Do I need two keys for a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 Diesel

Hi, I"m Looking at adding the fortin Evo all to my truck and i wanted to confirm two things. Firstly when i go to flash the module it says for the T harness THAR-GM5 but fortin gives you instructions for the t harness THAR-GM7 and theres not option to select the GM7 only the 5 could i still use the 7 and flash it as the 5. My second question is do i still need two keys to program or would i be able to just use one

Evo GMT-4 will not program for 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 Diesel

I purchased an EVO GMT-4 for installation in a 2008 GMC Sierra SLT 2500 HD. After instalation of the unit with the T-Harness, I attempted to program the unit. I followed the directions, but after I turned he key, instead of the blue light flashing, it just turns of and stays off. I attempted the programming several times to no availl It came with: Hardware Vr. 6 Firmware Vr. 70.16 Date: 11/2016 EVO-GMTx Preloaded
