EVO One 2010 F150 remote start not starting

I have a 2010 F150 automatic transmission, and a EVO one. I cannot get the car to remote start. When prorgamming with 2 keys the car does not start on step 8, is this normal? I have also tryed one key and decrypting it, the data link program says it is successful. On three press of the OEM Remote lock button I see the blue light flash and hear the EVO ONE clicking but nothing else happens. At one point I had it where the red light was coming on but no more. Also, i did not wire for door pin, must I make that connection? Thanks for your help Mike
