I installed a Excliber (Omega) remote start on a 2005 Acura TL (base). When installing the Honda-SL3 according to instructions, the LED light on bypass never flashed to indicate programming. The engine will crank using remote start but it won't run and "Immobilizer" light flashes on drivers information screen. I have called Tech Support twice and was told to:
1. "ground the blue data wire"
2. "confirm Version 4.03 or higher"
3. "ensure yellow wire is reading 12V when key is in ON position"
All of these things did not solve the problem. I have checked ignition harness connections twice (used Configuration Type 1) and they all check out.
If the wiring was not correct on the first attempt to program the bypass module, would this cause it to not program when the wiring connections were corrected on any later attempts?
I am losing patience with this situation. Please help with this issue.
