Where is the Tach wire on the EVO-ONE

2014 Wrangler manual transmission I have no remotes for this unit and plan on using the OEM remote. The unit will not remote start. The flash tool says that the tach wire needs to be hooked up, not to use the tachless mode. So, Which wire is it? I will need the PIN number too since the extra wires have been removed to reduce the wires in the install.

Jeep Wrangler going all crazy when trying to remote start, please help!

OK I have a remote start system that has just started causing all sorts of problems (at least I am assuming).  I have the Fortin Evo All with the Chrysler harness in my 2014 Wrangler.  It is tied into an Avital alarm.  This has been installed since August 2014.  Over the last 2 months or so, on occasion teh vehicle will not remote start, either by the remote of by the Viper Smartstart cell module I have installed.  I noticed after the non start event happened, the alarm would also not lock the doors and turn on the factory alarm system, I would have to set the factory alarm after setting the Avital alarm.  The remote start has not been working now for the last 6 days, so today I decided to sit in the car and see what happens when I try to remote start.  See this Youtube video.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BT2r_aO1JlQ&feature=youtu.be      The last few days every time I have played around with the remote start, I have then been getting a check engine light with a slew of codes.  See attached pic for the latest list.   I am able to clear the codes and they do not come back, unless I try and remote start.  Hoping maybe you have an idea.  Thanks!   Ray

Why am I not able to start JK with the key after install of EVO-ALL

I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport, AUTO, with power package. I am trying to install an EVO-ALL as a stand-alone remote start option. I have configured the EVO-ALL with option #12 and #15 enabled. The remote start works fine. However, since installing, I am not able to start the Jeep using the key. When I start the Jeep with the key, the engine starts and then after about 2-3 seconds stops and the light above the temperature gauge blinks red. I have tried to uninstall the EVO-ALL and put Jeep back to stock but I am still unable to start the Jeep with the key and the same problems exist. I have tried grounding the purple/white wire during the install of the EVO-ALL as well as pressing the unlock button on the remote during the install and neither method has changed the behaviour of the Jeep. Any assistance is appreciated.

2014 Jeep Wrangler, Evo Chrt5 with T-Harness will not remote start, all light blinking

I recently installed an Evo CHRT5 with T-Harness into my 2014 Jeep Wrangler (2dr), the remote start functioned properly the first couple times I tried it. Now it will not remote start, when I looked at the unit all three lights were blinking one at a time. I've unhooked everything and went through the reinstall process multiple times but every time I do this it will only function for a few days/remote starts. Then it goes back to cycling through the lights and not remote starting.

Is it possible to turn off the car with remote?

Hi, I have installed EVO 5 and starts fine by pressing "lock" for 3 times. But is there a combination for turning off the engine by pressing my remote buttons? Also there is an issue, that if car turns on by remote control, warning lights start blinking. If I turn one more time "lock" and then "unlock" it will end, but is it normal? BR, Ivo

Blue light won't flash with key at "ON" position!?

I can not get the blue light to flash when I insert the key in the ignition and turn to "ON" position. Are there any other wires I need to wire-in manually for this product to work or should I be able to simply "plug&play"? I have a 2015 Jeep Compass and only want to install stand alone remote start function.

Red Light as soon as plug-in the data link

Hi,

I have a Jeep Patriot 2009.

I have used the two linked youtube videos for install, my installation will require the aftermarket FOBs.  So I will be using the remote that comes with the kit to start the car instead of the the factory Key FOB.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTeIvcuB7fQ

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqFVXepReBk

I bought the kit at amazon;

I have an EVO-ALL Service#: 001A06 563770

and LCPRO-4 Serial No. 1CFF98M6CM41063

My issues are, as soon as I plug the 4-Pin connector the light turns red, (solid, no blinking).

I tried to reset the Evo All but after pressing the button for 5 seconds, nothing happens.

I am just as far as the first step, I am worried more issues might arise, what could it be.

Please help!

Engine won't shut down, now red/blue flash at last step

CHRT-5 with T harness installed in 2012 Jeep Wrangler auto as stand alone. After 2 days, engine would not shut down when key removed or 3 push on remote. Reset, flashed and reinstalled, when I get to last step, blue and red led alternate and engine will not shut off with key removed. Can only stop engine if unplug evo. I tried Master reset, I have flash link , updated and flash options again. What do I do next?

Hazard lights flashing intermittently

Unit is installed and starts the car. When driving the hazard lights will begin flashing intermittently. Is there a possibility that a circuit is being completed by wires touching?

Valet switch

I have a quick question. I have the remote starter all hooked up and working. I need to hook up the valet switch but wasn't sure if I have it correctly. Do I hook the valet wire from the unit to the switch and add another wire to the switch to somewhere on the vehicle. Thanks. Richard.

2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Won't Come Out Of Park During Key Takeover

2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Crimestopper RS1-G5, EVO-ALL & THAR-CHR4. Everything works and programmed as it should. If performing key takeover, shifter will not move from park. Shut R.S. off first, and it works fine. Customer has not come back in yet as I haven't had time to look at it yet. (So I don't recall the firmware version, but I think I used the minimum stated, 4.09) I *think* I ran into this before, but was quite some time ago and don't remember a cure. Thoughts?

2003 Jeep Liberty runs 2 seconds then dies

I used a UltraStart 3295 with an EvoAll in a 03 Liberty. The vehicle started by remote start once and stayed running, every time after the vehicle will start for 2 seconds then dies. Wired in as per instruction for evo-all (connection 1, program 1). Flashed evo-all as per instructions to 4.06. Turned on D2D in options tab. The door locks also are not working through remote starter. The horn honks 5 times after each start fail.

17 JKU Base Model

Installing Evo-All with an Avital 4105L All connections are made from the evo to the 4105, when I press remote start the ignition comes on, evo lights yellow. But it does not crank. Tries 3 times then shuts off. I read about the green/red wire to the purple wire, but also have read not to do it on a wrangler.

08 Jeep Gr Cherokee Diesel - alarm goes off on second start.

2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee - EVO-ALL standalone First cycle of RS with 3xlock works fine. If runtime expires or is canceled the second cycle sets off the factory alarm. Option D2 is on - but acts funny. Unstead of just a single unlock before RS, it unlocks then locks immediately. After key take over, drive and shut down, EVO still relocks/rearms doors. I've downgraded several firmware back to .14 but no change. Unit programs fine etc.

EVO-ALL with Compustar CM7000

I want to change my current setup from using a Fortin EVO-ALL as stand alone to Compustar CM7200 Remote starter with the EVO-ALL as the bypass and have some questions.
Will I be following Fortin instructions "A - INSTALLATION WITH DATA-LINK" from the PDF guide here (http://fortin.ca/download/28831/evo-all_evochrt5_o20150216.pdf)? Will the Fortin control the door lock/unlock with arm/disarm and monitor door triggers through the CAN-BUS with no additional wiring required? CM7200 Pin 15 Black - Is the Status/Ground wile running, typically used to trigger bypass / transponder modules.  Will this wire be required and, if so, where does it connect on the Fortin EVO-ALL (http://techfeed.compustar.com/ft_controllers/manuals/CM7000_Full_Install_3.00_EN.pdf) Will the factory FOB's lock/unlock and arm/disarm the alarm or will I have to exclusively use the aftermarket remotes?   Will I need to follow the EVO-ALL PROGRAMMING (Page 14 http://fortin.ca/download/28831/evo-all_evochrt5_o20150216.pdf) or is that not required since it's only a bypass for the remote starter on the CM7000?

2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee DTCs after remote start is used

I purchased a evo all stand alone remote start with the T harness. After installing the unit I tested the remote start and everything seems to work as intended but I noticed that after using the remote start the check engine light on. So I read the codes and cleared them with my snap on solus ultra scanner. I then started the truck with the key to confirm they were cleared and all was good. I tried the remote start and again after it started the truck I have the same 3 DTCs U110A Lost communication with steering column module - CAN- C U0103 Lost communication with electric gear shift module U1411 Implausible fuel volume signal received The unit also does not turn on the heat or A/C. Nothing on the dash is on radio, gauges etc.

Evo All alarm settings

I have a 2015 Jeep Jk with no power locks, so I have no factory alarm. I am using an RF kit to remote start. I see the evo-all has an alarm function, is there a way to have the horn sound if a door is opened? If so what settings or accessories do I need? Thank you It appears the alarm function is not working at all

Factory alarm isn't disabling when using RF Extender

I've had the EVO-ALL and T-Harness installed in my 2008 Jeep Wrangler (Standard key) for a few years now and it has worked without issues. It works with the factory remote (3 lock to start, 3 lock to stop). It is setup to unlock/lock/relock when remote starting, and handles the factory alarm the like it is supposed to. I have added a Axxess AX-RF2 2 to the EVO-ALL and setup all of the RF options using my Flash Link. I am using the 4 Pin D2d Data Cable Y Splitter. Connected wires are the Yellow, and brown/white running lights. When I use the RF remote, it will lock, unlock, start and stop, but it will not shut off the factory alarm. So it will trip the alarm every time. I've been through just about every option in Flash Link and and can't get it to disable the alarm with the RF. Even with the RF, the factory remote continues to work without issues.

2015 Wrangler Unlimited install

I have a 2015 Wrangler Unlimited with automatic transmission and want to install a stand alone EVO All with the T harness and want to know exactly the bare minimum to install the remote start. I am looking at install chart C and the T harness is easy and the 20 pin on the EVO All looks like the only thing you have to wire is the yellow ignition wire to the yellow ignition wire on the T harness? Is this correct? The hood pin and the parking lights look like they are optional and don't HAVE to be hooked up.
