Thinking out loud about this 2008 Focus install

I saw a couple of other manufacturers have a T-Harness that works with the 2008 Focus, but not Fortin's.  I also noticed that the FORT1 is compatible with the 2008 Taurus.  So I pulled up the install sheets:

https://fortin.ca/download/107381/EVO-ONE_IG_REG_BI_FOR-FOCUS_2008-2009_A_107381.pdf
https://fortin.ca/download/95201/EVO-ALL_IG_RTS_BI_FOR-TAURUS-2008-2010_KEY40bits_A_95201.pdf

The ignition connectors appear to be the same form factor and the same pinouts, but different wire colors.  Just wondering if someone could perhaps review this and see if this would change the install options at all?  Like using the THAR-FOR1 with the EVO-ONE?  Or possibly being able to use the EVO-FORT1 or FORT4?

I do see that the Focus install has a Disarm wire connection that is not present on the others.  The other guide for reference is here

Appreciate it!

Remote start needs to be enabled on a 2008 Focus?

Looking into doing an install on a 2008 Focus. Came across this thread: https://fortin.ca/en/qa/103382/09-focus-remote-start-works-great!-However-the-heater-fan-does-not-run-untill-the-key-is-turned-on./ Wondering if one of the Fortin guys can verify if Forscan is needed or not. Haven't come across this before.

Red light stays on during programming and wont program the keys

I hVE 2008 Ford Escape. I installed the Evo all fort4 with the the t-harness. I have installed all connectors(1,2,3) and connected a relay to the lights as instructed in step 4. I plugged the black connector in while holding the button in and then let it go when the red light came on. I put in each key for 3 seconds each and then pushed the button in. It didn't start the vehicle. Red light stayed on teh whole time. It only blinked when I pushed the button in. What causes this and how can I fix it?

2008 Ford Expedition driver door pin wire location?

I am trying to locate the driver door pin wire on the driver's side.  I even cut a wire I was sure was it, only to find that the door chime still went off when I closed the door.  I obviously don't know how to test this correctly

I tried disconnecting the two harnesses that are in the driver kick panel that are smaller, neither of them seemed to have any effect when disconnected them and closed the door, the chime still stopped.  So it must be in the large connector with the bolt through it, or somewhere else?

In the guide, its says "see diagram", but I can't find one in there to save my life.  I would prefer to stay on the Driver's side since I don't have any wire handy to fish over to the SJB.  Of course, at this point, I would take the SJB diagram, but can't find it.  Thanks for your help!

2008 Ford Mustang. Can I use obd pins 6 and 14 for CAN bus instead of 3 and 11?

Just wondering if I can use OBD2 pins 6 and 14 for CAN bus comms with my EVO-All on my 2008 Ford Mustang. Not sure pins 3 and 11 as stated in guide are communicating properly. No door lock/unlock etc.

Correct Options for Evo-One Standalone Remote Start - 2008 Ford Fusion

I have installed an EVO-ONE into a 2008 Ford Fusion. This is NOT a T-harness install, as no T-Harness is available for this model. Connections include Yellow A1 to Pink E5, which in turn is connected to the ignition wire at the key cylinder block; Lt. Blue / Black A10 and Lt. Blue A20 to PATS RX and TX, respectively, at the PATS ring block; Green/White A17 and Green/Red A18 to the respective ends of the LF door trigger pin circuit; Orange E2 to the Accessory wire at the key cylinder block; Yellow E6 to the start wire at the key cylinder block; and E3 and E4 to 12V constant live and ground connections, respectively. Gray/Black C4 is connected to CAN LOW at the OBDII connector, and Gray C3 is connected to CAN HIGH at the OBDII connector. I have double-checked all wiring and confirmed correct connections throughout. I flashed the EVO-ONE bypass side to Firmware 71.[18], and have set function 31 to option 4. Upon initial post-installation test, I set the LED on the face of the EVO-ONE to "Blue," and got the quick flash when turning the ignition key. Holding the key to the PATS ring and remote-starting the vehicle, it started for a second and then shut off. I have not had any success in performing the two-key programming procedure. The LED remains red, and I do not get the expected LED changes when inserting the first and second keys as directed. I'm assuming I have a configuration issue of some sort, and I'm hoping someone can offer some insight. I have loaded the "suggested settings" in Flash Manager and have saved those to the EVO-ONE, but am stuck at getting the vehicle to remain started during the initial test. Thanks, in advance, for your help!

Yellow light on EVO-FORT1 on solid

Installing EVO-FORT1 on a 2008 Ford Escape. EVO firmware 71.37. Flashlink Manger 3.62. Stand alone installation. Evo programmed correctly but when the red connector is plugged in after the decriptor process was done, ignition turns on and yellow light on EVO is solid. Blue light on EVO flashes with key fob lock and unlock buttons are pressed. C1 and D1 are on as well as F2.

I have a 2008 Ford F250 with a 6.4 diesel i would like to add remote start. When i check on your site it says you do make a compatible system but when i go to Crutchfield to order it tells me the system is not compatable? If the system is compatable what system and componets will i need to purchase to make this work?
