Help with Omega RF install

I bought two of these.  One for an EVO-ONE, one for EVO-ALL.  I managed to get the EVO-ONE working on a 2020 Hyundai Kona.  I cannot get it  to work on EVO-ALL with multiple vehicles (2010 Ford Fusion, 7.71.52 and 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, 7.58.01)

The instructions both in the box and on the Fortin website did not work.  Here is what I figured out to get the antenna into pairing mode:

Unplug antenna if you already connected it

Unplug data link (black connector) from EVO-ALL

Hold programming button

Insert data link

Release button when lights are blue and red

Connect antenna (On this antenna, it flashes once.  If I hook up the antenna from the EVO-ONE install, it flashes 6 times)

Ignition on

Ignition off

Ignition on

Antenna is lit up solid

Within 5ish seconds, press the brake pedal 4 times (antenna should flash with each press)

After the 4th press, it should be flashing rapidly

At this point I was hoping I could program the remotes but they still did not respond.

So far, when I asked Omega support they responded with "Was the evo-all set for Omegalink/Crimstopper rf kit and did the box for the olrf15sst have the white label stating it was compatible?" which is Yes and Yes.  They then followed up with "Just the RF kit protocol and the adapter should be fine. Try holding the start button for 3-5 seconds when you program it."

I get the same behavior with either their adapter or the RF-A2A

Any other ideas from Fortin?  Hopefully my new steps will help.  I reached out to Omega also for clarification about the antenna blinks

EDIT: Omega has been more responsive but no luck so far.  I did try updating the firmware on the Chrysler to 7.74.39 with no luck.  I flashed back to 7.58.02.  Now I no longer get 1 blink when I plug in the antenna in any scenario, only 6 blinks.  (5 blinks is a 1 way antenna, 6 blinks is 2-way according to Omega).  I also am no longer able to replicate my steps above because of this.  One thing is they were not sure if the antenna is supposed to light up when programming an EVO-ALL.  It sometimes does for the EVO-ONE.

Omega RF Kit Install Question

I'm about to install some Omega kits and came across this discussion from a few months ago:
https://fortin.ca/en/qa/122512/Omega-OL-RF-RF-Kit-not-working-with-EVO-ALL/

Earlier in that thread it was stated "...the blue connector on the Fortin AUD1 harness is only for Fortin RF-KITs."  But the current instructions on page 3 state to use the RF-A2A. Doesn't that provide the same functionality?
https://fortin.ca/download/107781/EVO-ALL_IG_EVO-ALL_RF-KIT_OMEGALINK_REVO_EN_A_107781.pdf

Unless the splices go to different wires under the tape for some reason, the wire scheme on the Omega adapter is the same as the RF-A2A.  The Omega antenna cable switches the blue and green wires on each end but I thought the Fortin also did that?

Can you have the smartphone module along with the rf antenna on an EVO ONE?

I've got an RF antenna for the 2 way remote and it works great. However, today I tried installing the smartphone module with my EVO ONE and realized that it needs to be plugged into the Datalink port, the same port that the RF antenna is currently occupying. I tried using one of the harnesses to connect both, but if I have both the SM module and the RF antenna connected, the EVO ONE seems to only accept commands from the RF antenna and not the SM module (even though both of the red and green LEDs are on. Now if I disconnect the RF antenna and only have the SM module connected to the Datalink port with the harness, it works. How would I get both to work?

Informational: Interfacing Compustar T11/T12-style remotes to EVO-ONE

I'm not a Fortin rep but someone might find this useful -- I struggled with making these types of Compustar remotes work with the EVO-ONE. There are a few reports here of success with these remotes, and I had to do alot of experimentation to get satisfactory results, because these reports were somewhat vague and didn't cite which Firmware revisions were used when these observations were made. I can report that Firmware 7.1.24 (latest as of this thread) allows full function of these remotes without any drama, with the exception of a missing "remote start ready" (engine icon) indicator, which to me isn't any type of deal-breaker considering the capabilities of these units. Temperature, voltage, trunk, remote valet, alarm paging, etc. all work. The Fortin documentation states that FW 7.0.96 must be flashed for (supported) Compustar remotes, but this FW level is not sufficient to get full function from the (unsupported) T11/T12 remotes. 7.0.96 - Couldn't program remotes with Mode 1 or Mode 5. 7.1.16 - Remotes programmed immediately on Mode 5 and function, but temperature and voltage status reported erroneous numbers. 7.1.24 - Remotes programmed immediately on Mode 5 and all functions appear to work, with the exception of the "ready" engine icon which indicates a remote start is possible. IMHO, might be an issue for manual-transmission vehicles. Remote start functions regardless. To get this remote to work, flash the EVO-ONE to 7.1.24, and program the remotes with Mode 5. That's it. ** IMPORTANT ** -- There's no LED or valet switch on the antenna, even though the plastic housing looks like these features are there. This seriously confused me. I was trying to press that plastic square over-and-over thinking this was a valet switch, but it's a cosmetic feature, and does nothing, and there's no LED. I had to pop the antenna open to confirm this. Just flash to 7.1.24 and follow the instructions in the Compustar document from Fortin to program the remotes using Mode 5.

Can the remote start from OEM keyfob be disabled when I install an RF-Kit to my EVO remote starter?

Can the remote start from OEM keyfob be disabled when I install an RF-Kit to my EVO remote starter? I'll be installing an RF-All 642W with my existing EVO-CHRT5 (that currently starts with the OEM 3x Lock button). Can the OEM 3x Lock be disabled so only the remote from the RF Kit will start the car? the 3x Lock hasn't worked great for me because my wife has a bad habit of hitting the OEM lock more than one to "make sure" the car is locked. If not, what mode would you recommend I use to minimize accidental remote starts? I think I saw Lock-Unlock-Lock, but hoping it can just be disabled.

2009 GMC Sierra Manual Door Locks....Can you turn of the unlock detect on an Evo-All?

I installed the GMT4 in my GMC Sierra that has manual door locks. The truck shuts off when the key is inserted into the ignition because there is no unlock pulse. Can I turn of that feature on this system? I also have the RFK411 installed with the evo all.

Where is the "Supported RF Kits" tab?

I am trying to add a Viper RF kit to an EVO-ONE, but there is no tab on Flashlink (Firmware: 4.05). To my understanding, Fortin defaults to Fortin RF kits, but how I do change this to support another RF kit?

Can the audible beeps from the FTX64-2W remotes be disabled?

Evo-all installed on a 2015 Ford F150 using the ForT3 harness and RFK642 2 way RF Kit using the RFALL. Absolutely works perfectly and has exceeded my expectations! Is there any way to disable the audible tones that play on the remote to let you know the vehicle has received the signal? I would much rather just watch the lights and not hear the remote. If not will the Fortin RM942 Or 442 kit do this? I would love to be able to shut off the remote beeps. I've searched everywhere for the answer for about a day before asking. I do like being able to see the green light confirmation that my vehicle has received the signal and the subsequent green LED that flashes every ten seconds so I don't want to go to a 1 way kit. Thanks.

Installation of OMEGA OL-RF-15-SST RF Kit for EVO-ONE

There is no installation guide for  OMEGA OL-RF-15-SST.

What options do I need turn on during firmware flashing. And what port antenna uses on EVO-ONE?
