FACTORY ALARM COMES ON

I installed the device on my car 2010 Chrysler Town & Country (Guide # 94291 EVO-CHRT4)

 and the device works fine, but there are two problems:

1-When I start the car with the OEM remote 3x lock, the horn/alarm comes ON.

2-When the engine is turned off from the OEM remote the car dashboard screen and the radio remain on

any thoughts on fixing that??????

 

Note: I only connected T-HARNESS EVO-CHRT4 without any other wires to car

Do I have to connect this wire ?

Hi

In Guide # 94291 for 2010 Chrysler Town & Country there is a wire (D1 Yellow/Green (+) IGNITION in 6 PIN CONN) In the drawing it must be connected with Yellow wire in the T-HARNESS EVO-CHRT4 IGNITION BARREL

My question to you is, do I have to connect this wire? because all the people on YouTube have not connected this cable

Having being remote started stops responding to remote unless really near by the car

I got EVO-CHRT4 (with the flashlink, so updated everything to up-to-date at that point) for Chrysler Town & Country 2013 in early Dec 2015, and installed it somewhere mid December 2015. I don't have FW versions from top of my head, and the unit is mounted in the car and it is cold outside ATM (NH). Originally everything worked out splendidly. But since probably a month ago (I haven't done anything to the car since then, may be washed it once or twice ;) ) I have started to observe that having started the car remotely, the car stops responding to the fob/remote -- I can't unlock the car, or open side doors, anything, UNLESS I come really close to the car, like to the driver's door. I have tried with the 2nd fob/remote -- the same story -- no reaction. What could be the reason? I did recently change battery in one of the remotes. Car does pick up my presses originaly from about 60-100m.

parking lights start flashing randomly while driving the vehicle using a EVO-CHRT4 and a lcpro-4 starter

While driving down the road the flashers will start blinking on and off then it will go away for a couple of minutes then it will start again and so on.
