Changing options after installation

Hi all, Just wondering if there is a general rule as to what needs to be unplugged if we need to change options on a module (EVO-ALL or EVO-ONE) without removing it from the car? Just the 4-pin cable? Remove all of the cables? I'm going to be adding an RF-kit and will need to change that setting. Thanks

Can the remote start from OEM keyfob be disabled when I install an RF-Kit to my EVO remote starter?

Can the remote start from OEM keyfob be disabled when I install an RF-Kit to my EVO remote starter? I'll be installing an RF-All 642W with my existing EVO-CHRT5 (that currently starts with the OEM 3x Lock button). Can the OEM 3x Lock be disabled so only the remote from the RF Kit will start the car? the 3x Lock hasn't worked great for me because my wife has a bad habit of hitting the OEM lock more than one to "make sure" the car is locked. If not, what mode would you recommend I use to minimize accidental remote starts? I think I saw Lock-Unlock-Lock, but hoping it can just be disabled.

EVO ONE no response

I recently received EVO ONE for 2020 Honda HRV sport AWD auto. When plugging into flashlink, I updated suggested firmware and am able to adjust settings. When I click on the remote start tab, the unit disconnects everytime. I tried to do a master reset with no luck. I also tried installing it maybe thinking it needed the bypass first. Nope, no lights no nothing when connected to harness in car trying to program. Maybe I am doing it wrong? Any help would be great.

Module loses detecting when entering remote starter mode on flashlink with EVO One and flashlink v4

The flashlink updater toggles back and forth from bypass to remote starter often with EVO One. Doing anything where I'd like to edit or do something with the remote starter side, on remote starter mode, the leds all light up momentarily for couple seconds and then the operations fail. I can trick things around by selecting "special unit" which appears to toggle the modes for the moment. But I can't do anything such as edit options or update firmware on the remote starter side. Everything on bypass mode works fine. I'm able to update the firmware there. I did a search and found some old workarounds to pull out USB and back, but all that did was lose the connection and the application stated that it can't find the updater. addon: I tried to flash another evo one immediately after and that module had no issue. So that probably rules out the flashlink updater and cable. I made sure the connector is seated correctly. If it's anywhere important, all the LEDs blink 25 times on the non-working module, whereas the working module did not blink at all.

Unit updates but then comes back to "make sure you are using a compatable device screen... . If I restart the program it just takes me back to update device.. ?? Please help.

Can EVO-ONE settings be updated while connected in the vehicle?

Hi I have my EVO-0NE installed and working but I want to know if I can make changes to the unit while it is installed in the vehicle. I'm only talking about changing how the door locks and other functions/settings work. I have a laptop with the correct program downloaded and have installed the EVO-ONE where it can easily be accessed, can I do this in the vehicle?

Module Programming Options Online

You used to be able to check Fortin modules programming online with fortin.ca/support/001a06xxxxxx (Where your module service # is). There also used to be a box you could type your module in to check to see if it has been programmed correctly with the options. Whenever I type the address with correct module # in now, I no longer can see this, and the search box for modules dissapeared. Does anyone know what happened to this feature!?
