2015 Dodge Dart Manual Transmission EVO ONE No Remote Start Following Installation

2015 Dodge Dart, Manual Transmission. EVO One SN 002B04248404 with both factory key fob (tip style) and  Crimestopper Revo 4.1 Extended Range fobs. Installed using CHAR7 T harness.

Installed per guidelines. Seemed straight forward. Programmed Module using default suggestions. Decryptor appeared to work without error.

Was able to start vehicle using factory key fob. Performed manual ready procedure…. Brake pedal, E brake, removed ignition key. Vehicle continued to run. Exited the vehicle and closed the door. At this point was unable to get the vehicle to stop running. Vehicle’s dash did indicate when the door was open and subsequently closed. Confirmed all  other doors and trunk were closed throughout the installation and testing. Hood groundout was wired but the hood remained closed and we confirmed the hood pin adjustment wasn’t grounding the module out.

In one attempt, we started the vehicle, performed the manual ready mode procedure, exited the vehicle, waited 20 seconds, and then using the Revo fob lock functionality was able to shut off the vehicle but still, click 3 unlocks or the factory keyfob or “start” on the Revo fob did not result in the car starting.

(8 hours later……)

After multiple attempts and rechecking the wire harness for correctness, reviewing the question and answers info on Fortin, and praying to the “Remote Gods”, we gave up.

Any advice? Also… help me understand how many times I can reset the module and run the decryptor application. In an attempt to get this working, I think I performed the operation 4x’s.

I seem to remember you can brick the module if you run the crypto too many times. Then I read something about as much as you want within a 5 year of module manufacturing date. Please clarify this. I certainly don’t want to “brick” the module.

Regards,

Rob

update: Confirmed that the EVO One module cannot be "bricked". Worst case scenario is that it has to be reset by Fortin Support, but that it can be reprogrammed manytimes (at least for the same vehicle) manytimes without losing it's functionality.

Have been able to get the car to run after removing the key from the ignition, but have not been able to get the car to shutoff when closing drivers door as indicated as a step or procedure in the "Manual Ready Mode Manual". Was able to get the vehicle to shut off via the start option on the aftermarket Revo 4 FOB, but that seemingly put the vehicle out of "ready mode" status as it would never allow for a successful remote start.

Still scouring for answer as to why the vehicle will not shut off on its own when exiting the vehicle thus remaining in "ready mode" and allowing the remote start functionality to work properly.

2015 Jeep Wrangler Factory FOB with Remote Start Button Compatability with EVO ONE and Range

Wrangler currently has factory remote start. The FOB range is not good. Considering EVO ONE and Crime stopper Extended Range Revo 4 installation to improve startup range. My concern is I don't want to carry the Revo FOBs since I have a factory key with the remote start button. Here's my question, given the installation scenario described with the EVO ONE and the extended range antenna, can I program the module to recognize the factory remote start button and eliminate the need for the additional fobs? If yes, will I still benefit from the extended range from the antenna? I suspect the module can recognize the factory fob start button, but the benefit of the extended range will not be realized without using the aftermarket fobs.

Parking Light Relay +12V 4-pin

2018 F-150 STD KEY W/Keyless

I've figured out most of the wiring diagram. The one part puzzling me is the optional "Parking light relay." I understand that I splice one parking light wire, and connect it to two of the relay terminals. Then the other parking light wire looks like I do an inline splice, and take it to another pin on the relay. Finally I need to pull a wire from the 20 pin connecter, to the relay. Finally it shows the +12V 4-pin, do I need to pull a 12v power source to this relay? is that what the diagram is asking?

2016 Fusion RAP stopping when engine is shut off remotely or times out not working

2016 Ford Fusion, Standard Key, EVO ONE with T Harness. All connections made including those listed as optional. Relay used for Parking Lights, Driver Door Pin on pin 33 of BCM green violet to A17 ... A18 as per instructions. No T Taps - everything soldered. Remote start functionality fine.  With the RAP connection the voltage from the auto's bcm side is 10v not 4 or 5.  If I start the car with the remote, let it run one minute, hit the start button again to shut the engine off, the parking lights stay on 2 mins and the radio stays on for 10 minutes. I timed them. Also if I let the car run 15 minutes and essentially time out, the engine shuts off but the radio and lights stay on for 10 minutes. I was expecting the radio to shut off instantly just as if I had open the drivers door. Look forward hearing comments.
