2013 GTI PTS evo-all can't remote start

recently i install a remote starter (brand compustar) with evo all the car works fine for a week and now sometimes when you press start and it won't turn on the engine but the remote tells me the car started i have notice that when it's not working the yellow steering wheel sign is light up it seems like can't detect the key or program error please let me know me the answer thanks btw, the car will remote start fine sometimes too
