How does EVO-ALL protect from CAN attack?

Hi, I recently heard about "CAN" attack. An attacker would break the headlight, and gain access to the CAN bus. Once they have access, they can have full control of the system, and will be able to unlock door and start the car. Does EVO-ALL protect from such kind of an attack? As far as I understand, EVO module also plugs into the CAN bus to manage all the functionality.

Can bus faults after 3 trouble free years

Is there any warranty on a the evo device that stopped working out of the blue? My 2014 ram broke down a couple of nights ago and the dtcs state the can bus was not ok. U0001 I removed the can high wire from evo and all issues went away and cleared. I love my remote starter and fob, is there anyway to get this module repaired or replaced ?

FlashLink connection via OBD-2 port?

Is it possible to connect the FlashLink module to the EVO-ALL via the OBD-2 connection port when a t-Harness such as the THAR-FOR3 is used? This would make connection to the EVO much faster than accessing the module to connect directly. I am assuming the CAN+ and CAN- are the communication lines that the EVO-ALL is using to interface with the Ford data bus. Thank you.

2011 Nissan Pathfinder - No Start w/o Key - Start then Killed w/ Key in Barrel

Fortin EVO-ONE w/ T-Harness. Regular (non-intel key) Summary: 1) I am trying to determine why I only get cranking & starting when the key is in the barrel 2) I suspect I'm not getting or decoding CAN data in the EVO-ONE. Details: I have installed the unit and, updated both bypass and remote start firmware via flashlink. I've also set the following options in remote start: 32.3, 2.3, 8.2. My first issue appeared when pairing the RF remote kit (RF442W). I had to manually apply +12V to the black (foot pedal brake) wire after 5 button presses in order to enter the "add remote" option. I thought brake status came over CAN bus. After issuing a remote start command, the red light on the Fortin comes on, the dash lights up, and hear relays clicking in the engine bay but no cranking. It fails after two attemps and flashes the 4x light code = no tack feedback. Same result with GWR wire grounded. If I put the key in the ignition barrel and re-attempt the test, this time the vehicle starts, but then shuts down after 3 seconds with the same no tachometer feedback error code. If I change the tachometer setting via flashlink (20.4), the vehicle will stay running. I have tried 20.1, 20.4, 20.5, 20.6 I pulled out my 2CH oscilloscope and probed the CAN pins (6 & 14). There is clearly data on the bus, though the CAN L signal has significantly higher capacitance (signal does not have hard edges like CAN H). According to the install guide, doors/trunk/brake/tach/etc should be coming into the EVO-ONE via CAN bus. I'm worried that I either have a fortin or vehicle CAN bus problem. For what it's worth, I disconnected the CAN bus wires into the EVO-ONE and got the same result. Additionally, I suspect there is another reason as to why I don't get cranking without the key in the barrel. Any additional steps or guidance appreciated.

Can bus not progrmming ford edge 2014

I had an issue sunday with this, and i received a reply about hooking up the three wires from the t-harness. that got me alot further! Tonight I hooked up the additional 3 wires from the t-harness and was able to program the unit with the keys. the blue red led flashed 10 times, then the blue led comes on by itself for a second or so then goes off. no more activity. I retried this maybe 5 times. I assumed I had an issue with the Can Bus wires, so I disconnected them verified the colors and remade new connections. same result. Also once it programs (doors lock and unlock and lights flash) when I turn the key off and remove it, the radio and dash lights stay on even after closing door and waiting a while. I assume this is a symtom.

Evo-One not programming door locks on 2013 Kia Soul (key start - uses a key)

I've installed an EVO-One in a 2013 Kia Soul (has a normal Key to start vehicle). The install was very simple, I did not that there is an error in the guide regarding the can bus. In this car, pin 6 (can high) is a blue wire, pin 14 (can low) is a red wire. Initially I had only followed the color code and the unit would not learn the can bus at all. I reversed the wires when I noticed the wires where reversed and the unit was able to learn the red (brake signal). It is not able to learn the door unlock / lock from the can bus, and during the programming sequence, I never had the flashing blue sequence to learn the door locks. I'm unsing a Fortin RF KIT 2W (RF642W). I'm able to remote start the car, but once started, the OEM remote is unable to unlock the doors ( I need to use the key in the door cylindre). The fortin RF kit is also unable to unlock / Lock the doors. I also can not stop the vehicle remotely, only by letting the time expire or pressing the break. Appreciate any help.
