2010 Ford F150 - PATS key error on first remote start attempt with EVO-All and Compustar CM-4200DX

I used the decryptor and the 1-key programming method on my 2010 F150. Everything seemed to go smoothly, took about 15 minutes to decrypt the key. I've got soldered/heatshrink connections throughout my installation. When I hit the remote start button on my Compustar CM-4200DX, the dash indicators light up like it is attempting a start, but the PATS warning light flashes rapidly (same as if you have an invalid/non-programmed key) and starter does not engage. The Compustar tries a second time, which again - all the dash lights come on as you would expect, but this time the PATS warning light stays on solid (just like it would if you used the key) and the vehicle starts up successfully. Not knowing if the Compustar module could "talk" to the EVO-ALL, I used the hardwire method for the install instead of data-link. I double-checked to make sure the EVO-ALL was getting a proper signal to the GWR, START, Ign, 12v+, and ground wires. Everything works just fine, except that the Compustar module has to try twice before the truck will start.

2006 Toyota 4runner: Auto headlights not shutting off after remote start (EVO-ONE)

I recently installed an EVO-ONE on a 2006 4Runner Limited. This vehicle has daytime running lights that come on as soon as the vehicle is running, so I elected not to hook up the parking light wire on the EVO-ONE. Additionally, this vehicle is equipped with auto headlights, and the vehicle's owner prefers to leave the headlight switch in the AUTO position. One quirk I've noticed: If the vehicle is remote started but the doors have not been opened, the auto headlights will not shut off after the vehicle has been started. Once a door has been opened, the auto headlights will shut down after 30 seconds or so. The quirk is not limited to remote starts. I've replicated the problem using the vehicle's key. If I start the vehicle up, then shut it down without getting out, the auto headlights remain on. I suspect the auto headlight system is tied into the door switches somehow. Is there a way to hook up the EVO-ONE so that it it can shut down the auto headlights? There is no mention of the auto headlights in the guides I have downloaded for the EVO-ONE and the 2006 4Runner. Thank you, Darren

2006 Toyota 4runner: EVO-ONE No yellow LED when ignition switch is on

Hello. I am in the process of installing an EVO-ONE on a 2006 Toyota 4runner, with a t-harness. I was able to successfully program the vehicle's key to the bypass module (red LED flashes 10x upon insertion of the key, then goes out). The remote start module does nothing when I push Lock 3x on the OEM remote, nor can I get it to remote start with the Crimestopper REVO 1-button RF kit. In my own troubleshooting, I found that I have a solid ground to the EVO-ONE, and that the ignition wires at the 6-pin plug are all doing what they should (IGN1, IGN2, start 1, start 2). The module has mode 2.4 programmed, as well as 20.2 as instructed in guide #19291. I am also getting a good IGN+ signal to the yellow wire in the 20-pin plug. I do know in my previous EVO-ONE installs on other vehicles, the module should respond with a yellow LED whenever the ignition switch is in the ON position. And that the blue LED should flash when lock/unlock button is pushed on the OEM remote. None of these are happening in this case. Is there something I overlooked, or do I potentially have a bad unit?

Can the EVO One be used as a remote start/remote keyless entry module on a 2006 Toyota 4runner?

I'm looking at installing a remote start on a 2006 Toyota 4runner. I looked up the vehicle-specific instructions and saw that the EVO One could be used as a immobilizer bypass and remote start, but there's no mention if this unit could operate the door locks and dome light. I'm most likely going to get a RF kit with door lock buttons like the RF642W so that the locks can be operated with the vehicle running (my understanding is the OEM remote stops working once the vehicle is running). I don't see any way to hard wire the power door locks, dome light, brake switch, etc. in the vehicle specific guide. Is there a generic install guide available for the EVO One that shows where these items need to be plugged in? I'd like to review the installation specifics to make sure the EVO One will suit my needs. Thanks for your help!

2013 F150 will not shut off after key is turned on and back off within 15 minutes

I installed the evo-fort1 in my 2013 ford f150 tonight I really only care about the remote start feature. It starts fine with the 3X lock and will turn off with it as well. one concern is that I can get inside the truck and drive it without the key when it was started with the remote start ( I would assume only for 15 minutes) I would like to figure out how to have it shut off when the brake is pressed or not let you put it in drive at least. My 2nd and main concern is that when I start it via remote start get inside, if I put the key in the ignition and turn it to the run position and try to turn it off after 5 minutes or so it will not turn off and I have to do the 3X lock to turn it off or wait till after the 15 minute runtime. I followed a youtube video from an installer that only connected the can high and can low which is what I did for now. When I programmed it using the flash link did I turn on or off a certain setting? I believe I had on remote start, with keybypass? what correct settings should I have on

2014 Ram 1500 Tradesman shuts down on key takeover.

I just recently installed a Crimestopper LCPro-4 with an EVO-ALL interface module on my brother-in-law's 2013 Ram 1500 Tradesman. The installation and programming all went smoothly, however I noticed a couple of problems. Problem 1: The truck does not stay running if you remote start it, insert key and turn to the 'run' position, and step on the brake. I double-checked my wiring to make sure everything was connected to the right places. After the truck shuts off with the brake pedal, there's a small delay (1 second) then the instrument panel lights back up. I can also hear relays clicking inside either the Crimestopper or Fortin modules when this happens - I haven't determined which module's relays are clicking, as they are secured together under the dash. Problem 2: I programmed the EVO-ALL with my Flash Link Updater 2 so that we can have driver's door priority unlocking. All of the doors still unlock when the unlock button is pressed on the Crimestopper remote. I've taken a video of these and they are available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJZ_paLS0PA For what it's worth - this truck is a Tradesman model. It has power windows/locks/mirrors, but did not come with keyless entry from the factory. My BIL has owned it since new, and the window sticker does not indicate keyless entry as an option or standard feature, either. Any ideas what might be happening? Hope you had a Merry Christmas, and as always, I appreciate the support! Thanks, Darren

2006 Dodge Ram red security light flashes on remote start

Hello there, I have an EVO-ALL (service # 001A06416265) with a Crimestopper LCPro-4. It has been working just fine on my 2006 Ram 1500 up until recently. I recently bought two Sentry Keys for my truck, which I programmed myself using the customer key programming described in the Dodge owner's manual. I have a total of 5 keys for the truck now, all of them work properly. The problem I am experiencing - whenever I remote start the truck, the red security light in the instrument cluster blinks. It continues to blink even after I insert a key and take over from remote start. The only way to get the light to shut off is to shut off the truck and restart with the key. The odd thing is the truck starts and runs just fine when remote started...everything works the same as it did before, but now that security light blinks. I plugged my OTC Genisys scan tool into the truck and get a code: P0513 "invalid SKIM key". I cleared the codes. The same code comes back if I remote start the truck. I did a Master Reset on my EVO-ALL module, and went through the programming procedure on it again. It completed programming successfully. No change. All functions still work, but the red light is still blinking when the truck is remote started. Thanks in advance for all your help! -Darren Asuncion

How to make vehicles parking lights turn on with Chrt5?

I have a CHRT5 system on my 2008 Dodge 1500. Everything works great (starts, stops, security features work) but I cannot get the parking lights to come on when the vehicle is running. I know it says the white and green wire, but it doesn't say from whih plug to take it from since there are multiple greens and white wires. Just need to know where I connect the wires from and to. Thank you very much

Can an EVO ONE be used as standalone remote starter on applications not needing bypass or data features?

Hopefully this hasn't already been asked before. I did not find an answer when searching the support forum here. I've got an older vehicle (1999 Dodge Ram) that could use a remote starter/keyless entry installed in it. I know I can accomplish this with one of the many high-amperage remote starter/RKE units available on the market. I'd like to stick with an EVO product, if possible, so I can potentially reuse the unit down the road on another vehicle. The truck has factory power windows/locks but does not have the Sentry Key system, so I will not need a bypass to complete the installation. Is there a way to use an EVO-ONE + RF KIT in this fashion? If so, is there an install guide for doing this? Thanks in advance for your help! -Darren

2010 Ford F150 Evo One (Ax One) and AX RF2. Will not shut down upon pressing remote start button.

I just installed a AX-One (Evo-One) standalone remote starter on a 2010 Ford F-150, with a Axxess/Fortin AX-RF2 2-way RF kit. I noticed a quirk with the RF2 remote. Lock and Unlock work fine, and so does the [I] button for remote starting the truck. However, if I want to shut the truck down, the remote start button [I] on the RF2 remote will not shut the truck down. I tried the [-] button, thinking that maybe this was a 'stop' button, but the parking lights would flash once and nothing else would happen. Hitting the brake pedal makes the engine shut down. Also, 3x remote start with the OEM remote works for starting the engine, as well as shutting it down. Also, the remote start module is set up to beep the horn on the 2nd press of the lock or unlock button. Occasionally it will beep the horn on the first press of the lock button on the RF2 remote. Another quirk, or did I misconfigure a setting somewhere? For what it's worth, I used 1-key programming when setting up the bypass module. Everything went smoothly with the install, aside from the quirks mentioned above. I currently have the module set for remote start only, no alarm. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help! The service number for from the Flash Link Manager is 002B02025422, if you need to see the settings for the bypass side. -Darren

How do I get just the parking lights to work on the unit?

2011 Chrysler Town and Country (manufacture date: 6/11 - similar to 2012-15 models) I installed the Fortin Evo using the T-harness (CHRT-4) and it remote-starts on lock 3x perfectly! However, when I connected the parking lights according to documentation and videos (soldered a 1K-ohm resistor onto the brown/white wire on the Fortin, tapped into the white/green wire on the headlight/parking light switch), instead of just the parking lights flashing/remaining on, it also activates both the headlights and foglights each time I either start or just lock or unlock the vehicle from the FOB. Supposedly I tapped into the correct white/green wire, but it doesn't appear so. Which wire from the headlight switch works just the parking lights? Thanks!

2006 Ram diesel intake heater (glow plug) monitoring

Does the Evo-All have the ability to monitor the intake heater (glow plug) for remote starting? I see that I can set it for diesel mode, which would then delay the start signal for 0/10/20 seconds, but would rather just have it start as soon as the light in the dash turns off if possible. Thank you!

06 Ram evo-all park light wire colors

Installing a evo-all on my 06 Ram diesel. The instructions indicate that the brown/white wire from the evo-all is for the parking light output but the instructions on wire color say that that wire is for the parking brake. Not sure which to go with. Also for the parking light output I assume that they just want a 1.1k resistor connected from the truck to the park light output on the evo-all? Thanks
