will lock or unlock, but I can't move the car and it doesn't respond to the key being inserted, the dash doesn't light up when turned on, and it doesn't start (I can't even shift into neutral to move it!).... I looked up related fuses and they were fine, then checked the other fuses until my fingers about froze and they all looked good. Please help. This has been frustrating and my landlord might not like my car where it is stuck for long...

Using the Evo Start 2 with the Evo-all

Hi there, I have an 09’ Ford Escape that I have already successfully installed the Evo-all into and it now works with my oem ford key fob. I bought the Evo Start 2 and am looking to set it up in the car as well but when reading the guide it mentions an RFA2A cable that I was never informed of. Do I absolutely need this for the Evo Start 2 to function with the Evo-all? Thanks

2014 FORD ESCAPE MIN./ MANDATORY CONNECTIONS FOR REMOTE START ONLY

What are the minimum / mandatory connections for remote start only option on 2014 Ford Escape with T harness, and minimum flashlink options. The lock-lock-lock function does nothing. the lock-unlock-lock sequece will turn on the ignition, but not start. Just wanted to do something nice for my daughter that appeared to be a short project, and now a 5 hour ordeal. Don't want to cut or splice any wires I do not need to.

Power wire on an evo-all

I have a 2011 ford escape. It requires 15amp for the parking lights. The directions say the t-harness is only rated for 10amp. If you require more hook the power wire directly to the battery with the appropraite fuse. What is the power wire on the evo-all and what size fuse should i use??

where is the wire for the start/stop switch on a 2011 ford escape?

On the 20 pin connector A13 it says to connect to the start/stop external control. What wire and where is it located on my 2011 Ford escape. Also all questions about the hood pin and valet switch say to hook them up to prevent starting when the hood is open. I understand the saftey but does it have to be hooked up for the remote start to function?

Trouble Programming and Starting

Programming for a 2008 Ford Escape. I have a EVO-FORT1 and have gone through the wiring and programming instructions. When I press the button, it illuminates the instrument panel fine, but does not start. I have the CAN High and Low installed to the OBD connector correctly. I have the yellow lead from the harness crimped to the yellow lead from the 20 pin white connector. I believe this is all the is required to be wired for it to be used as a remote starter. Can you help?

2008 Escape won't shut off

Installed an EVO FORT1 with harness in my son's 2008 Escape as a stand alone and everything works perfect except it won't shut off when depressing the brake pedal or turning the key to the off position, you must turn it off by using the key fob? Rechecked the options menu and everything appears to be correct.
