2008 Honda CRV, blue light flashing slowly after programming

Following guide #57701 I have installed an EVO-ONE service no:002b07 184652 into a 2008 Honda CRV. Programming steps 1-5 appear to go fine, at step 6 when i turn off the ignition the blue light starts flashing slowly and does not turn off. I've verified wire connections and unplugged the module and attempted to start. The security light flashes and will not start. Any idea what I have done wrong?

2017 chev silverado with evo-all 001a06 743376 will not program

triple tested all the wiring, power, ground, data, with multimeter and all seem fine. this is the third truck i am installing on. had lots of dificulty getting the first two too program but they eventually did. this truck i flash the modual, istall it in vehicle with program button, yellow, press five times, wait for yellow light to flash then stay on, insert key and turn on, the yellow and red lights come on together and stay on for about a second then start flashing continuouslly. this with the recomended software 70.30. i have another module flashed with the latest, 70.31 beta. with this one the unit acts like it should, with the key on the yellow light goes out and the red one on, turn the key off and remove, wait five seconds and reinstall, turn ignition on, the blue and red lights come on and flash, then the yellow flashes, then the yellow goes out and that is it, nothing else happens. but at this stage i can go through the decription and it says complete, unit will still not start the vehicle. push the lock with the doors closed 3 times and no lights on the module. even with the unlock before option. really racked my brain and i can not figure it out, any suggestions will be greatly apreciated. i have two or three more of these to do.

Vehicle remote starts with ground on A8

I've got the EVO-ALL installed for stand alone remote start operation but during a functional test it starts with the hood switch grounded. The hood switch circuit(A8) is being used as a safety override switch. Applied ground directly to pin A8 then commanded a remote start and it still starts normally. Is this due to there being a factory hood switch over riding the evo hood switch circuit?
