Evo one won’t remote start but will let the car continue to run after starting the car manually..

2017 Subaru WRX. Won't Remote start. Manual Trans. The yellow wire on the main harness (T-Harness) that goes to the clutch wire does nothing when trying to remote start. But the car will continue to run after I turn the key off.

MyCar and Fortin EVO-ONE with T-Harness setup on Subaru Outback 2017 Standard Key not working

I'm trying to add MyCar to a Fortin EVO-ONE installation on a Subaru Outback 2017.   The Fortin EVO-ONE works fine - I can start the car using the OEM Standard KEY/Remote without any issues. I followed the steps provided in the install guide to add the MyCar   Protocol is set up to Fortin2  using the FlashLink MAnager on EVO-One for RFKit Setup as Fortin in the MyCar application Settings.   I did the following steps to learn the MyCar into Fortin EVO-One 1- Cycle the ignition to the ON position. 2 - The YELLOW LED on top of the EVO-ONE should come ON. 3 - Press and Hold the EVO-ONE push button for 5 seconds. 4 - The parking lights and the RED LED on the side of the EVO-ONE will turn ON. 5 - Release the push button. 6 - Press and Release the push button 5x times. Everytime the push button is pressed the parking lights and the RED Led on the side of the EVO-ONE will blink. 7 - Then Press and Release the Brake pedal. 8 - Seconds later the RED LED on the side of the EVO-ONE will blink once to confirm that the MyCar ID has been learned to the EVO-ONE. 9 - Cycle the vehicle’s ignition to the OFF position to Exit the EVO-ONE programming   All steps succesful.      In the MyCar app I can see the voltage of the car and the GPS  location, however the START/STOP/LOCK/UNLOCK functions are not working from the MyCar application     Any ideas/help?   Thanks VO

Can't get into the car after remote-start

Hello, I purchased a second-hand Subaru WRX STi 2017 (manual, normal key) with Fortin Evo-one(?) installed and FTXDUO remote control. Remote start works ok (thank you for that - a great product!). The only problem is that after remote start I can not get into the car - buttons of original key do not work. If I press Unlock button on FTX, the car unlocks and then locks up immediately. I have to remote-stop the engine, only then I can use original key to unlock the door and get into the car. Something must be missing here, but what? Or am I doing something incorrectly?

THAR-ONE-SUB2 & EVO ONE on 2020 Subaru WRX PTS

I have installed the THAR-ONE-SUB2 in my US WRX per the instruction guide, page page 7/11 T-Harness - Automatic & Manual Transmission
https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/98951/evo-one_ig_rto_bi_sub2_wrx_2019_pts_b_98951.pdf

ASK:
1.) Why is the car not starting with the Yellow/Red and Yellow/Green separeted per the installation guide
2.) Does my US WRX have to follow the Canadian Vehicle steps, if yes why and if no what is the difference

Installation was simple as mainly 2 connectors and areplug N play. I master reset my Evo One, flashed the 2020 WRX firmware and follow the programming steps on page 8/11. When I get to step 5 to start the car, the car starts and shuts off immidiately, eventually not even turning the starter. The lights on the Evo One stay solid for Red and Blue and programming does not complete to follow up on the Dcryptor part. After a little troubleshooting I found that I can get the car to start if I reconnect the Yellow/Red and Yellow/Green wires I cut eariler making the car at least drivable again.

Tele-connect + horn wire??

Hi I have a 2017 Subaru Legacy(standard key) with Evo-One and I’m going to install the Tele-connect device and on the manual step2 to connect yellow wire to positive horn wire but the evo-one is already connected to the negative horn wire, do I still need to connect the yellow wire from the tele-connect to positive horn wire? i tried searching where/what color my cars positive horn wire but couldn’t find it. Also if I connected the horn wire from tele-connect do I need to disconnect the horn wire from EVO-One? thank you

2017 WRX cannot program Evo ONE

Hi, Today I hooked up all the wriring for my EVO one to my 2017 wrx premium with regualr key. I had this same unit installed in my 2013 wrx. I used the T-harness with my install. I hooked up everything per the instructions except the hood sensor. When going through programming, everyrthing is good on the first few steps. Until I get to step where. I press the program button 6 times. (at first it would flash and then go to solid red, after updating firmware it goes to solid red and blue). I go to start the car and it remains solid red and blue no change. Looking through the trouble shooting section, It says to check my yellow wire for voltage. How exactly do I check with my multimeter? (do i just poke a hole in the wire and test? ) if I do not get the required numbers what does this mean? Also, is the yellow wire A1 wire? Thank you!

Evo-One plus Viper remote start?

Okay, ive noticed that the only way to get status feedback is to use a Viper remote start while using a smartstart system. My question is this. Ive got an Evo-One, can i add a viper remote start with smart start? or would I need to swap out the evo-one for an evo-all?

2017 Subaru Outback PTS

If I install an EVO-one into a 2017 Subaru Outback PTS with a smart start (DSM300), will the OEM remote still work once started? Will the Door sensor's still work, meaning can I unlock the car by touching the door handle with the oem remote in my pocket? I really do not want to carry around an after market remote.
