OL-RF-52-SST no LED for remote programming with EVO ONE

Vehicle is a 2005 Buick Rainier with standard key. Installed the EVO ONE (remote start firmware 0.44) and the OL-RF-52-SST about a year ago (May 2020). Everything worked OK. The truck had an engine failure and was in the shop for several months with the battery disconnected. When powered back up, the Omega RF remotes no longer work. OEM remotes work. I followed the directions for remote programming as listed below. My antenna LED is not lighting up at all.

The unit was intalled with a custom T-harness for power using OEM connectors and automotive-grade wire. The 30A inline fuse is good. The harness to the antenna looks OK. I verified the unit still has FW 0.44 via my Flash-Link 4 programmer.

Here's the process I tried to program the remotes:

Flash 0.44 into the remote starter and do the following to program:

- ign on off on, led on antenna will light up solid.

- 4x on brake pedal. It should blink once with each brake press.

- Then send lock from each remote, should blink once again to confirm it programmed.

Disregard: Evo One no red LED during programming

UPDATE- Apparently a module has failed on the truck, so this appears to be unrelated to the EVO install. Closing the post.

2005 Rainier, EVO One. Wired per diagram. Module had FW 70.18, flashed to 70.39 since I'm using an RF kit OL-RF-52-SST.

Followed vehicle-specific programming per guide 23261 rev 20190514:

1) Hold program button, plug in power connector.

2) Wait for solid blue LED, release button. Blue LED remains on.

3) Plug in 20-pin harness and RF antenna harness

4) Key on, blue LED out, no red LED. No LED at all.

Read & followed this post for the same year Chevy truck:

2005 Alavanche can’t get the red led to come on during programming

Reset per the linked post in the above post:

1) Flashed v. 0.99

2) Disconnected from flasher, connected power plug (Red/Yellow/Blue LEDS on solid)

3) Disconnected main plug.

4) Reflashed to 70.18

5) Setting protection is not on

6) Reset by following above-

7) Hold programming button

8) Plug in power connector, wait for solid blue LED, release button

9) Blue LED off, red LED on then off, yellow LED on solid. This is where the red LED is suppsed to flash.

EVO-One Remote start function not working- everything else does

2006 Cdillac CTS base, standard key, EVO-One FW version 70.18, remote start v. 1.24. Wired & programmed per the diagram, 6-pin wires soldered to ignition switch wiring, using Fortin White wire as 2nd accessory. Module programmed per instructions- Program button held, power connector plugged in, Blue LED, plugged in remaining connectors (20-pin, valet, and antenna), key on, wait for Red LED, wait for Red LED flashing, start engine, hold for 3 seconds, Yellow LED, turn engine off. Using Omega RF-51 remotes. They were programmed per instructions and can lock/unlock and pop trunk. Nothing happens when remote start function is tried.

EVO One and Excalibur RF51-EDP no RF option available

I am installing an EVO One into a 2006 Cadillac CTS. I have the module, the Flash-Link, and an Excalibur RF-51-EDP RF remote kit with antenna. The RF-51 shows as compatible with the EVO One. The instructions for enabling it appear to be outdated. I am using Flash-Link v.4. My remote start firmware is 1.24. My bypass firmware is 70.34. The instructions for using the RF-51 show a menu that does not exist on my screen- "Click configuration then unit options." EDIT: For clarification, I have no options past section "D". I think the RF kit compatibility is section "H". There is no RF comptibility option for either the bypass or remote start. Should I downgrade the Flashlink software? The instructions say Flash-Link-2 (I can't find any directions for V4), so I'm presuming this was a feature that used to be available.

EVO-ONE or EVO-ALL for T11 Pro on a 2006 Cadillac CTS

I have been doing some reading here & elsewhere regarding my car. I bought it used & the OEM remote does not work for it. In lieu of making a trip to a dealer & spending some money to have it programmed, I want to add an aftermarket system with remote start. All I need to do with the remote is lock/ulock, trunk release, and remote start. I have decided on buying the T11 Pro remote and ANT-2WDSS antenna. When I input my year/make/model, it suggests both the Evo One and Evo All. It says the All does not do remote start and is not compatible with remote kits, which seems odd. So my first question is which unit should I buy so I can do what I wnat to do and use the remote I want to use? My next question involves interfacing the T11 with either unit. I presume I'll need a programmer, but is there anything else to buy other than the remote and antenna?

2006 Cadillac CTS using unprogrammed GM remote with EVO One

I have a 2006 CTS that has unprogrammed remotes. SInce it costs a lot to program them (special tool), I am looking into adding a different system for lock/unlock as well as adding remote start. I'd like to use a newer GM remote that has the remote start button vs having to press the lock button 3x. Is this possible? If not, can I use my existing remotes or will they still need to be programmed to the car?

Evo One programming key bypass. Does not finish step 4.

I had an Evo One install in my 06 trailblazer. I replaced it, and installed it on an 05 GMC Envoy XL. I did a master reset on starter and bypass, using recommended updates. When trying to program with the button pressed, I plug in the six pin connector to get to the blue led, I then plug in the remaining connectors. Turn the key to the on position the blue light go out but no other lights come on. If I turn the key back to the off position the blue light return. I'm only using all wires from the 6 pin connector. The data, the park light, the horn, the brake, and the A1 ignition wires off the 25 pin connector. And antenna and valet button connection. All wires have continuity though connector and wires. Tried a spare Evo One that had on hand, got the same results.

Is the compustar T11 3 mile remote fully compatible with the evo one and evo all?

I wanted to know if the compustar T11 is fully compatible with the evo one. Like does the 2 way status work? The temperture sensor?

Compustar T11 Pro abnormalities

This isnt a question. This is meant as a tool for anyone who experienced the same problems as myself with no real correct answers to be found online. I recently installled and had issues with using the compustar t11 pro rf kit with my evo-one. When using the valet switch and RF remote to program functions and options the following button mapping is correct: Lock: 1 unlock: 2 start: 3 trunk: 4 Also when I orginally purchased the T11 pro the two-way remote that came with the kit did not function correctly, which Compustar quickly remedied. However when programming the new remotes(2wt11r-ss, 1wg8r-ss) to the evo-one with the newest firmware installed I had to press the trunk button on both remotes w/ a 2.5 second hold to get them to register with the evo-one. All the strange button mapping aside. Lock/Unlock/remote start/etc, two-way functions, and vehicle temperature reading on the remote all function normally.
