Would not command start with diode installed on ignition wire, removed diode now command start works.

Installed an auto start command start with Fortin evo-all bypass with correct connection, software version and successful programming of the module tach is also learned. With the diode installed the command start attempts to start but does not turn over. I removed the diode and now it works fine. Could I possibly have a bad diode? And what is the purpose of the diode? I released the vehicle to the customer just wondering if I should get it back in to reinstall another diode and retest.

vehicle starts with door open

vehicle starts with the door open. Also if you remote start the vehicle with the door open then turn the key on then off to shut down the engine a few seconds later the vehicle starts again. the brake pedal was not pressed at any time.

doors lock right after commanded to unlock

I installed a evo all with autostart command start. everything is connected correctly the only option i have set on the bypass module is C1 and F3 D2D communication. everything works as it should starting, lock, but the doors quickly lock after being commanded to unlock. Also when I disconect the bypass module from the vehicle it locks the doors.
