problem with the cluster going crazy

On my 2014 ram 1500 I have the evo all hooked up everything was working fine for bout a week now all of a sudden the cluster started going nuts putting on air bag light and engine light along with others that flickered now truck will not stay running with evo all plugged in I unplug unit and truck runs fine except engine light still on anyone had this problem

"2011 ram 1500" connecting "Encore E9" alarm with EVO-ALL and THAR-CHR4 compatiable?

Hi, is the EVO-ALL compatible with an Encore E9 alarm? I plan on installing this in a 2011 RAM 1500. would i follow the regular Guide # 46661 with Data-Link? is there a setting to enable for the data-link? F2? Thank you!

not programming?

I'm trying to program my EVO-ALL for my 2016 Dodge Ram with the tip start key. After pressing the programming 4x and the light turns to solid yellow it says "insert key" and the light should turn to red.  I insert the key and nothing happens.  I've flashed the module to 74.37 and still nothing.  I have master reset it and also programmed the can-bus  and the blue light stays solid on canbis programming. Any ideas?

Remote programming for ftx25

After a problem with my ram ignition wireless module, the dealer change it but now one of my remote from the ftx25 works only one way, no green light confirmation so I'm trying to pair/sync this remote (Battery of the remote are news). I found the exact procedure here: https://fortin.ca/download/28441/evo-one_ftx25_quick_install_guide.rev-20150202.pdf I enter the programming mode, flash, confirmation with 11 push etc but I'm not able to succeed...or I succeed but the problem is somewhere else. it was working fine before... 2014 Ram 1500 crimestopper revo 1.1 hangs on yellow when programming remote

installing a revo 1.1 remote starter on my Fortin Evo All unit chrt6 on my 2014 ram 1500. when programming the remote units i unplug the power cable. hold program button and plug power cable back in. i get a solid red and solid blue. i press the program button and hold until the blue and red lights flash out and come back on. I put the key in the ignition and turn to run position i get a solid yellow. red and blue are still lit. when i push the button on the remote unit to pair to module the red and blue light are suppose to blink to acknowledge the remote unit has been programmed. on my unit the red and blue light go out and only the yellow light remains on. firmware 74.37. In my flash link setting under data protocols everything is greyed out i cannot select F2

2012 RAM 2500 gas wont flash blue to program

I recieved the EVO-ALL CHRT4 remote start unit that was supposed to be already programmed by the vendor. After splicing the yellow wires together and installing the unit. I cannot get the unit to flash blue when the key is in. My firmware version on the unit is 74-19 but my invoice from the seller says 74-22 which is the most recent im guessing. Do i need to reprogram or change something in the setup on this unit?

2017 Ram 1500 Tip Start, Will Not Remote Start

Details: 2017 Ram, Gas, Tip Start, CHRT6, OEM Remote Flashed with standalone, T-harness, with built in alarm, 74.[37] firmware, 6.0 hardware. No hood pin, valet switch, or parking lights connected. C1 and D1 enabled, #8 blue wire does not turn red when grounded. Everything seems to be installed correctly. The key programs without issues. Flashes without issues. The blue light falshes each time the lock button is pushed. The yellow light comes on when it is started with the key. Problem: When I attempt to remote start (3x lock button on the EOM remote) nothing happens on the unit or in the truck. No attempt to start, no dash lights, nothing. Any advice?

2016 Ram 1500 dash lights up but no crank

Hooked up all the wires per user manual. Everything on the key works fine, lights on the dash come on when I hit the lock button 3x but I get no crank.

i get all the way to step 5 where i have to insert the key then it should turn red but it doesnt it just stays yellow i when back to step 1 like it said and started over like 10 times still the same

service #001A06 506999 firmware 74.24 evo all and thar-chr6 with astrostart remote evo programmed properly when remote starting evo red light turns on but doesnt crank or start ignition not turning on. evo is not getting ign signal from remote (diode installed as per diagram). when i supply evo with ign on yellow wire truck starts and runs. yellow wire is also connected to pink/green wire on truck. is this a diode issue? with diode installed properly the evo wont recieve ign signal from remote.

How long should the delay be for diesel mode?

How long should the delay be when operating in Diesel mode? My unit only gives about an 8-10 second delay which is not enough time for the grid heater in cold weather. Wondering if a master reset or software update would fix this or if that is as long as the delay is? Others I have talked to with this unit reported longer delays. 2014 Ram 1500 Tradesman shuts down on key takeover.

I just recently installed a Crimestopper LCPro-4 with an EVO-ALL interface module on my brother-in-law's 2013 Ram 1500 Tradesman. The installation and programming all went smoothly, however I noticed a couple of problems. Problem 1: The truck does not stay running if you remote start it, insert key and turn to the 'run' position, and step on the brake. I double-checked my wiring to make sure everything was connected to the right places. After the truck shuts off with the brake pedal, there's a small delay (1 second) then the instrument panel lights back up. I can also hear relays clicking inside either the Crimestopper or Fortin modules when this happens - I haven't determined which module's relays are clicking, as they are secured together under the dash. Problem 2: I programmed the EVO-ALL with my Flash Link Updater 2 so that we can have driver's door priority unlocking. All of the doors still unlock when the unlock button is pressed on the Crimestopper remote. It has power windows/locks/mirrors, but did not come with keyless entry from the factory. My BIL has owned it since new, and the window sticker does not indicate keyless entry as an option or standard feature, either. Any ideas what might be happening? 2012 RAM 1500 doors lock, but no start.

First I would like to know if my key(FOB) will work with the EVO all. I got the EVO-CHRT4, does that come preprogrammed for a 2012 Ram 1500, or do i need to flash it?  Do I need a hood pin?  I connected the yellow cable which fixed my first issue of no blinking blue light.  The doors will lock and unlock, but no start on 3x lock.  I saw on one forum to try a lock-unlock-lock sequence.  I have not tried that yet.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Evo-CHRT4 vs Evo-All vs Evo-One

Once installed what is the difference between the Chrt4, ALL, or ONE - besides thE CHRT4 has a T harness?

 I have a 2012 Ram 2500 Diesel Automatic with the remote start module installed already so I just need the module and harness minimum. I will program it to have glow plug/heater delay and crimestopper REVO enabled with the flasher2. Is there a fee for the crimestopper enableing?

I'd like to add a crimestopper 2way system if my range is bad, but hoping the oem fob will work. There is no way to tell with my cement walls vs the window or not until it's installed. If I have to do 2way I was hoping that it would be able to do both - Have a 2 way at home and carry my oem fob in my pocket for starts when walking out to the truck, or from my office close by. I have a Ram fob Saab fob and don't have room in my pocket for a third fob.

I see the CHRT4 and ALL uses the oem keyfob which I like, can it do 2 way also at the same time  as the 3x lock oem fob? 

I don't understand stand alone starter vs not - I'm assuming that means the CHRT4 can be used with a 2 way? however... Under optional technology section: The One shows it can have RF (2way) remotes but says it can't do stand alone

What modules can be hooked up to the Evo-One

What external triggers can be hooked up to the CHRT4, can modules be hooked up to the CHRT4 or ALL?

In the bottom check mark section the CHRT4 has NA for remote start so does that mean it can't do 2way, this contradicts the Stand Alone option above? 

 

I see no difference between the CHRT4 and the ALL if I get the THAR-CHR4 T harness. In fact based on contradictory information on the compare screen I see no difference at all between all three models, except price since my truck has the remote start function setup but just needs the module/controller.  They all say the will monitor for 3x lock and will start or stop the vehicle. Can you please ellaborate on the differences in detail, including options, modules, triggers, systems, etc that can be added. I'd like to see the whole picture and know which is more future proof/upgradeable as well.

It starts fine when warm, but in cold weather, the truck starts hard, and I discovered it is because it doesn't have the delay it should for the grid heater to warm up. Diesel option on and off in the programmer doesn't make a difference as to how long after ignition on, it starts. Need help! It's too cold to walk outside already and it's only December!

Programming procedure 1- get solid yellow for 10 seconds then all 3 start flashing

I can't get past step 1. I let go of button on evo-all once I have the yellow led. About 10 seconds later all three led's flash simultaneously. 

Tried resetting the unit several times and still doen't work.

Cannot move on from this step.

After I remote start and drive my truck, I have to use the remote to stop it, why?

I have my EVO combo and CHRT4 hooked up as a stand alone remote start using the t harness. It starts and runs great. Tonight, I started the truck with the OEM remote, put my key in the ignition, turned the key to the run position, and drove home. When I got there, I took the key out of the ignition and the truck would not shut off. I had to use the remote to shut it off. I've installed other remote starts on different vehicles and they all used the brake wire to change from the remote start to the OEM ignition..if that makes sense to anyone. And the key would shut off the vehicle once it was removed. Did I not wire this up correctly in my 2012 Ram Diesel or is this just the way this system works? Thank you for your help
