Trouble Programming and Starting

Programming for a 2008 Ford Escape. I have a EVO-FORT1 and have gone through the wiring and programming instructions. When I press the button, it illuminates the instrument panel fine, but does not start. I have the CAN High and Low installed to the OBD connector correctly. I have the yellow lead from the harness crimped to the yellow lead from the 20 pin white connector. I believe this is all the is required to be wired for it to be used as a remote starter. Can you help?

I have gone through the help section it will start with key in barrel.

i have worked my way through the troubleshooting section i can get the car to start with the key in the barrel. but will not start without the key in the barrel.

Evo Start 2 Issues Continued

Hey there, I installed the Evo start 2 with my evo all several weeks ago (in a 2009 Ford Escape) and it has been working as expected. The only issue is after I first installed it, it seemed to consistently send me back a confirmation “engine on” in the iOS app above the start button. Now when I remote start it, it rarely sends me back that confirmation (seems to only do it if I’m really close to the vehicle) and I have to walk across campus to my car and just hope that it started (usually it does but sometimes it doesn’t) Any idea what would cause this? There’s also an area on campus if I park my car where it refuses to remote start via the app. It’s right below a residence building with a ton of cellphone towers on it. I’m wondering if that could be the issue in that specific spot? (Seems to work fine verywhere else though, except for that confirmation engine on issue) Thanks

Factory alarm not disarming with remote start

Vehicle 2013 Ford Explorer Remote Start / Alarm - Viper 5901 EVO All - with THAR FOR 1 T- harness EVO All service # 001A06 265528 Current firmware 71.10 Everything works when the vehicle is disarmed. When factory alarm is set "ON" the remote start will start the car and then turn off imediately and the alarm goes off. I was told that I do not need option 12 selected to "ON" So I have not tried that with firmware 71.10. I did try it with firmware 71.11. I was also told to try firmware 71.05 but that did not work . Everything is hooked per the diagram for the THAR FOR 1

2010 Taurus Sel Programming Fail

I have a 2010 Ford Taurus and the Evo-Fort1 with the Thar-Ford1 i have hooked up all the wires in the t-harness to the ingnition and the immobilizer. The unit says its loaded with .31 firm a min of .27 must be loaded. I have pushed the program button stop on red light and hook up all the rest of wiress and then try to put keys in and wait for 3 sec for each one but no lights flash on the box nothing happens i have teid to contiune by pressing the program button and hold it but nothing happens.

2016 ford transit 250 t harness not available yet for the evo all?

Was told by one of distribution dealers (Clutchfield) that the t harness-with plugs for the evo all is not available yet for the 2016 ford transit, needs to be all spliced in,if so when will it be?

Using the Evo Start 2 with the Evo-all

Hi there, I have an 09’ Ford Escape that I have already successfully installed the Evo-all into and it now works with my oem ford key fob. I bought the Evo Start 2 and am looking to set it up in the car as well but when reading the guide it mentions an RFA2A cable that I was never informed of. Do I absolutely need this for the Evo Start 2 to function with the Evo-all? Thanks

2012 ford flex wont program

I have a 2012 Ford flex. 80 bit SA keys. service # 001a06251596. Running t harness in standalone mode. When I start the program process, I get the confirmation in step 4. However, when I get to step 14 the red and blue stay illuminated. At this point, if I start the vehicle with the key and turn it off, it will stay running. It will not shut off with the foot brake, It will only shut off if I unplug the evo-all.

Why is PATS signal not recognized on 2000 Crown Victoria?

Installed an EVO-ALL on my 2000 Ford Crown Victoria along with a Compustar CS800-S. Double and triple checked all my wiring. I am using the D2D connection between the 2 modules, I have A1 tied into Brown/Pink at ignition switch which has power in RUN and START. A8 tied to Black GWR wire on the CS800. A10 and A20 tied to Grey/Orange and White/Light Green respectively on the connector halfway up the column(not at the cylinder). No other connections made on Evo-all. Door locks and trunk work as designed and the vehicle cranks as expected. I was also able to program the EVO-ALL as described in the PROGRAM 1 section: -Enter programming mode with D2D connection and then plug in Connector A. Cycle first key for 3 seconds(the yellow light also turns on at this point and stays on with the red.) -Remove key and cycle same key again.Red light flashes 10 times and both lights turn off. -Remote start. Vehicle cranks but theft light flashes and no start. Everything seems to have gone smoothly except when trying to remote start, the theft light flashes and engine does not start. The red light on the evo all does light up during remote start and turns of when I depress the brake pedal. I disconnected the RX and TX and performed remote start with the key in the cylinder(but off) and the engine started. Reconnected RX and TX and provided dedicated ground on the GWR wire and still no start. Ideas?

Can't get parking lights to work

I have a 2012 Ford escape using a EVO All with Tharness 3button remote start is working but cannot get the parking lights to work. I have tapped the wire and put power to it and all of the parking light come on just can't get the evo all to light them. Do i need to program the evo all?

CANBUS Remote Start

Is it possible to trigger a remote start through the CAN-BUS (HS-CAN or MS-CAN)? 2012 Ford Fusion. Goal is to use a ELM327 OBDII Bluetooth adapter (modified to include MS-CAN) and an Android phone, sending a request to the CAN-BUS that would trigger the remote start (or the EVO-ALL). I know I could tie into the Yellow/Black wire off teh EVO-ALL and feed it negative but that would require me to include a relay system in between that I would like to avoid. Any assistance is greatly apprectiated.

Vehicle doesnt shut off unless the lock 3x is used or timer runs out. 07 ford edge

I followed the install instructions and programmed with two keys, and the it'll start, but I either have to way until the timer runs down or hit lock 3x. 2007 ford edge with evo all standalone.

Evo-All ForT1 71.28 F150 C1, D1 BCM wiring color guide wrong. Is pass side BCM (not shown in picture) wire colors different from BCM drivers side wire colors shown in diagram?

2013 Explorer wont complete programing

installed EVO-FORT 1/EVO RS to EVO ALL specifications found on web site, on 2013 ford explorer standard key, everything appears fine untill the final program step, when doing final flash the blue ligt blinks 10 times as it should, but instead of going off then goes to a constant yellow light? Ive cross checked wiring mulfibple times, I have verified 12amp power at the yellow wire and still nothing? any help would be greatley appricatied.

Ford Edge will not start

Evo-all, Service #001A106 607958, hardware version 6, date 01/2016, Firmware 71.35, C1 and D1 ON. Stand Alone with T harness. 2013 Ford Edge, no hood pin or auto lift gate. Wiring installed per guide 34421. Installed all 20 pin connector wires as shown in guide including A17 and A18 with exception of A14, hand brake. I am unclear where or what the relay is, I did find a fuse relay 85 but it is empty and not used. Spoke to tech support and was told that this was not needed. During programming all goes as plan through step 8, first key second time, red and blue lights flash (did not try to count how many times so I am not sure if 10 times, but looked good). The blue light comes on and then turns off before I remove the key (thought this was the issue so I removed key faster before the blue light went out and this did not help solve the problem. 3X remote activates locks, check engine light comes on, car does not start. When I key start the car it will not turn off until I remove the data connector. This seems to get so close to working that I am sure it is a minor fix, loose connection, but I am not sure where to concentrate my fix.

EVO-FORT1 Starts, then stops 2011 Ford Taurus SEL

EVO-FORT1 just installed on a 2011 Ford Taurus SEL. Car remote starts and runs for several seconds, then shuts off. Starts a second time, same thing, shuts off after severall seconds. I notice that about the time it shuts off is when the dash instruments start to power on. It seems like they power on late. I am wondering if it is trying to read the tach and because the dash powers on late (or at least seems late) . . . it thinks the car isn't running. Just a guess. Anyone experienced this before? Any ideas?

i push lock 3 times blue light blinks 3x but no start. i try yellow and blaCK to grnd , no start . i went over all wire connections twice. they are good.. please help..

2014 focus regular key Evo-All keeps losing key info

I installed a Evo all with t harness into a 2014 Ford focus with regular key to start. Everything worked fine no issues. 2 weeks later customer came back. Everything works fine except car won't start. Double checked all connections and found no issues. Reflashed Evo all reprogrammed with both keys. Once again everything worked fine. A week later customer came back with same issue. Flashed a new Evo all and reprogrammed with both keys once again. Everything worked fine. 2 weeks later same issue. Checked all connections again replaced evo all and programed everything worked fine. Its been a few weeks now and customer is booked in again for same issue. This is not the first time I have had this issue with other year makes and models. I'm tired of removing the remote starter and bypass and installing a whole new starter and other brand bypass. Does anyone know why this issue keeps happening? Why does this vehicle keep losing key info? has any other installers had this issue with other vehicles losing key info and having to reflash bypass? i am using Astra 300, Astra 1000/4000, and Galaxy 2000/5000 remote starters.

What is the power wire on an evo-all

Does anyone know the power wire on the evo-all? My lights require more than 10amps. The directions say if they require more than 10 amp to wire from battery to the power wire. It doesnt state or show on the directions what wire this is.

2016 Ford Focus regular key will not program - tried 2 keys and decrypter

Have a 2016 Ford Focus regular SA key. Got it all hooked up and it will not program the evo-all as a 3rd key. Ive done the 2 key programming at least 10 times. Reset the unit, resaved the options. Tried decrypter 3x with one key. It will not program... Is it possible that the RX / TX wires are incorrect in the guide for this car? I've done a directed DBALL2 on same year car before, no problems programming it, but the install is pain in the ass. Out of 30 remote starts Ive done in past couple months I've never had this problem. I've double checked the connection at the immobilzer. LT BLUE/BLACK and LT BLUE. Everything is good. The keysense wire checks out perfectly. When I do 2 key programming at the step where I press the button on the evo-all. RED and BLUE blink few times, then red goes solid. CAN-BUS then shows good with the flashing blue light. Try remote start and it says of course no key detected. What the hell am I missing?

2014 Ford Explorer Sport PTS

I have purchased a cm6000 and evo-all. I noticed the guide only goes up to 2013. I entered the vehicle info in the flash link updater and updated the evo firmware. Wondering if the latest recommended firmware will support this vehicle. Build date 01/14. Or should I wait for a definite install guide to be released. Thanks
