2016 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER PUSH-TO-START KEY TAKE OVER SET-UP

Hi everyone, I plan to buy EVO-ONE and THAR-TOY-6 to install in my 2016 HIGHLANDER PUSHTOSTART. I've been reading other questions and answers about this model of vehicle. I know there is no set-up available for my vehicle to have key-takeover feature (enginer will not shut when door opened.) Can I add RF kit (or anything) to my setup to avoid the car shutting off? Thank you.

2018 Toyota Highlander PTS EVO-ALL 642W AUX does not operate power lift gate?

2018 Highlander PTS, from what I can gather there is no viable solution to the liftgate option without an EVO-ONE. The 642W/EVO-ALL just sends a pulsed output to the liftgate as far as I can tell, but it requires a latching pulse. Anyone know of any current solutions?

evo all forgetting and acting weird on 2013 toyota highlander G key

I installed an evo all with a crimestopper remote start on a 2013 toyota highlander G key with factory alarm. I followed guide #9041 with datalink and the programming went fine. I remote started the car and the trunk would randomly start opening, so I turned off option A2 and hardwired the trunk wire from the crimestopper and it all seemed to work fine until the factory alarm went off and so enabled option D2 but after testing it a few times i saw it wasnt consistantly unlocking before starting and it would do it later. So then i hardwired a factory disarm wire from the crimestopper to the purple wire in the driver kick panel and turned off option D2, I also lowered the firmware version that seemed to work until the the lock and unlock stopped working for a day or so and then started working again so i turned off option A1 and hardwired the door locks from the crimestopper. But now the customer tells me the auto headlights turned off in middle of driving!!!!! Im really lost here! Ive installed dozens of remote starts and evo one's and evo all's in all sorts of cars but i cant figure this out! It seems to work and then a day later it acts all weird and stops functioning properly.

AUX Output Wire EVO-ALL - 2017 Toyota Highlander PTS

Installed a Stand-Alone EVO-ALL with RF kit in a 2017 Toyota Highlander with push-to-start. Everything works great, but would like to be able to open the rear hatch with the remote. There is no option over CAN, but is there an output wire on the EVO-ALL that is controlled by the AUX button on the remote that can be hardwired to the hatch release? The manual does not list one.

2014 Highlander: key takeover after remote start

Does the Evo-All support key takeover for 2014-2016 Highlander yet? I notice a previous article from 2014 (https://fortin.ca/en/qa/20883/highlander-2014) says that this isn't possible without sacrificing a key. But newer pages seem to suggest that it is. I am looking for a solution for my 2014 Highlander that will not kill the engine when I open the door after remote start, without sacrificing a key. Is this possible using your product? Thanks!

EVO-One or EVO-All for 2017 Highlander? (Non-Hybrid PTS)

Hey guys, just picked up a 2017 Highlander a few days ago and Toyota said there was no remote starter available for the car from Toyota. I was wondering if it's better for me to go with the EVO-All or the EVO-One? I want to be able to use the 3x lock button. The chart on the information page doesn't really make sense to me so yeah. Thanks !

2014-16 Toyota Highlander Push-to-start (non-hybrid) Wirecolor chart issues

I paid for (Sales Order Number: 5789) and downloaded the Wirecolor chart for my 2016 Toyota Highlander Push-to-Start (non-hybrid). And the pin labels in the pictures do not match the pin numbers listed in the function listing, so it is very hard to follow. Can you please correct them and send me an updated version, since my access to this chart will disappear in 48 hours? Thank you!. Sean ONeill email - Sean@TheIrishBohemian.com

Follow-up re: TECHNICAL SUPPORT REQUEST NUMBER: 8024

I would like to provide an update on my Tech Support Request 8024, which I submitted yesterday...  I eventually did a master reset of the unit and then reloaded everything and the OEM security system issue disappeared.  So you can disregard that question.  However, I still have a question re: the Parking Light1 function for this unit on a 2016 Highlander Limited (with auto headlights and LED DRLs).  When I remote start the vehicle with the headlight switch in the "auto" position, the parking lights do not stay on after the vehicle starts, nor do the headslights, etc.  The parking lights do stay on when the headlight switch is on the "off" position though.  Is there an easy way to make the parking lights come on and stay on when remote starting this vehicle with the headlight switch is in the "auto" position, since the driver of this vehicle typically leaves the switch in that position?  Just a reminder - as I reported in my initial posting, the way the current install guide shows the Parking Light1 hook-up actually prevents the vehicle's auto headlight function from working at all.  This might be unique to the Limited Platinum model, since I believe is it the only Highlander that has the "auto" headlight and LED DRL option.

2015 Highlander Autolight and factory disarm issues

We are installing an Avital 5303 with an EVO ALL module. When the vehicle is remote started, it works great, but the factory alarm honks while the vehicle is preparing to remote start and then stops, obviously due to ignition and smart key = factory disarm. Even with D2 programmed on the EVO ALL, it does not stop this. If I use the factory alarm disarm wire during remote start, the vehicle unlocks and remains unlocked. I guess I will have to hardwire the factory alarm disarm wire, even though the EVO instructions say that this issue will be corrected by enabling D2. In addition, the customer always leaves their auto lights on. If you shut down the remote start, the lights stay on indefinitely, until a door is opened and closed. Does anyone know how to correct this?
