Would not command start with diode installed on ignition wire, removed diode now command start works.

Installed an auto start command start with Fortin evo-all bypass with correct connection, software version and successful programming of the module tach is also learned. With the diode installed the command start attempts to start but does not turn over. I removed the diode and now it works fine. Could I possibly have a bad diode? And what is the purpose of the diode? I released the vehicle to the customer just wondering if I should get it back in to reinstall another diode and retest.

2011 Jetta Diode Installation

I am installing an Evo-All with a T-Harness and a bypass transponder in a 2011 VW Jetta with a standard key. The directions are stating to install a diode if the vehicle requires push brake to start. My vehicle does require this feature and I am trying tio understand how the diode is wired. The T-Harness directions are the only directions that show a diode in this circuit. Is the diode wired in series of the D2 wire (yellow/blue) at the Evo-all and the T-Harness? Is the T-Harness bypassed on this circuit and the diode is installed in series directly from the D2 wire (yellow/blue) to the BCM B3 (Black/Red)? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Diode installation question

On the stand alone installation instructions it shows 3 diodes being used on 3 ignition wires. So all 3 diodes need to be combined together and then soldered to -Ignition wire from the evo all?

How do you hook up door locks in 2004 Toyota Highlander?

There is the Purple unlock wire, Gray lock wire, and the brown wire. In order to lock the vehicle it says you need to break the brown wire, and in order to unlock the vehicle, you need to send a pulse the brown in addition to the purple. I was looking around and wirecolor says to use a relay. I hooked the relay up to break the brown wire using the door lock to pulse the relay and isolated the brown wire with a 3 amp diode. The unlock works perfect, but in order to lock i need to press it 3 times in order for it to lock. does anyone know the proper way to set this up as I must have something wrong

2013 Nissan Murano Evo-All Standalone sometimes no key and transponder picture in display when remote starting.

Hello, I have a 2013 Nissan Murano with the evo-all acting as a standalone remote starter. When attempting to remote start, sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not. The times it does not, on the vehicles display it comes up as "no key" and then switches to an image of no key in the transponder port. Does this have anything to do with installing a diode? I see on the PDF install guide under parts listed is one diode, but it is not shown anywhere in the schematic on where to install said diode.
