EVO-All and CHRT4 - no connection type option

Greetings, Programming an EVO-ALL for install in a 2012 Grand Cherokee PTS, planning to use a CHRT4 T-harness for install. When programming the unit with the FLASH-LINK, firmware 59.02 in the section for selecting 'Connection Type', it only presents 'Wire-to-wire' option...is that correct?

Hello I am trying to install my fortín Evo Chrt4 i am running into the issue in step 1 and 2 when I plug in the power while holding the button the the Evo the lights won’t stop flashing (red yellow blue) I read a little on the FAQ page and seems like I may need to flash but I read a colleagues reply on another post that said if I provide a S/N number you would be able to tell if the module has been flashed or not. S/N: 001A07 560440 Looking forward to hearing from you Mac Mehaidli

Evo-all standalone in a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Will the Evo-all work as a standalone starter for a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee? My client says he called and spoke to someone here and they assured him it would monitor his factory remote and act as a standalone remote starter and then sold him an evo-all unit. I can turn on the option when I flash it but there is only an install guide for the standard bypass installation and not a standalone starter? Was he misinformed or am I missing something?

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Turns on but no crank, no start.

Installing Evo All, stand alone with Thar-CHR5 harness. Ignition and MUX wires are connected, module is programmed, key is programmed. Dash lights up, fuel pump buzzes but not start.

With the harness, I connected the yellow-yellow (ignition), green/red-purple (MUX), and white/red-pink/orange (starter) wires. is there something I'm missing?

2004 jeep Grand Cherokee evo all , connection 1 only 3 wires ?

Per connection 1. On the guide it's only showing Ignition, Data. Theres no 12v constant, or Accessory, or Start. So I'm just wondering why these connections are not needed... I mean literally looks like 2 or 3 wires on the 20 pin to use, and the 2 on the Red plug. I'm so lost on how this is working. Videos online show tapping into the main loom and grabbing the accessory, and starter, and constant to start the vehicle. Then the 2 wires for the bypass. Also last question do I need to hookup the obd2. Is that the same as data ?

2005 Grand Cherokee oem alarm goes off after starting

When I start my Cherokee in the morning after sitting all night the OEM alarm goes off after the vehicle starts. The alarm will shut off if I press the unlock button and the vehicle will stay running but this is not an ideal situation. How can I stop it from doing this?

Jeep Grand Cherokee 2001 tachometer signal

Hello, I am using an Evo-All version 7 system on a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, normally the firmware used should be 4.06, this is only available on version 6, so I use 74.22, everything works perfectly well except the tachometer signal which is not suitable, when I use my remote start the engine starts well then shuts off after a few seconds (the skim works well the problem does not come from the)   I know that some people will tell me to buy a version 6 in order to put firmware 4.06 in it but I live in France and it is very difficult to find the Fortin brand here, and therefore even more difficult to have a choice on the hardware versions ...       Do you have a solution? Is the signal present and not strong enough? (I ordered a digital oscilloscope to check this) Would it be possible to get an update worthy of the name for the J1850 protocol and the Evo-All version 7?       Hoping to have a solution ...

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Evo-One Keeps running with key removed

Issue developed recently. Jeep remote starts just fine. Sometimes it keeps running after the key has been removed. I think this happens when the Jeep has been remote started. When I am done driving and remove the key everything turns off, but the engine continues to run. It looks like there is a solid orange light on the device. If I disconnect the red connector the Jeep shuts off.

'07 Jeep GC, MUX voltage, key on- no crank, verifying wiring connections

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel Automatic, EVO-CHRT5 T harness, standalone F diagram. 74.07 firmware, 6.0 hardware, Bypass checked "on"  are A1,3,7 C1, D1, D2, all other options are checked "off". OEM key programming was successful. When I push lock 3X the ingition comes on but engnine does not crank. I checked ignition connection after lock 3x, the power consant (white /blue) =12v and starter cranking (white/red) = 11.9v. The MUX voltage (VOM on green /red and chassis ground)  with no key =4.19v, key in=3.61v, key on=.993v, crank =.36v.... when remote starting "key on" =1.05v, "key off"=4.19v, cranking = .40V. .. I also have error codes/warnings ( trans temp, 4WD system fault) that appear on dash when it tries to remote start.  I have attached pic of wiring to the ingnition connection. I'm questioning MUX voltage and correct wiring? attached pics. the wires are soldered to pins in connector

2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee parking light wires/connector 5pin

Installing EVO-CHRT6 on 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee push to start gas model. The instruction show the parking light connect to be 10pin. My jeep has a 5 pin connector at the light switch. Which pin (color) do I connect to parking light function? Do I still need to add 1k ohm resistor to this connection?

2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee DTCs after remote start is used

I purchased a evo all stand alone remote start with the T harness. After installing the unit I tested the remote start and everything seems to work as intended but I noticed that after using the remote start the check engine light on. So I read the codes and cleared them with my snap on solus ultra scanner. I then started the truck with the key to confirm they were cleared and all was good. I tried the remote start and again after it started the truck I have the same 3 DTCs U110A Lost communication with steering column module - CAN- C U0103 Lost communication with electric gear shift module U1411 Implausible fuel volume signal received The unit also does not turn on the heat or A/C. Nothing on the dash is on radio, gauges etc.

Recent EVO-ALL firmware does not work on 07 Grand Cherokee.

I've recently upgraded my remote start system in my 07 Grand Cherokee. What I had was and Autopage remote start unit with and EVO-ALL using 74.08 firmware. All functions worked on that system. I decided to upgrade to a new Compustar CMS7200 unit while keeping the EVO-ALL. During installation, I wanted to check which options I could set in the EVO-ALL using the flash link updater. When I hooked it up, it told me that new firmware is available and 74.35 was recommended. I upgraded the firmware and set the options and tested it out. Everything worked except the remote start. The vehicle would start and run for about 3 seconds and then shutdown. Knowing that my previous system didn't do this, I downgraded back to 74.08 which worked fine. I ended up going between several versions of firmware trying to get the later versions to work. I tried 74.34, then 74.22 and both shutdown the remote start immediately. I also tried 74.14 which worked. During this process, I was trying to troubleshoot the unlock-lock before remote start, so i downgraded to 74.12 noting how 74.14 made the relock faster after unlock before remote start. After this, it told me my unit can't be flashed anymore. So why doesn't the newer firmware work? And can you unlock my EVO-ALL so that I can manage the options in it?
