The Remote Start Will Only Work If The Key Is In The Barrell

It is hit and miss starting this Auto Start remote starter. I took it in to get it looked at and the guy hands me the Fortin Transponder Box (TBGM2) and says I need to buy a whole new Remote Starter for $550. However, now that he took this transponder box out the remote starter will work but only if the key is in the barrell or more so you can see the lights on the dash come on and it try to "click/crank" and if you put in the key or take the key out it will start right away. So is my problem just a new transponder box? The key has a circle with a cross inside .Seems odd that this Remote starter is a complete write off.

Key Fob and Cluster

2007 A4. The key fob and instrument cluster was not original. So the immo cause the vehicle not start (cranks only). Can anyone recommend which one to purchase to defeat or bypass the immobilizer to get the vehicle to start?

Car attempts to start but does not crank

2015 Honda Accord coupe ex. It has been programmed correctly. Using a T-harness the Thar-one-hon3. It's a manual transmission with push to start and I put the car in ready mode using foot brake and E-brake. Both red and yellow led on module come on when there are supposed to but after pressing my OEM remote 3 times it appears to start but will not crank. I'm about to return this and seek another option. Any help is appreciated.

Evo one with ftx64w 2way kits. Hyundai elantra 2009

Mine will crank and start only if oem key mounted. If not mounted will crank but won't start. Please help Thanks

No crank when using remote start or using the key to start car

I updated the Evo one module to the current firmware and went ahead and re program process,during re programming process where I release programming button when blue/red led them plug in the rest of connector then 6x press programming button then red/blue blinks 5x when I try to start car it does not crank at all. also it does not let me do the dcryptor it says it has reach maximum limit. now I can't even start the car with the key,no crank at all.please I really need help,thank you.

why doesn't evo one crank engine long enough

have evo one in a 2003 gmc yukon xl, have had the unit for a while with the drone module with no issues. now when i try to use it the vehicle goes through the start sequence but only turns the engine over a 1/2 revolution causing a no start. nothing has changed electrical wise. Help please, its getting cold

2014 Transit Connect short crank, not long enough to start

remote start will only work when key is next to barrel ?

toyota 2010 rav 4 evo one with out t harness basically the evo one is not emulating the transponder please help is ther anything i can do to fix this or do i need to buy a evo key module to emulate the immoblizer everything work just fine but remote start will not start the car it will just crank ....unless i put the key nest to the barrel then it will start

2005 Honda Civic Cranks when brake is pressed after its already been remote started

Installed EVO-One with 2-way Fortin RF Kit on a 2005 Honda Civic as per the manual. Found that when vehicle is remote started and you get in to drive away, once you turn the key and press the brake to take it out of gear the vehicle trys to crank again? Here is the sequence of events: Remote start vehicle - vehicle starts successfully unlock door and get in vehicle turn key to run position press brake to put into gear - this is when the starter motor is engaged and trys to crank again The oddest part is that this only happens once every few remote starts not consistantly. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
