2016 Ford Focus ST/RS Push to Start

2016 Ford Focus ST Push-to-start support is "coming soon" for a few months. Any word on when that may be available and whether it is expected to also work for the 2016 Focus RS? I have installed several Fortin bypass and remote start systems on other cars and would be willing to help by testing out install and firmware on my 2016 Focus RS. I also have the Flash Link Updater 2.

Lock and brake status not working through datalink

I've already solved this problem, but found this to be an excellent forum for remote start questions so I'm writing this in order to help others that may run into the same problem I did.

Installed a Crimestopper RS7-G5 with an EVO-ALL.  Remote start, unlock, even the tailgate open worked fine, but there were two problems:

Pressing lock on the Crimestopper remote would lock and immediately unlock the doors; brake status wasn't being received by the Crimestopper (so the remote start couldn't be cancelled by pressing the froot brake).

Tested grouding the purple wire on the EVO-ALL to confirm that it properly controlled the locks.  That worked as expected so the problem was in the Crimestopper.

After a bunch of messing around and reading other questions here, I set the option on the Crimestopper to use the Fortin DataLink protocol.  The default option is supposed to already be set to the Fortin protocol, but for some reason, this Crimstopper unit was incorrect from the factory.

(This might be the same problem as posted in this question, but that question was never fully resolved.)

2006 Civic and EVO ALL Occasional Alarm Triger

Installed an EVO-ALL with Crimestopper Cool Start in a 2006 Honda Civic. All works as expected most of the time. However, customer noted that twice in approximately 15 remote-starts, the start triggered the OEM car alarm. In all attempts the car was locked with the OEM remote to arm the alarm. I questioned whether the the alarm triggered when the car had been locked for a while, but one time that the car alarm triggered the car had only been locked/armed for a few seconds. Wiring matches connection diagram 4 from the EVO-ALL install guide, including the door lock connections shown. I forgot to note the firmware version stamped on the EVO-ALL. If that information would be helpful to know, I'll have to obtain that at a later date. Thank you.

2007 Toyota Tacoma & EVO-RIDE: Dinging when door is open, but no key

EVO-RIDE Service Number: 000903020460 As soon as power is applied to the EVO-RIDE (through the data link cable), the car begins dinging as if there is a key in the ignition. It continues to ding as long as the ignition is off and the door is open. The remote start works, but all warning lights in the instrument cluster remain on even after key take-over. Owner needs to press brake to release the remote-start, then re-start vehicle with the key to resolve the warning lights. Module came with formware version 2.03. Tried re-flashing to 0.17 as recommended by technical support since it is supposed to resolve the "Toyota Key Sense" problem. Both firmware versions exhibit the same behavior. Remote start system is Cromestopper Cool Start RS3-G4, connected to EVO-RIDE through data link.
