EVO-ALL 2004 Jeep Liberty - do I need a separate starter module?

0 votes
I've purchased an EVO-ALL (HWv7) along with an RF624W kit to install in a 2004 Jeep Liberty. Do I need to purchase an additional starter module or is the EVO-ALL able to start the 2004 Liberty itself?

EVO-ALL HARDWARE 6 only . New hardwares do not support older Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep J1850 databus vehicles at this time. Or INT-SL+ for immobilizer bypass.   https://fortin.ca/en/vehicles/jeep/liberty/2004-standard-key/

You need a traditional remote starter module added to this.

EVo-ALL does not support Stand Alone Remote starter on that car. It's high current.

Thank you for your response.

I've seen a lot of conflicting information about this Hardware 6 only note, notably that J1850 support was added back to the 74.XX firmwares. Was it removed again after a specific firmware revision, and does this mean that any hardware revision other than 6 will not work or are just not supported?
firmware 4.06 (original firmware) and 74.15 through 74.22.

J1850 was removed afterwards to make room for new cars.

It was re-added when EVO-ONE came out at 74.15 through 74.22 since evo-one never had a 4.06 firmware. We completely removed evo-one from those cars since it was never tested anyway.

All those firmwares are not available with hardware 7 evo-all until firmware is rebuilt for it (vehicles needed to rebuilt a firmware).
Great, thank you for clarifying.
