My car isnt responding to the App

Hi, I have the cx-3 2019 and EVO start 2 was installed with phone app. everyhing was fine until lately i realized that when using the app ex: engine start , that it would indicate that the car is started but in reality nothing happened. Same as lock or unlock. Phone app states that it worked but there is no change. Keep in mind tough that when i use the key starter the car does turn on. Any suggestions? please help!!
