2005 DURANGO won't start?

i installed the fortin evo rs preloaded to my 05 durango using schematic H and the device makes a sound like its about to turn on the vehicle but then nothing happens. all it does is lock my doors. secondly how do i connect the diode to the key sense wire? am i suppose to bridge the diode to both the key sense and ignition one or do use seperate diodes for both wires? and on the schematic it shows that i need a seperate remote start? or where do i get the ground wire for the 4-pin datalink wire ?
