Switching from Evo-start2 to Mycar

I currently have EVO-Start2 installed in my car and want to switch to Mycar due to relocating out of Ontario to British Columbia. Is it a simple plug and play, or will the Evo unit need to be reprogrammed for the new telematics?

EVO-One and Viper VSM550 2020 Toyota Tacoma H-Key

2020 Toyota Tacoma Auto, No factory alarm, H Key. Evo-One No RF kits Viper VSM550 Cellular Tried following the guides, remote start works fine, but the vsm550 did not have a green light and would not communcate with the evo-one. May have used the wrong remote start side firmware at first, i used the "recommended firmware" that flashlink told me. I think 1.25 Used the latest Bypass firmware flashlink recommended, cant remember at the moment what it was. Installed the unit with the t harnesses, made the tmps cut etc, all seemed to work as it should, realized the cell was not working, so i pulled the unit to bring inside and was going to drop it down to 0.83 which i did. However when i went to check the options for the rf kit, xl202 option was missing but checked, it show N/A along with several other options that way. Tried to flash to a different firmware and back, even tried uninstalling flash link and reinstall, didnt work. decided to flash it to my honda pilot and then go back to my tacoma but apparently at this point i am told i can no longer flash the unit. That being said, i can now see the option for xl202 again, note the option was there when i first flashed it all and took to the truck, it was only gone when i tried to drop down to .83 My main question now is: 1. can someone please unlock my unit so i can flash it back to my truck. - 002B04 008976 2. what is the correct combination of firmwares / latest firmwares for my setup, bypass side and remote start side.

EVO One and MyCar LinkrLT successfully start then immediately stop

Hi, all. I installed a Fortin EVO One about a year ago in my 2015 Nissan Rogue Select, with the applicable t-harness kit. Just to give a bit of background, I ordered my Evo pre-programmed from a reputable seller on eBay along with a DroneMobile. The Drone device was always buggy and unreliable, so I replaced it not long after with the RF642W remotes and a MyCar (Yes, I did buy the flashlink and reprogram the EVO one). When I originally installed them I was unaware I needed a diode for them both to work, so I just got around to doing that recently. My remotes have worked flawlessly from the get go, I just installed the diode today and the MyCar now paritally works. It can lock and unlock the doors, and when I send a remote start command the vehicle will lock and start, however it shuts off in about 5 seconds or less. The remotes however still work flawlessly, which perplexes me a bit. From what I've seen this normally indicates the remote start doesn't have proper engine RPM data, but I'm curious as to why the remotes would work normally and the MyCar doesn't

MyCar Programming without valet switch

How do I enter programming mode to get the MyCar module programmed without a valet switch? I have a 2013 Toyota Tundra and installed the Evo One in 2015. Everything works fine. I'm unable to get the Evo One into programming mode to accept the MyCar Telematics module (because I never had a valet switch). Is there any other way to get into programming mode without a valet switch?

MyCar Telematics starts then turns off after a few seconds

Vehicle: 2011 Toyota Corolla S (G-Key), manufactured in CAN.

Evo-One w/T-harness installed and working properly using OEM remote (3x lock to start).

When trying to start vehicle via the MyCar app, the engine will start and as soon as the doors auto lock the engine will shut off.

I have installed the MyCar Controls telematics unit based on the guide here: http://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/64631/autolink-install-guide-64631.pdf#page9

I used the HRN-LLRS-01 connector as instructed.

“Fortin 2” selected in RF section of configuration tab in FlashLink Manager.

MyCar Controls app Device Protocol: Fortin

How to power EVO-ALL and telemematics through datalink

So I poked around and couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm installing an EVO-ALL and DSM300 smartstart today and I see the EVO needs a 15A fuse for power and the smartstart module comes with it's own 3A fuse. My question is whether the smartstart can power the EVO through the datalink cable? I guess that question is whether the smartstarts 3A fuse is enough or should I go ahead and just cut the datalink cable and power the EVO separately? I think this question would apply to all telematics.
