EVO-FORT1 wiring information

The biggest question I hear when it comes to the EVO-FORT1 combo is that the module "will not program"....9 times out of 10 it is that the 3 main connections were left out!!! So below is the 3 types of connections that are done between the evo and the t-harness.

TYPE 1 CONNECTION

In the above image commonly used on the 40 bit type systems its basically match the colors between the t-harness and the 20 pin connector. Be sure to isolate the Yellow/Black wire from the T-Harness as it is not connected.

Type 2 CONNECTION

In the image above commonly used on 80 bit systems we match the colors EXCEPT you are not connecting yellow to yellow rather the yellow/black from the t-harness connects to the yellow wire from the 20 pin connector and you isolate the Yellow wire in the T-Harness.

TYPE 3 CONNECTION

In the above image it is exactly the same as connection 2 but in addition to the Yellow/Black being connected to the Yellow of the evo-all, we are also connecting the Purple/Yellow along with the Yellow. Isolate the Yellow wire from the T-Harness.

2013 Excape, ignition powers up, no crank

2013 Ford Escape. Using the EVO-FORT1 with THarness. Have the flashlink updater. Unit is updated to 71.34. I have the THarness wired to the 4 wires from the 20 pin. The locks work. I did have a hard time getting it programmed to the car. I used the 2 key method. It was always the second key would not register the bypass. But it is programmed now. I hit the 3xlock, the red light turns on solid, then the yellow light comes on solid and the iginition powers up. after about 5-6 secs. both lights go out, and the iginition powers down. Then it retrys. solid red light, then solid yellow light, iginition powers up, after 5-6 sec, the red light flashes 3 times, then everything powers down. The 2 CAN-BUS wires are connected. When it attempts to starts, the are 7.3v at the yellow/black wire that is connected to 20pin yellow wire (A1) and Purple/Yellow (16).

just a heads up.

had to hold the ptogram button down when i plugged in the flash programming tool to make it see the evo the first time. the can bus connections have to be solid as well

2007 Ford Mustang EVO-ALL 1 Key programming

I'm having an issue with the single key programming of an EVO-ALL in a 2007 Ford Mustang. I get to the fourth step, where you turn the key forward and the blue LED is supposed to flash, however it does not flash for me, rather it just shuts off. When i turn the key off, it turns back on solid blue. I've verified all my connections about a hundred times, swapped out the EVO-ALL's, made sure my remote starter module is programmed correctly, so any help would be appreciated.

Which EVO Remote Start Standalone for a 2011 Mustang - FORT1 or FORT4

I'm a bit confused which product to order. They both seem to have the same description. I have been unable to locate anyone selling the EVO-FORT4 though... I have a 2011 Mustang V6 with factory alarm.. Mike

External door keypad will trigger remote start

Hello

i have a 2015 focus se with a EVOAll and crimestopper lc1  

my car has an external keypad on the drivers door. This allows to lock/unlock and open the trunk. Pressing keys 7-8/9-0 simultaneously and 3 times will engage the remote start! Is there any way to disable that?

I don't like the car being exposed at any remote start just by pressing those 2 buttons. Anyone could do it!

2016 ford transit 250 t harness not available yet for the evo all?

Was told by one of distribution dealers (Clutchfield) that the t harness-with plugs for the evo all is not available yet for the 2016 ford transit, needs to be all spliced in,if so when will it be?

2017 Super Duty - Same as F150!

I got a look at some 2017 Super Duty information.

 

It has the same "gateway module" architecture as the F150, Fusion, Edge, 2016 Explorer ETC.

 

Havent got my hands on one physically, but there is no visible reason why the existing firmware wont work.

Aftermarket remote control for FSA-216 EVO-Ride combo

I want to know if any aftermarket remote control fob are compatible with the FSA-216 remote starter. I am guessing its a one way. Cant find any documentation on this. FSA-216 does not seem to exist, although i have one in my car. Or where can i get replacement OEM remote controlers.

Evo installed in 2012 f150 by previous owner, I want to add a viper smartstart, do I need to reprogram unit for install

Its a standalone unit, works fine I just want to know if I need a programer.

no blue led when pressing lock button on OEM remote

fitting a evo-forte1 to 2015 ford kuga. I'm not getting any blue led when pressing the ome remote. it seems to program as it should as per the guide. I've got options a1 to a11 turned on options c1 and d1 are also on. I've tried grounding the blue wire and no lights come on, when I touch the yellow/ black to ground the red led will come on and the car will start.. the car will stop after that if I remove the red plug but will re-start when it's put back in. have checked the hi/low can wires over and they seam to bo ok, are they the only two wires that make the blue led flash ?? any help would be much appreciated...

If standalone EVO-ALL module fails, and vehicle will not start.

Just a preventive maintenance question. If the standalone EVO-ALL module fails with a t-harness or not. Will the vehicle still start with a key normally? Will the valet switch be able to bypass that? Does the valet switch have to me momentary or on/off?

Do I have to re-program the data and transponder of my Evo All if I remove it from the vehicle to change the options?

I would like to hook up a dsm200 module to my Evo All w/ the T harness in my 2013 Ford F-150. If I remove the Evo All from the truck to make sure the options are correct do I have to re-program the data and transponder settings again when I put it back in?

when programing keys and you push program button it turns on ignition red lite blinks 10 times and goes out but ignition stays on and nothing else happens...

evo-all locking up

Hi Working with a 2011 ford F250 super duty diesel, installed an evo-all and T-harness with a cm6000as. I used guide 32121. Seems like the evo locks up with i connect the data link cable from the compu. During the start sequence the ign on the brain powers up but does not turn on the evo yellow led. I am going to reflash and reporgram the evo again. can you check my service number to ensure that i have the evo currently configured correctly for my aplication: 001A06254869. I am using the diesel timer on the brain. My data link option is set to fortin. Any ideas on the reason for the malfunction?

2011 fusion standalone mode unit doesnt start just flashes lights

2011 ford fusion. t harness used. wired in stand alone mode. All wires checked and double checked programming successful remote start works good 90 percent of the time every so often when you hit the lock buton to start the car. The car wont start and the lights flash like the flashers are turned on. the evo box clicks repeatedly and the car wont start remotely. You have to manually start the car. Any thoughts as to what could cause this.

I have purchased a cm6000 and evo-all. I noticed the guide only goes up to 2013. I entered the vehicle info in the flash link updater and updated the evo firmware. Wondering if the latest recommended firmware will support this vehicle. Build date 01/14. Or should I wait for a definite install guide to be released. Thanks

Evo All and RF Kit with Aftermarket Power Locks

Hey guys I got another quick question, I purchased the EVO All, THAR-FOR1 T-Harness and RFK442 RF Kit which I will be installing soon for remote start functionality. So my 2011 F-150 did not come with power locks so I wired up a relay with a momentary switch a few days ago which is working well so far (see link for wiring diagram below). https://www.caraudioforumz.com/attachments/car-alarm-mobile-security-85/14792-wiring-diagram-aftermarket-door-locks-trim.jpg My question was, would it be ok to hook up the lock pin A19 and unlock pin A5 on the EVO All (see Fortin wiring diagram below) to pin 85 and 86 which go to the momentary switch (see other wiring diagram). https://fortin.ca/download/94891/EVO-ALL_IG_RTS_BI_FOR-FSERIES-2011-2016_KEY80bits_D_94891.pdf My thought process here was that say for example, I click lock on the RF Kit which would send the command to the EVO All and then the EVO ALL would send voltage to the relay and finally the door will lock? Did I get this right? What's confusing me is why a diode is needed in that orientation, seems like it will be blocking the lock signal? Thank you so much!
