Evo One programming issues

I've followed all instructions. I made all the proper connections but when I try to program the unit and get to the step to start the car I don't get the 10 red flashes. I've triple checked all connections, Upgraded the firmware to the latest then downgraded it back down to 79.37 saved all the suggested options and still can't get it to program. Am I supposed to hold the program button and let the flashes go until the unit just displays a solid red on it's own or am i supposed to let go of the program button when it gets to a single red and let go before it repeats the sequence? I've literally spent a couple hours on this today. I'm using guide # 60331.

What are the correct pins to tap for IMI and IMO at the drivers side kick panel 60 pin connector?

My wire colors are not matching up with the pins for IMO and IMI connections. Since I have to cut the IMI wire I want to make sure it's the correct one. The guide says pins 10 and 11 respectively but those colors don't match up. I have a 2010 Lexus GS 350 so maybe those pins and colors are for another year. I just got the EVO ONE i n the mail went to wirecolor.com which is not much help at all. Someone posted a pic of the connector and labelled pins 32 and 33 so I'm really thrown off. I even see pics of someone tapping the wire directly at the brake switch for the foot brake and another wire in the harness under the scuff plate for the doors. Any help would be appreciated since I will not be installing until Thursday or Friday.
