Mazda CX-5 2016 auto w/ push to start
Parts Used: Evo-ALL with THAR-Maz1 hardness
Guide Used: 62951
Wires hooked up:
Parking Lights- Yellow/Red, Yellow/Blue, Yellow/Green
Connector A into Connector C and Connector B plugged into Plug 1.
Data Door Lock- Lt. Blue to Green/Orange
Data Key- Lt Blue/Black to Black/White
Yellow- Nothing NO RF KIT USED
White and Black plugs on end of 4-wire Data plug- nothing (NO RF KIT USED)

After completing step 12 on guide the yellow light turns off and nothing happens. The unit just goes blank. First thing I did was try to find a solution. Then I reflashed the unit with the firmware and tried it all over again. Nothing changed still all same results so I went over all the connections I made and all are firm and good connections. I don't don't get any flashing lights to indicate a fault either.

I have solved all issue, please read my replies. if I can help post or email me at matthew.irizarry.mi@gmail.com I will try to assist you if you have the same car and unit as I do.

2015 Mazda CX-5 EVO-MATZ1 red LED after 3x lock press

Hello, I am installing EVO-MATZ1 on a 2015 CX-5 Touring. I have properly followed guide #62951. I do not have the parking lights hooked up, nor the hood switch via the dark blue wire from the EVO-ALL unit at this time. The CX-5 does not have a hood switch. Once I get the remote start working, I will install the included hood switch. The unit is programmed properly by following the instructions and getting the proper LEDs. When I hit the lock button 3x, the redlight automatically comes on. Then the yellow light, then they both turn off. It does this again, then the lights stay off. Thats the first problem I have encountered. The second issue I have is I did a reset by holding the programming button and programming the unit. Now whenI plug in the 4 wire power harness, all 3 LEDs blink. I tried to reprogramit but I am having problems. When I turn on the ignition, I do not get a yellow light on the first key.

2016 Mazda CX-5 EVO-ALL Plus THAR-MAZ1 Unable to Find Ground Out While Running

I am planning on installing an EVO-ALL with T-harness on a 2016 Mazda CX-5. This is my first time doing this, I was looking over everthing on WireColor as well as guide 62941. I think I am able to find everything I need except WireColor does not show a wire to connect A8 to (ground while running). Does this wire just get grounded to the vehicle or does it need to go to another wire? Also, WireColor states that wire A2 going to Lock needs an in-line 1k ohm resistor. Is this necessary? Lock & Arm is also called out but guide 62941 does not show a wire going here, does anything need to be done for Lock & Arm?

Preferred setup for 2016 Mazda CX-5

Hi, Sorry if this question was answered previously but I'm not seeing my answer. I have a 2016 Mazda CX-5 (push-to-start automatic) and would prefer not to use a seperate fob. • Will any of the options allow for takeover so the car doesn't stop when the door opens? • Which option would allow me to add a mobile (smartphone) solution down the road? • Do any of the options require no cutting of cables in the vehicle (true plug and go)? • Are any functions not available by my using the factory fob alone? • Is there a different start sequence that doesn't sound the horn? My days start early and I don't want my neighbours to hate me. thanks!

2015 Mazda CX-5 will not remote start

Wired and installed EVO ALL according to Guide 62951. I did not connect the park lights. All programming steps worked according to guide. When I attempt to remote start by pushing lock 3X on the fob, the module will light up as follows. The red LED will light up. 2 seconds after the red LED lights up the yellow LED lights up. They both stay on for 8 seonds and then both turn off. The process repeats a second time about 4 seconds after both LEDs turn off. After the second time nothing happens. The blue LED on the module does flash when I hit Lock/Unlock on the fob. I have tried remote starting with the Dark Blue wire for the safety switch grounded and not grounded with no difference. The module has hardware version 6 and firmware update is 71.39. Options C1 and D1 are selected.

2016 Mazda CX-5 EVO-MAZT1 Programmed but does not start

We have a 2016 Mazda CX-5 GT w/Tech. I've programmed, reset, and re-programmed the module 3 times now. Hardware v6; the firmware has been updated to the latest as of today (71.34 I believe). The device is set to OEM remote standalone remote starter, 3x lock remote start, 15 minute run. It's installed and has been programmed following the instructions, #35221 Connection 1 (REMOTE CAR STARTER ONLY - DOORLOCK BY OEM REMOTE). All of the LEDs on the device match the output described in the instructions after every step except for the very end of the instructions where the red/yellow LEDs alternately blink. I pull the power on the EVO-ALL and then re-plug and all LEDs are dark until remote input. When I step away from the car (doors shut and locked) the blue LED does light up on each lock press. After three I see the EVO-ALL execute the following LED pattern: Red, long Yellow, Red, long Yellow, then three quick Red blinks. The car does not atempt to start and nothing lights up. The security indicator in the instrument cluster continues to blink. It will continue this pattern every time it sees three lock signals. When starting the car traditionally, the Yellow LED stays lit. I've read all of the posts here and elsewhere that I can find and I'm not sure what I've missed.
