Why is that my remote start and keyless entry don't work after my 07 mdx is parked for more than one hour?

After the installation, I can only get the remote start and keyless entry to work if I use the OEM remote and key to start my 07 Acura MDX and run it for a while. I don't know whether this is a programming issue. When the after market remote starts to work and if I arm the car to let it park for a while, it wont disarm again or start. When I try to open the door to use the key, the alarm will just go off.
