EVO-One and Linkr-Lt1 not able to pair

Can't program the Linkr-Lt1 to the EVO-One.

I have the EVO-One installed and working fine but when i installed the LinkR-Lt1 and try to pair or "learned to the EVO-One" i can't get the evo one to learn it.

following MyCar instructions:

1-cycle ignition to on

2- yellow LED comes on on the EVO-One

3- Press and hold EVO-One push button for 5 Secs but the parking lights and the Red LED on the side of the EVO-One do not come on

here is what i checked so far:

made sure "Fortin2" is checked under Remote Starter Mode in flshlink manager double checked the wiring from Linkr-Lt1 to EVO-One  the Linkr-Lt1 module has both solid lights on

Thanks for any help

2015 Mazda 3. Have everything hooked up and programmed. The EVO ALL runs the sequence but doesn’t start the car

I have everything set up and programmed on my 2015 Mazda 3 push to start but when I do the remote sequence it responds and the evo picks it up but the vehicle does not start. I have not yet installed a hood pin or valet switch but I was under the impression you didnt have to for it to work. i have now tried a master reset and now when I try to do the key bypass it only flashes red after doing the on off sequence with both keys. Have I bricked my unit?

How do I ground the valet switch

Im installing on a 2015 Mazda 3 and I’m seeing that the valet switch can be used in place of the hood pin. I see it just needs to be grounded? Does this mean I just need to splice one wire from the switch to the blue wire on the harness and then the other wire to another ground wire or Somewhere that’s metal? Also, if I install this and decide I’d like to change a setting on it, can I just unplug it from the car and then hook it up and change the setting and plug it back in? Or will I need to reprogram it with my keys and everything all over again? Would there also happen to be a way to control the front and rear defrosters with an added mobile remote start app? Sorry for all the questions!
