2017 Civic PTS, doors no longer locks automatically when getting out of the car

0 votes
The doors no longer lock automatically when I get out of the car. I used to turn off the car with the PTS button, get out of the car and the doors lock after few seconds, but since I updated the firmware of the evo-one (and the wirings), they no longer lock automatically. I mean, I wait an hour after getting out of the car and the car are still unlock. When I remote start the car, the doors relock automatically. The problem is only when I get out of the car. As I said, with the previous firmware, I have no problem. Can it be an option in the firmware? I recheck the wiring 3 times, but can it be a bad soldering? Thanks!

I'm getting the same problem here with the Evo-One. The bypass firmware is at v73.28 and the remote starter firmware is at v1.24.

Everything works fine except walk away door lock car's original feature is not working anymore.

Waiting for support from Fortin.

Same here...
On few Civic X trims 2017 and UP, this is what we call the "Walk Away Doors Lock" I'm experiencing the same issue. I went back to the person who installed the Evo-One, remove everything installed, it worked. Re-installed the Evo-One, Honda Walk Away Doors Lock worked for a week or 2, and now not working at all. Do not mix with the one embedded in the Evo-One when engaged with Ready Mode. This is the Honda Walk Away Doors Lock.

THANKS FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE.

Hi,

Finally, I reconfigured the Evo-One and the "Walk Away Doors Lock" works perfectly until now. My config is as below:

1. BY PASS (v73.29): A1 to A11-ON, B1-OFF, C1-ON, D2-ON, D3 to D5-OFF, D6-ON.

2. Remote Start (v.2.24-latest): 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, 6.1, 7.1, 8.1, 9.1, 10.1, 11.2+11.4, 12.1, 13.2, 14.1, 15.1, 16.5, 18.1, 19.1, 20.6, 21.1, 24.1, 25.1, 26.1, 29.1, 30.1, 31.1, 33.1, 34.no selection, 35.1, 36.2, 37.1, 38.2, 39.2.

Please note that you HAVE to remove the negative connector out of the battery before remove or insert the Evo-One. This will help A LOT to prevent any feature does not work as expected.

Besides, after insert the Evo-One to the car and re-connect the negative connector to the battery. Don't try the remote start feature first. Let get in the car and start it manually by Push-to-Start button, make sure it works then turn off, get out of the car and check for "Walk Away Doors Lock" feature. If everything is fine then you can test the Remote Start feature.

Hope this help.
