Merci.

Can the audible beeps from the FTX64-2W remotes be disabled?

Evo-all installed on a 2015 Ford F150 using the ForT3 harness and RFK642 2 way RF Kit using the RFALL. Absolutely works perfectly and has exceeded my expectations! Is there any way to disable the audible tones that play on the remote to let you know the vehicle has received the signal? I would much rather just watch the lights and not hear the remote. If not will the Fortin RM942 Or 442 kit do this? I would love to be able to shut off the remote beeps. I've searched everywhere for the answer for about a day before asking. I do like being able to see the green light confirmation that my vehicle has received the signal and the subsequent green LED that flashes every ten seconds so I don't want to go to a 1 way kit. Thanks.

FTX64-2W 2-way RF Remote Doesn't Turn off after Remote Start

I am using the 2-way RF Remote (FTX64) on an EVO-One system. Things work great now, but there are times where the LED on the remote continues to flash after getting in the car and driving away. When remote started, I get in, put the key in the ignition, step on the brakes and drive away like normal. But when this happens, most of the time, the LED continues to flash green for about 10 minutes every 30 or so seconds. It's a bit of a distraction, especially when driving at night, to try to ignore this flash. Is there a reason the remote continues to flash? Is there a way to stop it?

Batteries Failing Quickly in FTX64-2W and Little to No Sound on Remote

I have the FTX64-2W RF kit for my remote start. The batteries that came in the unit lasted around 6 months. My wife had new Energizer CR2025 batteries installed and they only lasted about 2 weeks. I just got brand new Energizer CR2025 batteries and so far the remote works but I am getting next to no sound, it is there but very faint. When I removed the old batteries I checked their voltage and am getting around 2V on 1 battery and -1.5V on the other! Why would they be different #1 and why would one go reverse polarity #2. They were both installed in the correct orientation and had the factory plastic ring around the batteries. Please help as this will get expensive replacing batteries every couple weeks. Is it something where I can just purchase remotes separately from the RF kits?

My FTX64-2W remote LED is not lighting up normally

My FTX64-2W remote LED is not lighting up normally. When I press the remote start command, the engine runs but the remote LED shows one short burst of one green and one blue with no green blinks afterwards. Normaly, I would see 2 burst of green LED blinks indicating the engine has started and intermittent green blinks showing that the engine is running. Also when I disable the engine start, I get one short burst of one red and one blue blinks instead of two red blinks. I'm trying to figure out if the battery is dying and want to replace it. I got the remotes about three months ago. It seems to be to soon for the battery to be dead. How long should the battery last? I noticed through FAQ that the replacement battery should be 2025. How do you open the remote? I'm able to remove the two screws for the chrome part. How do you separate the black plastic housing? I wish not to force it apart. Is there a special way to separate the remote? Any help is much appreciated

FTX64-2W remote, one works one does not.

I got a pair of FTX64-2W remotes and the RF antenna. I installed the RF antenna and got one of the remote to work. I couldn't get the other remote programmed as it seems to act differently when I press the remote buttons. Do I need to reset the remote or something? Referring the remote that's not working, if I press either the lock, unlock, or aux button, I get a blue then red light. It lights up really quickly after another without pauses. Blue light then red light. I remembered the working remote showed a different color when I was programming it. Also, I was thinking about removing the remote battery to see it helps. I managed to remove the two little screws and pull apart the chrome piece. How do I separate the black remote housing? I don't want to crack/damage it by forcing it. Thanks in advance Update: Figured out what happened. The remote was accidentally locked. Unlocked by simultaneously pressing the aux and lock buttons together. The buttons responds as normal.

evo-all with ftx64-2w can't program cuz don't get yellow led after reb-blue sequence

I did the reset tpo blue to see if my ignition and canbus are ok and passed that ( blue led flashes after key to on. But when I try to program the remote keys I reset to red-blue then press reset for 5secs, but after that red-blue stays on. If I insert key then blue led flashes alone. Options I have programmed in are A1,A3,B1,B2,B3,C1 AND H2. when I saved it said options saved in upper right corner. In the flash manager the bottom right corner says Connection mode bypass and if I try to go remote starter it always says device not connected. Flashlink manager is at 3.54 EVO-ALL is at 74.26

Remote Start Fails Intermittently

Hello, I have an intermittent issue with my EVO-NIST1 and a FTX64-2W RF kit. The issue has happened 4-5 times were the car will fail the remote start. The 2-Way remote will confirm the command and give the green LED with ascending tone. The parking lights will come on but the car will not remote start. After about 10 seconds the parking lights will flash 3 times and the remote will give the red LED signal with descending tone. I read in the RF kit troubleshooting that this corresponds to the car not being in Ready mode or being shut down from the transmitter. The Ready mode doesn't seems likely as it's a PTS automatic transmission vehicle. Is there anyway to troubelshoot this scenerio? The majority of the time the remote start seems to work Ok and all the wiring connections are solid. Thanks!

FTX64-2W Rremote batteries failing after a few weeks

Hello, I have a 2011 Toyota Coralla (G-key) with a FORTIN EVO-ALL (Dealer Install). Stating with the origanl batteries, these remotes seem to drain their batteries within a few weeks. I have been trough 6 pairs of batteries with both remotes. I was told me that these types of remotes have had problems and FORTIN reccomends swapping them for "R9" or "R10" remotes. The dealer claims no knowlede have this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

FTX62-2W locks work but won't remote start 2015 RAM 1500

Installed the EVO-ALL with the CHRT6 Harness. Everything works with my key FOB's. I added the FTX64-2W with the RF-A2A adapter, ran the FLASH LINK and followed the programming, now the doors will lock and unlock but when I try to remote start, the green light on the remote flashes rapidly but the vehicle does not attempt to start. Should the light on the antenna come on at all after programming. Mine does not come on at all.

Range of RF kits compared to other autostarter kits

I have a customer looking to buy an auto starter for his 2015 Dodge ram. He had a Viper autostart in his last truck with an advertised range of 1 mile. Is that an accurate range for them? Any other autostarter kit I check has a range of 3000ft max. Is a Fortin FTX64-2W kit going to give a similar range as the Viper? Is Viper just false advertising? This customer does need a very long range for his application and I want to make sure that the evo-one with the FTX-64X will work before selling it to him. His Viper kit did work for him just fine.

Hi, Installation guide for FTX 64-2W says i need to connect to (-) igntion and starter with 750mA max output current, my vehicle has (+) ignition and starter. So, how do i invert the polarity and limit the output current to 750mA? If i need relay and resistor, then what value i need to use and how to connect them (a wiring diagram would help alot)? Installation guide for FTX 64-2W says (-) Lock/Armed does this "/" means or? and? ... Also, how do i limit the current this for signal to 750mA? My vehicle information is 2012 Toyota Camry LE G type key (80 bit) key start. Thanks,
