Does EVO-ONE Support Kia's New Anti-Theft Update

Hey guys,

So Kia has released a new firmware update for their cars in order to deal with the rise in car thefts. The update is applied at the dealership. I've been thinking about getting the update, but I need to make sure my Evo-One will still remote start the engine after the changes are made.

I have a 2020 Kia Forte with a push-button fob. From what I've gathered, after the update, the BMS must receive the unlock command from the KeyFob in order for the engine to start. If the car isn't unlocked and I were to try to start it, it would end up panicing for 60 seconds.

I know the EVO-One already unlocks the doors over CanBus, but does it support the update Kia is applying to our cars? Will it still remote start the car after changes are made?

Do I need a to update my new EVO-ONE ..

I just purchased an EVO-ONE for my Kia Sedona 2014 (S/N: 002B04246972) and doesn’t have a bar code stamped on the back label just a Qcode and a "Secure Update" label. Q: Do I still need to use the "Flash-Link Updater" to update or reprogrammed my module? If yes, is my module compatible with”Flash-Link updater"? BTW, I got my EVO-ONE from plugnplaykits.com Many Thanks,

How do I set up rear defrost on the Evo One MyStart2?

Hi, I have a 2020 Kia Sportage Push-To-Start. I am installing the Evo-One on it at this moment and I also have to set up the Rear Defrost + Trunk Open with the MyStart2 (Version 3.2.00). How do I add the aux in the MyStart2 for the Rear Defrost + Trunk Open?

Installation Guide Evo-One: https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/81611/evo-one_ig_reg_bi_kia-sportage_2017_pts_b_81611.pdf

2nd.. Is there a way to lock the doors right after you close the door (lets say withing 10 secs)?

Thank You

**Edit** I found out trunk open is already set up with the MyStart2 so that works while I use it from the phone. Now Rear Defrost.. How do I set it up? I see it in the aux while I set up the rear defrost from phone but it doesnt do anything. Im guessing I need to tap on a wire?

How do I get guide #37131 for CAN Bus programming?

The troubleshooting guide for my 2011 Kia Forte suggests that I reade guide #37131 for programming the CAN Bus only. I do not know how to find this guide on your site. Can you help? I cannot finish programming my EVO-ONE because it cannot communicate with the CAN-BUS. When I turn the key on when the blue LED is on solid, it just goes off til I turn the key off. No communication at all with the CAN BUS. The wires are correct per the wire diagram. The CAN High wire has 2.72v and the CAN Low reads 2.3V. I Need Help!!
