2013 Focus doesn't shut off automatically after remote start

Hi, My 2013 remote-starts fine, but never shuts off automatically after remote-starting. The car would run itself out of gas if I didn't manually shut it off by doing the 3X-lock-button press on the remote. As far as I can gather the max amount of time that the EVO-ALL is supposed to allow the engine to run after remote-starting is 15 minutes for a gas-engine car. Does anyone know what can cause this behavior in the unit?
