Manual CX-5 Crank no start

2014 Mazda CX5 ; manual push to start ; Evo-one w/MAZ THAR ; SN 002b04 638289

Cranks but doesn't start. All fob functions work, car runs normally, and it goes into ready mode and shuts down after exiting. Won't autostart after getting out of the vehicle - what am I missing? Valet mode off.

Using default settings with the plug&play harness.

EVO-One for 2011 Mazdaspeed 3 - Remote start starts the vehicle but immediately shutsdown after 1 second.

After I put my vehicle in ready-mode for my manual, push-to-start vehicle, my car will remote start properly, however, it immediately shuts off after about 2 seconds. Parking lights don't show any indication on why it shutdowns either. What could be the issue? I also noticed that the wiring diagram for installation have flipped wiring colors for 7A (Back Clutch Switch 2) and 7B (Front clutch switch 1). It says the Back clutch switch should have 2 cables, a WHITE and a BLACK cable, however, in reality it has a GREY and BLACK cable. Same thing with the Front clutch switch; diagram says it should have a GREY and BLACK cable but it they're WHITE and BLACK in my car... I have tried both of these wirings actually, and the problem still persists. Even if this is not the cause of the problem, which one is correct?

Engine won't shutdown after remote start put in Ready mode

Hi, I have a 2006 Mazda Mazdaspeed6 with a manual transmission and I'm trying to remote start it with the EVO-ONE I installed on it. I believe I wired everything correctly according to the instructions but the engine is not shutting down after I follow the sequence to enable Ready Mode on the remote starter. The doors lock and unlock confirming that the sequence was done correctly to enable remote starter but when i get out of the vehicle and close the door the engine doesn't turn off and I'm unable to lock the door with the OEM remote. Its as if it doesn't know the status of the doors?

EVO-ONE 2015 Mazda 3 Manual Transmission - Remote Start Will Not Activate

2015 Mazda 3 Grand Touring Hatchback, push-to-start, smart key, manual transmission.  I cannot get the module to start the vehicle with 3x OEM remote lock.  I've followed the instructions for manual transmission in Guide #68261.  My EVO-ONE serial number is 002B04 298695 and it is dated 09/2022.  Here's what I've done:

EVO-ONE flashed with Firmware 85.12. Using T-Harness. Yellow loop wire NOT cut White wire labeled "for manual transmission only" on the T-harness is connected to the white wire coming out of the 20-pin connector.  These wires are just butt spliced with no other connection. DCryptor process to enable key bypass appears to have been successful from all FlashLink software messages. Remote starter option 33 is set to mode 2 for foot brake - handbrake - release foot brake Ready Mode process. Remote starter option 38 is set to mode 2 to enable 3x lock with OEM remote. Bypass option C1 is on for OEM remote status monitoring. I did not install a hood pin.  I am not concerned about remote starting while the hood is open.  Bypass option A11 is set to "off." Bypass options for foot brake, hand brake, door output monitoring are all set to "on."

To enable ready mode, I depress the foot brake, engage the hand brake, release the footbrake, and exit the car while it is still running without pushing the start button.  The car just sits there and runs, nothing happens when I close the door and walk so that the smart key is out of range.  I also tried doing this with shutting the car off before exiting and was still not able to remote start the vehicle.

When I press the lock button on the OEM remote, the blue LED on the EVO-ONE blinks indicating it is reading the CAN bus messages.

When the car is running, the yellow LED on the EVO-ONE is steadily illuminated.

At no point does the red LED on the EVO-ONE illuminate.  It does not turn on after pressing the OEM remote lock button 3x.

When I press the OEM lock button 3x after the above ready mode process, absolutely nothing happens except the car horn beeps on the 2nd and 3rd presses like it normally would.

Thanks in advance for your help.

2003 Miata not programming

First, how do I know what hardware and firmware version my module has? Its not on it or on the sticker. The first step in programming in the wiring schematic for this car is to plug in the 6 pin white connector, there is no 6 pin white connector. Which one did you mean to say? Im assuming the 4 pin black connector that has the power and ground wire on it. If so, then when thats plugged in (while holding the programming button) all the lights flash at the same time and the red one never remains on allowing me to go to the next step. What do you suggest? Thanks

2014 Mazda CX5 Manual - Installed EVO-ONE W/ THAR Lights blink blue does not stay on solid

Hello, I purchased an EVO-ONE kit along with the T-harness for my 2014 Mazda CX5 manual trans, push button start. I programmed the module originally with the Flash Link on windows 10 laptop, I installed it in the vehcle with the T Harness. I ran a wire for the hood switch and mounted it. I am unsure if I hooked up the clutch switch correctly, the picture shows it in series but the input goes straight into the module and then back around into the T Harness..I hooked it up to the ground side trigger. The module will not power up and stay on, if I hold the programming button or unplug the 6 pin and plug it back in the unit will blink all the LEDs and then they just all go out. The blue one will not stay on. Can I get some guidance guys? Anybody run into this before? I double checked all the plugs into the module, the T Harness plugs. Mike

'21 Manual Miata cranks, but doesn't start

I own a 2021 Mazda MX5 Miata RF GT in a manual transmission. I'm using the EVO-ONE with the THAR-ONE-MAZ3 T-Harness. I've made sure to splice the white cable (Manual only) with the corresponding white pin A5 on the 20 pin connector for the clutch bypass .I've actually gone through a couple configurations and at this point, I chose to use suggested settings as well as the settings the manual insisted. I've also enabled 3x OEM lock since I want to use my own remote. So far, once I initiate the ready mode sequence, I triple click the lock button and the car cranks for a bit but doesnt start. I've been through the settings a couple of times over to check everything and its not clear to me what might be causing it. Please let me know if there is any additional wiring needing to be done or a certain setting that's causing it not to work. I'm so close to a successful start, yet so far.

Mazda 3 5dr (hatchback), Manual Transmission, RFID in keyfob.

Vehicle type:

2011 Mazda 3 (5 door/hatchback), manual transmission, key to start. Integrated key/keyfob (lock, unlock, panic), keyless entry w/RFID chip for factory immobilizer system.

Wants:

Remote Starter, Factory Immobilizer bypass, OEM keyfob (lock-lock-lock to start), alarm functionality optional at a later date.

Ready to install Evo-One, Flash-Link and RFK442.

Few problems so far (have not started install yet or any flashing of Evo-One vehicle specific Bypass settings):

I see a conflict between Fortin wiring guide #80431 and #29661. Same vehicle, Mazda 3 - Axela 2010-2013, but two different wiring schemes.  Which one is the more correct one, or, can you suggest a better one?

On Fortins website, for this vehicle it states 'Automatic Transmission Vehicles Only'  In Guide #80431, pg 5, it gives Manual Transmission programming instructions as does with Guide #29661 pg6, both of which conflicts with Fortins webpage..

With Flash-Link v4.51, when entering vehicle info, there is NO option for Manual Transmission.

In Guide #94011, pg11 (Function #20) Engine Supervision: Tachless, Analog or Data-Link.

I see there is no option for a true Analog input; i.e Vacuum switch, or hardwire to coil (or even a much older method of wraping 6in of stripped wire around a spark plug wire). Is there not a true analog tach input?

I also cannot seem to anything at all about 'clutch bypass'

So, Manual Transmission? Yes or No?

For the Flash-Link Manager software, the v4.51 does not reflect the instructions I found for possibly older software instructions of Flash-Link Manager User Guide v1 #68731, any updated Guide #?

Flash-Link Manager software v4.51 (when I click on Settings in the software it shows v4.51-1.1.15)

Flash-Link V4 module, Hardware V5, Firmware v4.08

Evo-One module date 07/2021, s/n (PM me for serial number), Firmware: for a moment it showed v1.25 then within a few seconds dropped down to v1.01

Thanks, Nick.

2018 Mazda3 install for a manual (6spd)

So it says it will work for a 2018 Mazda 3 Push Start with a MANUAL transmission. If so, how? I'm familiar with componets and T-harness - This would be my 3rd... Is there a clutch bypass? Does the trans need to be in neutral, if not I assume it wouldn't start - or it would attempt while in gear? Has anyone else installed on this make/model = gotchyas or problems ?? Has anyone installed on a manual trans = extra steps or worth it (juice worth the squeeze) ?? I've installed on automatics ('15 Town & Country and 10 Caravan) - si I get the over all process with the Harnesses and EVO modules. TY!!!

What is the correct steps to start my car

I bought a brand new manual mazda 3 2018 with a FTX 64-2W already installed by Mazda, I was able to remote start it ONE time since the purchase. Can you give me the sequence to be able to use your product? So far I was trying what I was told by the Mazda employee: Put the parking brake use the (-) Stop then (I) 3 sec Start Get out the car, lock the door 2 times. Is this really the sequence to stop the car in order to remote start it???

Mazda 3 cruise control fails after takeover / also alarm doesn't work?

I installed an Evo-One in my 2016 Mazda 3 last week. I ran into several configuration issues that I have been able to work through, but I still have 2 that I can't figure out. First, after remote starting and a successful takeover, my cruise control fails to work. It turns on but wont accept any setting. I think this must be a bug in the firmware. If I manually start the car the cruise works just fine. This is confusing to me since the Evo-One shouldn't affect the cruise at all, right? Second, The alarm doesn't seem to work at all. It arms (LED on the antenna confirms it) and locks the doors like it is arming, but if I break in, nothing happens, no lights, no horn and the LED stays a steady blinking light like nothing is wrong. Does the Evo-One only control the OEM alarm, or does it have its own alarm built in (this is what I was assuming). Everything else works as designed. Great solution for remote starting a manual transmission.

Tech support phone mailbox full? Are you closed?

Tech Support phone mailbox full? Exactly how does the EVO-ALL going to work with a manual transmission ('14Mazda 3). Does the EVO-ALL's doorlocks and e-brake signal drop out when ign is off? Do I have to wire these functions directly for the Ultrastarter's (1281M) to monitor door pins and e-brake? How is the reservation mode going to be setup? Typically e-brake, push the start button on the R/S remote, and open and close the door. Will the car be able to shut down and how will it be able to shut down? Does the PTS button get a - signal from the EVO-ALL for shut down? I haven't done a R/S in a PTS car with the bypass controlling the ign yet.
