EVO-Chrt5 connected to Crimestopper RS7-G5 via DataLink

Already have a successful install of the Evo-Chrt5 (option C) and programmed oem key (3x lock)...vehicle starts fine. Now I'm integrating the Crimestopper RS7-G5 unit (via DataLink) and was wondering if there's any tested true and tried specific diagram-flowchart manual for these two units anywhere...or somebody on here can help point me towards the right path. Thank you for time and consideration in advance.

Prius 2008 PTS Evo-all + crimestopper RS7-G5

Trying to install that remote starter with a fortin evo all bypass ,  Fortins manual calls for Ignition 1 (+) and Ignition 1 (-) wire that should come from the remote starter and Im having trouble identifying these two. Can anyone help ? Is it the high current six pin connector on the remote starter ? heres a link to their manual  https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/45571/evo-all_toyotaprius_0409_b20110610.pdf    Also It calls for a connectnio of IGN1 + at the fusebox , anyone knows which one it is ?   Thank you

No persistent trunk status using EVO ALL and Crimestopper RS7 on 2005 G35

Not sure if this is intentional, or simply not supported, but I've noticed that my 2-way remote starter does not correctly show the status of the trunk. Since the system is 2-way, I can see whether the doors are locked/unlocked, opened/closed and whether the hood is open/closed. These are all persitent, so they will remain on the key fob until their status is changed. The only thing missing is that for some reason I cannot see the status of the trunk. I can open the trunk using the key fob, but it does not show that the trunk is open or closed. None of this is manually wired up, it is all CANBUS. There should be the "trunk status" which is supported by the EVO ALL and the Crimestopper RS7 according to the manuals. There is actually even a dedicated wire in this car which goes low when the trunk is open. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to get the trunk status working.

Brake kill not working

Evo-All, CHR5 T-Harness, Crimestopper RS7-G5, 2007 Jeep Patriot Limited (4x4) 2.4L w/ automatic transmission. Remote start works, as does lock/unlock, from ALL REMOTES (2 factory key/remotes and Crimestoper remotes). The brake kill without the key in and turned is not working. I literally drove the vehicle around the block with NO keys even I the vehicle. Also, key take-over not working. If remote started, and key put in and turned to run, 2-way remote still chirping and showing that the run time timer is still going.

Lock and brake status not working through datalink

I've already solved this problem, but found this to be an excellent forum for remote start questions so I'm writing this in order to help others that may run into the same problem I did.

Installed a Crimestopper RS7-G5 with an EVO-ALL.  Remote start, unlock, even the tailgate open worked fine, but there were two problems:

Pressing lock on the Crimestopper remote would lock and immediately unlock the doors; brake status wasn't being received by the Crimestopper (so the remote start couldn't be cancelled by pressing the froot brake).

Tested grouding the purple wire on the EVO-ALL to confirm that it properly controlled the locks.  That worked as expected so the problem was in the Crimestopper.

After a bunch of messing around and reading other questions here, I set the option on the Crimestopper to use the Fortin DataLink protocol.  The default option is supposed to already be set to the Fortin protocol, but for some reason, this Crimstopper unit was incorrect from the factory.

(This might be the same problem as posted in this question, but that question was never fully resolved.)

2009 Hyundai Santa Fe with Evo-all and Crimestopper RS7-G5

I am planning to install remote starter in a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe and want to combine Evo-all with a Crimestopper RS07-G5, but have a few questions before I proceed:

a) As you can see from the picture below, (~)Data wire in pin 6 is absent. Does it mean for SURE that the car is not equipped with an immobilizer bypass?

b) Will I still need to tap to Door Lock/Unlock wires from RS07-G5 harness or Evo-All CanBus will take care of doors Lock/Unlock?

c) How will Evo-All be powered?

d) According to Connection 13 of the Evo-All guide (page 18 of 46), I will need to connect Black wire=>Foot Brake status, Pink wire=>Tachometer and Dk.Blue wire=>(-)While Running to corresponding wires on  the Crimestopper Unit and Yellow Wire=>Car's Ignition.  Does it mean that I will not need to use any other wires on the RS07-G5 unit if I interconnect these two with a Data-Link Cable?

Thank you in advance,

Michael
