Hooked up Crimestopper LC4, EVO-ALL no longer responsive

Hey all, I have a 2008 Dodge Ram. I had an EVO-ALL and CHRT5 T-harness installed and working for a few weeks as a stand-alone. I then added a Crimestopper LC4 wired through as a DataLink connection. I followed the diagram exactly, connecting the constant 12V and the ignition wires, as well as one other wire that was required for my application (purple wire from T-harness to green/red from EVO-ALL 20-pin). Those two were actually necessary for the stand-alone function so they were done anyway. I got the Crimestopper working, it would unlock and lock my doors and start the truck, but then shut the truck off after about 5 seconds. I called Fortin to ask about this and was told to re-flash the EVO-ALL and take it out of stand alone mode because the wiring differences made it so that the EVo now saw the hood pin circuit showing an open hood, which shut the truck down. Made sense to me! I changed the EVO-ALL flash programming and turned off D1, stand alone mode. Hooked it back up (reporgrammed the EVO-ALL to the truck just to be sure) and now the EVO-ALL is totally non-responsive. Even when locking/unlocking the truck with the OEM remote, no orange light on theEVO (which it did before). When I press the lock and unlock buttons on the Crimestopper, I hear the Crimestopper unit clicking and the LED is blinking like it should, it's trying to tell the EVO what to do but the EVO isn't listening. Fortin tried telling me that I needed to do more to connect the Crimestopper but that's not correct. It should work just the way I have it, through the Data Link. The EVO has power, if I go thorugh the programming sequence the blue light comes on and blinks when it should...I can program it to the truck just fine. It's just not seeing the Crimestopper anymore! I'm thinking of changing it back to stand-alone and just grounding the hoodpin wire to see if I can get it to work that way. I ran out of time today to mess with it anymore, but I am beyond frustrated. My question is, should I go in and adjust anything in the EVO-ALL programming? Does anyone have any ideas?

Adding actual remote starter to EVO-ALL standalone

I added an EVO-ALL and a CHRT5 T-harness to my 2008 Dodge Ram to attempt to use it as a stand-alone starter with the "3X lock" feature. It works great, but the range is very poor on my factory fobs (like about 15 feet max). I looked into an RF Kit but after reading several reviews, I found that many times the RF kit ranges weren't much better than the OEM remotes.

I can get an Arctic Start AS800-S starter for cheaper than an RF kit anyway. Since the EVO-ALL is installed already, I figure I can just do the hardwire connections myself and use the Arctic Start remotes and starter "brain" to increase my range significantly.

My question is, do I have to change any of the programming in the EVO-ALL? I don't own a FlashLink updater, so I guess I would need to purchase one or somehow procure one. I just wasn't sure if it was necessary or if I could just wire in the Arctic Start according to the diagrams and have it work with the EVO-ALL currently set up as a standalone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's freezing and snowing here in NY!

Will the EVO-ALL do the 3x remote start in stand alone mode?

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I do have the FLU to update the settings to enable remote start and to update the firmware as needed. Will the evo-all unit do the 3x remote start using the OEM remote? Also, what is the wiring harness adapter, if any, I can use with this vehicle. Installed one of these before and it was a breeze.

Adding REVO-4 to EVO-ALL (EVO-CHRT5)

I have successfully installed an EVO-ALL in my 2008 Dodge Ram using the EVO-CHRT5 harness as a stand-alone starter using the "3X lock" function. I hardwired three wires, one for the ignition (yellow), one other one for data that my application required (red/green from 20 pin harness to purple), and one for the parking light feature. It works great but the problem is the range on my OEM fob is NOT great. I'd like to add a Crimestopper REVO-4 RF kit and toss my OEM fobs in the drawer for good! Now I know I will have to flash the EVO-ALL to see the Crimestopper REVO-4 remote and not the OEM fob. My question is... Will the REVO-4 unlock feature work? Basically, if I hook up the REVO-4, can I toss my OEM fob in the drawer? Seems to me that the EVO-ALL wouldn't be able to unlock and lock my doors for me unless I did some more hard-wiring? Or will it be able to lock/unlock through the CANBUS connection? Just kind of wondering what the EVO-ALL is capable of the way I currently have it wired (as outlined above) and if I will have to do anymore soldering. Thanks.

How to make vehicles parking lights turn on with Chrt5?

I have a CHRT5 system on my 2008 Dodge 1500. Everything works great (starts, stops, security features work) but I cannot get the parking lights to come on when the vehicle is running. I know it says the white and green wire, but it doesn't say from whih plug to take it from since there are multiple greens and white wires. Just need to know where I connect the wires from and to. Thank you very much

Evo-All Standalone and Crimestopper REVO-4 - Using Standalone Remote Start without 3-Lock-Press Command on OEM Remote

I have the Evo-All Standalone installed in my 2011 Ford Fusion. I have also installed the Crimestopper REVO-4 extended range antenna, which comes with a four-channel remote of its own (lock / unlock / trunkpop / start). The question is this -- can I disable the remote start functionality from the OEM remote (the three-lock press), while retaining the standalone remote start functionality? What I'm trying to accomplish is to use only the Crimestopper remote to start the car. Thanks!
