2019 4Runner alarm going off during remote start

Installed the EVO-ONE/TOY-9/RFK441 into a 2019 standard key 4Runner. Not every start, but most starts are followed by the alarm going off. It's keeping the customer from using the starter out of anxiety. Any ideas? Did I program the EVO wrong? Did I program the RFK441 remotes wrong?

2008 4Runner - KEY BYPASS Programming procedure fails, does not detect key

I just installed an EVO-ONE with T-harness on my 2008 Toyota 4Runner. All 7 connections per 24121 have been completed. The 20-pin white harness and the 6-pin T-harness are connected to the EVO-ONE. When I attempt to program the Key bypass, it fails at step 5. The EVO-ONE does not appear to detect the key insert and the red led stays lit and does not start flashing. I double checked all connections and they appear in tact. The EVO-ONE is running the following firmware based on the recommendation of the Flashlink Manager software. Remote Starter: v1.24 Bypass: v79.54 Any ideas on what is causing this? thanks!

EVO ONE ONLY RESPONDS TO OEM KEY FOB WHEN IGNITION IS ON (2019 4RUNNER)

2019 4Runner with T harness (Toy1 & Ty 30) . Double checked all wiring for correct location and proper connection. Everything on the installation side is good.

Problem...

I cannot use the 3x lock function as the Evo-One will not blink (blue led or anything else) with the key off. I can turn the ignition on and it blinks and responds to OEM fob lock/unlock. I can start the vehicle and press the lock button on the fob 3x and then turn the ignition off / remove key and the vehicle will stay running. I can also press the lock button 3x again and the truck will shut off with the fob..But then it will not respond anymore..

So the programming is correct, the wiring is correct, but for some reason on this 2019 4runner (standard key/t harness install), the door lock/unlock doesn't read when the ignition is off.

The evo one is set up with monitor OEM option on

Valet mode is verfied off and yellow loop is cut

All programming of the immobilizer and canbus was successful, and I repeated the process again just to ensure everything was good.

I have also tried various firmware versions and it is now back at the original/highest availible

I can start the vehicle and press lock 3x and turn the ignition off and remove the key and the vehicle stays running, so everything is set up, but for some reason with the ignition turned off, the evo one doesnt register the lock/unlock commands on the keyfob.

I don't have the service number available right now, mounted the unit behind the dash and did not write the number on it down.

my guide for install is: Guide # 72361

Evo One only responds to OEM key fob when ignition is on (2018 4Runner)

2018 4Runner with T harness. Installed with all wires soldered/taped. So the programming is correct, the wiring is correct, but for some reason on this 2018 4runner (standard key/t harness install), the door lock/unlock doesn't read when the ignition is off. My 2016 4Runner worked as it should, reading the lock/unlock regardless of ignition switch position, so not sure if its something in the newer vehicle (installation guide shows to be for up to 2018), or if there is something wrong internally with the new evo-one (purchased 2 weeks ago, installed Saturday 12-10-17)

2008 4Runner Evo One RF Remote/Antenna not working

I have a 2008 Toyota 4runner with an EVO One and RF642W remote. The unit is programmed for use with the RF antenna however its not communicating with the remote. The antenna only blinks one blue light when it is plugged into the evo one. Other than that I get nothing when I am trying to program remotes etc. Also, after I program the evo one, the red led light stays illuminated after it blinks when I insert the key into the ignition.

2006 Toyota 4runner: Auto headlights not shutting off after remote start (EVO-ONE)

I recently installed an EVO-ONE on a 2006 4Runner Limited. This vehicle has daytime running lights that come on as soon as the vehicle is running, so I elected not to hook up the parking light wire on the EVO-ONE. Additionally, this vehicle is equipped with auto headlights, and the vehicle's owner prefers to leave the headlight switch in the AUTO position. One quirk I've noticed: If the vehicle is remote started but the doors have not been opened, the auto headlights will not shut off after the vehicle has been started. Once a door has been opened, the auto headlights will shut down after 30 seconds or so. The quirk is not limited to remote starts. I've replicated the problem using the vehicle's key. If I start the vehicle up, then shut it down without getting out, the auto headlights remain on. I suspect the auto headlight system is tied into the door switches somehow. Is there a way to hook up the EVO-ONE so that it it can shut down the auto headlights? There is no mention of the auto headlights in the guides I have downloaded for the EVO-ONE and the 2006 4Runner. Thank you, Darren

2006 Toyota 4runner: EVO-ONE No yellow LED when ignition switch is on

Hello. I am in the process of installing an EVO-ONE on a 2006 Toyota 4runner, with a t-harness. I was able to successfully program the vehicle's key to the bypass module (red LED flashes 10x upon insertion of the key, then goes out). The remote start module does nothing when I push Lock 3x on the OEM remote, nor can I get it to remote start with the Crimestopper REVO 1-button RF kit. In my own troubleshooting, I found that I have a solid ground to the EVO-ONE, and that the ignition wires at the 6-pin plug are all doing what they should (IGN1, IGN2, start 1, start 2). The module has mode 2.4 programmed, as well as 20.2 as instructed in guide #19291. I am also getting a good IGN+ signal to the yellow wire in the 20-pin plug. I do know in my previous EVO-ONE installs on other vehicles, the module should respond with a yellow LED whenever the ignition switch is in the ON position. And that the blue LED should flash when lock/unlock button is pushed on the OEM remote. None of these are happening in this case. Is there something I overlooked, or do I potentially have a bad unit?

Dual EVO-ALL modules and external RS - 2015 Toyota 4Runner Ltd w/PTS

I'm looking to gather some information regarding for an installation into a 2015 Toyota 4Runner Limited w/PTS. Since the EVO-ALL, when used for remote start with take over can only be used with an external remote starter module, it seems all of it's CAN-BUS functions must be disabled, and it is restricted to bypassing the IMI/IMO authentication of the vehicle. As a result, none of the monitoring options such as in standalone mode, or external RS mode w/out takeover are available. Can I wire a second EVO-ALL unit to my R/S (Viper 5706v) in external R/S mode w/out takeover to function as the interface between the CAN-BUS system and the R/S? This bypass would have the immobilizer functions disabled of course, since the first module would be handling that function. Visually represented, it would be: VIPER 5706V ----(directwired)----- EVO-ALL #1 in external R/S w/takeover for PTS | ----------------------(d2d)----------------EVO-ALL #2 in external R/S WITHOUT takeover The reasoning for this is to maintain the following: 1. Remote start with 1 mile range with full takeover capabilities 2. Interface with smartkey system to unlock doors, disarm, etc. Thanks for any answers you can provide.

Can the EVO One be used as a remote start/remote keyless entry module on a 2006 Toyota 4runner?

I'm looking at installing a remote start on a 2006 Toyota 4runner. I looked up the vehicle-specific instructions and saw that the EVO One could be used as a immobilizer bypass and remote start, but there's no mention if this unit could operate the door locks and dome light. I'm most likely going to get a RF kit with door lock buttons like the RF642W so that the locks can be operated with the vehicle running (my understanding is the OEM remote stops working once the vehicle is running). I don't see any way to hard wire the power door locks, dome light, brake switch, etc. in the vehicle specific guide. Is there a generic install guide available for the EVO One that shows where these items need to be plugged in? I'd like to review the installation specifics to make sure the EVO One will suit my needs. Thanks for your help!

Is there a way to control evo-one remote start with OEM 2007 4Runner remote?

I'm confused by this unit and what it does. I printed the vehicle specific installation instructions and installed accordingly. Went to start programming the remote start portion and quickly learned that it cannot be programmed without a remote kit. purchased a FLU-100.2 and plugged the evo-one into my computer expecting to be able to program the remote start functions with no luck. I was expecting this unit to work like any other oem remote start interface. I just want to be able to start my vehicle without the need to carry another fob. Should I pull it and install a 15 year old Automate remote start that will simply do what I want?
