2018 Subaru Impreza Regular Key with T-harness - Evo-ONE 3x Lock doesn't work

Hi Guys. I have a 2018 Subaru Impreza Premium trim with regular key start. I have updated EVO ONE to the latest software (both, Bypass and remote options), selected recommended options from the latest manual. After connection all the wires and harnesses today (i have used a T-harnes for the ignition) . After programming the EVO-ONE successfully, I went home, ran Decryptor, then waited for the update to finish, and unplugged when the message said it is save to do so. Went to the car, hooked all harnesses back and... car doesn't respond to 3x Remote start. It would start normally with the key and all functionality is there, just doesn't remote start. Please, advice. P.S. I did cut the yellow loop for Automatic Transmission, but have changed 1 option in remote settings to have the car on only for 7 minutes. Also, I didn't connect the hood pin switch, because I never work under the engine bay and in my previous fortin installs it worked fine without it Thank you, Michael

RED/WHITE wire is not present on this vehicle.

Is there an updated instruction guide?

Update: 07/14/2018

I just found the IMO wire.  It is the White/Lt.Blue wire on the 20 pin grey connector, on the back of the fuse box.  WireColor.com lists it as the "Body Integrated Unit, connector Q, 20 pin connector, pin 14, White/Lt. Blue"

This White/Lt.Blue wire is much easier to get to than the  "Red/White wire on the green 20 pin connector, on the Junction Connector" that is listed in the THAR-ONE-SUB1 THARNESS Installation guide, Rev. 20180627.

Maybe Fortin can update this Installation Guide to include a Note that says:

"if the Red/White Wire is not present on the Junction Connector, then use the White/Lt.Blue wire on the grey 20-pin connector on the back of the fuse box."

The installation was a success and the Remote works great.

Nissan Rogue 2009 with Intelli-Key and Evo-One 3xLock

Hi, Fortin support. I'm planning on installing Evo-One (standalone 3xLock remote start, no T-harness) into 2009 Nissan Rogue with Intelli-Key. I have a couple of questions before I proceed: a) If the car is remote started would it still keep the car locked? b)Once car door is opened, would it kill the engine? If not, would it be fine to just insert key to On position, press brake pedal and drive right away? c) Will proximity sensor function the same way after install? d) Car has a factory alarm, but since Evo-One module detects door lock signal via CanBus, will I need to tap into Arm/Disarm wires of the car ? EVO-One + Thar-Nis2 standalone, parking light and tumbler connections

I used guide #17763 Rev. 20150121 on a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder with Intelli-Key. I did not make any connections for the parking lights as it is not shown in the guide. The parking lights are not coming on when I remote start with 3x lock. The install guide for the unit without the harness (#17233) shows connections and a relay for the parking lights. Do I have to install the relay and make the connections or are the lights controlled through CAN and just aren't working? Also, in tesiting I have noticed that if someone is in the vehicle when it is remote started they can turn the tumbler to ON and drive away without unlocking any doors or having the Intelli-Key in or near the vehicle. I made the following connections to the tumbler: white/red to red/blue - 12v white/blue with diode to red/blue - key sense another wire with a didoe spliced to white/blue before it's diode and going to red/white - tumbler sense I am not having any problems with it locking up but was wondering if it is normal that the tumbler can be turned without the key being in the vehicle. Could it be a backward or faulty diode or have I made a mistake in the wiring? One more note: the darkblue wire from the EVO that is to be connected to the doorpin wire for the autolight shutdown was causing the engine to shut down when the door was opened. I noticed that after a remote start the door open indicator was on then I cut the dark blue wire and that solved the problem. Function 32-2 was enabled as per the install guide. Not sure if this could be a wiring issue or an issue with the install guide or firmware. Thanks for your help.

2009 Toyota Camry bypass immobilizer recomendation

Hi. I'm installing a remote starter into a 2009 Toyota Camry. Which unit will you recommend for this car to act as an immobilizer bypass, I'd pick Evo-All, but it doesn't control anything thru the CanBus (except for acting as an immobilizer), so I'm debating between Evo-Key or Evo-Ride? Thanks

2004 Honda Accord - evo-all installation question

Hello, Fortin support!

I'm planning to install an Evo-All module into a 2004 Honda Accord, and using Connection 1 per manual (page 5), http://fortin.ca/download/15731/evo-all_honda_acura.rev-20140509.pdf

I am confused, because White/Red and White/Green wires of 6-pin Red connector, both say "Relay 2" (Please, see attached picture).

Should each of these wires be wired thru a separate relay? If so, how should it be done?

Please, advice.

2009 Hyundai Santa Fe with Evo-all and Crimestopper RS7-G5

I am planning to install remote starter in a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe and want to combine Evo-all with a Crimestopper RS07-G5, but have a few questions before I proceed:

a) As you can see from the picture below, (~)Data wire in pin 6 is absent. Does it mean for SURE that the car is not equipped with an immobilizer bypass?

b) Will I still need to tap to Door Lock/Unlock wires from RS07-G5 harness or Evo-All CanBus will take care of doors Lock/Unlock? 

c) How will Evo-All be powered?

d) According to Connection 13 of the Evo-All guide (page 18 of 46), I will need to connect Black wire=>Foot Brake status, Pink wire=>Tachometer and Dk.Blue wire=>(-)While Running to corresponding wires on  the Crimestopper Unit and Yellow Wire=>Car's Ignition.  Does it mean that I will not need to use any other wires on the RS07-G5 unit if I interconnect these two with a Data-Link Cable?

Evo-All Alarm System - G1 & G2

First, I'd like to thank team Fortin for not giving up on my installation. I've finally come true and made 3x Lock remote start a success on my Toyota 2010 Highlander Hybrid PTS. I have a different dilemma: Why would Evo-All have Alarm options (G1, horn/siren and G2, chirp confirmations) if it doesn't work? Do I need to hook up Green wire to the Horn wire in the car? I don't have an alarm system in the car and all I want is an audio (horn) confirmation on lock/unlock pulses. Also, if you have specific knowledge where horn wire is located in the same car, 2010 Toyota Highlander PTS Hybrid? I multimetered many wires and couldn't get a pulse at all. Wire Color is not very helpful, since they say (-)Horn - gray wire at fuse box. which fuse box, where is it located? Thanks a bunch, Michael

2003 MAZDA PROTEGE SECURITY ?

THERE IS NO BYPASS LISTED FOR 2003 MAZDA PROTEGE. IS THAT BECAUSE THERE IS NO BYPASS REQUIRED AND WE CAN JUST INSTALL A REMOTE START KIT ? OR BECAUSE FORTIN DOES NOT MAKE ONE FOR THIS MODEL ? THANKS, CHARLIE

Evo-all Standalone doesn't program on 2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid PTS

I have installed Evo-All in my 2010 Toyota Highlander PTS Hybrid today and could not program the unit. a) Can-High wire is not Blue (as per manual), it is Black b) I couldn't find Ligh Switch Harness, so I didn't connect that wire c) When I hold programming button and insert data plug, unit alternates between Blue, Red, Yellow colors indefinitely and Blue light didn't turn solid Blue. So I released programming button when it was blue and it stayed solid blue d) Step 4, pressing PTS button twice didn't start the car Unit is updated to 79.20 firmware version, all A options are ON, C1 and D1 are ON, D1.6 - 15 minute runtime is ON, D4 is ON. Everything else is OFF. Please, Help. Thank you, Michael

2010 Honda Element with Evo-One, separate remote starter needed?

This is confusing, since 3x lock remote start isn't compatible with any Honda vehicles, but once you put Honda Element 2010 as your vehicle, http://fortin.ca/en/vehicles/honda/element/2010/ and scroll down to Remote Starters features, there is a green check mark under Evo-One. Can I program my original key fobs to remotely start the car with Evo-One or do I need a separate remote starter module? If I do need a separate remote starter module, then what is the advantage of Evo-One over other immobilizers? Thanks
