Flashlink updater for mac book???

is there any way to get the flash link updater on my macbook lap top?? or do i have to have a microsoft computer to install the program on??

RFK 942 antenna not recognized by Flashlink 4 and Intermittent key fob operation

I've just installed a Evo All and RFK 942 on my 2015 GMC Sierra. No issues at all during install or programming and the system is working (sort of). The problem I'm having is this: intermittently the unit does not seem to receive commands from the remotes and/or no confirmation is sent back to the remotes. About 1/2 the time when pressing a button on the remote, I get the multiple blue LED flashes followed by the red LED and the beep indicating out of range. Or the vehicle responds but the key fob does not confirm it (no beeps or LED flashes on the key fob). It happens with both key fobs and distance from the vehicle does not matter. I can be 6 feet from the truck or 200 feet - same result (I haven't tried from any further away yet). I was thinking maybe there's an issue with the antenna and then I realized that the antenna firmware can be updated. I connected the antenna to the Flashlink 4 and it does not detect it. Does this confirm that the antenna is bad? Or am I doing something wrong? Just for context, I'm a professional Automotive Technician at a GM dealership and have some experience installing remote start systems. This is the first Fortin system that I've worked with. Edit: I tried again and managed to connect the Flashlink to the antenna. The antenna firmware is already up to date.

As many run to this forum when issues are present, just as I do, I want to take the time and thank everyone that has taken the time to answer my questions, along with others questions. I absolutely love Fortin products and will use nothing else anymore. Yes, there are solid reputable brands out there, but I have found FORTIN products the easiest and the best backed for DIYers as myself. THANK YOU ALL

XL202 rf-kit avec Evo-All Autonome

Bonjour, 

Est-ce qu'un Rf-kit XL202 avec manette Astrostart AF-RFS2625 2way, sur Evo-All Stand Alone, peut envoyer un message de shut down quelque seconde apres le demarrage? Et ce, sans que la manette d'émette de confirmation d'arrêt. Le véhicule shut down après 2 seconde (3 flash parking light), et ce de facon intermittente. Il va bien une journée, ensuite le trouble apparait. J'ai isolé, c'est bien seulement avec le Rf-kit. 

L'autre affaire c'est que ces manette Astrostart ne sont pas listé pour le XL202, mais fonctionne bien avec firmwire et programmation de Viper. Peut-être la le bogue.

Any new updates and revisions on Guide # 12971? Also, I have source out all of the other accesories except a shock sensor? any recommendations that you guys have tested and works?

Transponder Loop For Evo-All Availability

Does Fortin have a plug in loop I can use for key bypass on the Evo-All? I always end up cutting the end off a loop from a universal bypass and using it together with LED wiring to make my loops up, and end up tossing the universal bypass. (the loops they come with, the wire gauge is too big and doesn't work)

No response using 1-Way FM remote when cold, but works when car is warm.

Hi, E-300 2Way remote starter installed last fall (2014) with Evo-All in a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. 2-Way remote works perfectly, but 1-Way FM remote doesn't work when the car is colder than -15

Where can i find the diagrams for adding xl202 or smart start to evo modules

recently I saw that you can add aftermarket remotes or smart start/drone to a standalone evo module. Just wondering how to add both if possible?

evo start yellow wire

i just got an evo start lte and there's a yellow wire that says "ignition must be connected" but there's ignition 1 and ignition 2 on my harness and every thing seems to be working as its supposed its starts stops and opens/locks door. does yellow wire realy need to be connected??? there's absolutely no installation manual just some quick start thing. car is a 23 tundra. also millage and fuel levels are stuck at 0 will that update on its own or does this depend on the car?? also when i start car with ignintion switch parking lights work. when i do through the remote start i get no parking lights. i reflashed multiple times

cl7 and key fob

how do i get fortin key fobs to co exist with the cl7 telematics?. the port next to the one that the remotes are supposed to fit in are too small and i cant get to work with a y cable key fob wont work but i can hit button 3 times an put it into vallet mode when i put receiver in the cl7 harness. or do i have to get a fortin evo lte for both to work??? i want telematics but still want to use the fortin remotes to arm/disarm the alarm part with out the oem remotes dissarming since they are prone to relay attacks
